The fish tacos were presented in blue corn tortillas. The burrito had a delicious mix of flank steak and shrimp along with peppers, onions and black beans. The garden was full of families and couples enjoying the restaurant. Our server Axel was friendly and has…a fun personality. Will definitely go back in the future as Versalles is our new neighborhood.More

We tried several dishes- ceviche, aguachiles, and a few different tostadas, all were excellent. Service was exemplary, the staff was helpful and attentive, but not overly so. Wonderful experience, highly recommend.

We had the tuna steak and it was delicious. Some of the best tuna we ever had. Perfectly seasoned and cooked. The jicama and avocado salad was also wonderful. Great service in a casual setting. We wanted to go back because we liked the restaurant…so much but because they closed at 630PM we missed it. I wish they would be open a little later.More

This was our second visit this season. It did not disappoint. We ordered several dishes to try including the whole snapper. It was fried and excellent. We shared different tacos and ice cream for dessert. Drinks were very good. Service was great. It’s now a…regular stop for us.More

Heard good things about this restaurant so thought we give it a try on a Sunday evening. The service was very good and the outdoor seating was very comfortable and that is about all. We had the shrimp ceviche tostado and the pulpo tostado each…for 55 pesos and was very fresh and tasty. Now, for our main meals….it was a huge let down with the flavors. We had the grilled octopus (whole) for 295 pesos that came with some fried squash or yam chips and a little side salad. The taste was overpowering with a “smoke” flavor. We had the diablo shrimp with shells no heads …13 of them over some mashed potatoes and some salad and stir fried veggies in margarine. The taste and the smell of the margarine killed the flavors. The shrimp had no sauce like it should with diablo instead it was dry and overpowered with the same “smoke” flavor as the octopus. Lastly, we had the seafood pasta alfredo again with an overpowering “smoke” flavor. I suspect they use a liquid smoke flavoring enhancer and really over did it. Our pina colada was so watered down with water instead of alcohol and coconut milk for 75 pesos and a Loba negra beer for 80 pesos. Our bill came to 1015 pesos and tip on top of that. We will not be returning as their flavors were a huge disappointment and the food really was not good. I must say the service was EXCELLENT.More

We went for lunch here for our New Year treat. It was very inviting, open air and cool. The staff were so friendly. We had the shrimp tacos followed by a cinnamon bun with home made ice cream and it was all so good. I…also had a blended passion fruit margarita that was yummy. There are lot’s of tables and a play area for kids. Well priced. We will be back.More

Located in a neighborhood called the Versailles area Abulon Antojeria del Mar is, by far, the best Seafood I have had in my life. Chef Sebastian is so talented. The rest of the staff are all so friendly yet professional. I have rarely ever given…a 5 star review but this is well deserved.More

A hidden gem! This restaurant is on par with high traffic places without the price shock. My father’s favorite place is La Palapa and he said dinner (tuna app, shrimp & whole sea bass entrees) exceeded flavor & quality of La Palapa and was half…the cost. The flavor profiles & components are well thought out – excellent balance in the dishes we tried. Seafood was super fresh and portions are generous. I also appreciated having a craft beer selection that included a good mix of local beers in various styles – I’m a fan of dark beers (stout & porter) and big bitter IPAs. This restaurant is tucked into the Versailles neighborhood. It is quaint and has great ambiance. It is casual but service is top notch. The staff are knowledgeable and there is excellent attention to detail – anticipating needs, clearing plates, replacing cutlery after each course, etc. This place is a huge winner and I will definitely be back!More

My trip to Vallarta is not complete if we don’t come to eat to this family run restaurant located in Versalles. The service is excellent and the food cannot be compared to any other seafood restaurant in Vallarta. Good prices and a very original menu….The Micheladas and Margaritas are delicious. Looking forward to my next visit!More

My partner and I have been on a ceviche quest for the past several months. As we enter the dead of summer, Vallarta continues to get hotter and more humid by the day and the prospect of sitting over a plate of burning hot tacos…or bowl of steaming pozole sounds worse and worse. In fact, I’m sweating thinking about it in this heat. And sure, Abulon has tacos and burritos and they are fantastic. Especially the Chicharon de Pulpo tacos and the Cameron Pastor tacos. But where it’s really at is the the cold stuff. Tostadas and aguachiles and ceviches. They’re all so fresh and tasty and perfect for a hot summer day. What sets Abulon apart is that their dishes are so complex. With most tostadas and ceviches you take a bite and then another and each bite is the same as before. With these, the entire tostada is an experience from the first bite to the last. Absolutely masterful and delicious every single time. Our ceviche quest is over and yours will be too.More
