About
Archie’s Wok is widely recognized as Puerto Vallarta’s best Asian fusion restaurant, featuring authentic, freshly prepared cuisine that spans the Pacific Rim from Thailand to the Philippines, to China and Vietnam. The staff offers traditional and contemporary dishes from these distinctive regions. They daily prepare a palette of complex sauces and condiments. Savor the aromas of spicy chili sambals, curry pastes, their famous hoisin sauce for the ribs and chiang mai sauce, too. The menu is truly a cuisine of medleys, which combines Pacific Island foods, Asian cooking techniques, Mexico’s fresh ingredients and a host of other cultural and culinary influences. Seafood is caught daily in Banderas

Another restaurant that we make it a point to visit each time we come to Puerto Vallarta. Archie’s is a mixture of Asian and Mexican cooking that an’t be found elsewhere. The Thai gazpacho was a wonderful blend of spices. My favorite is the Thai…lingua, a unusual fusion of Thai south a traditional Mexican dish. The lingua in a Thai coconut sauce is fantastic.More

I have lived in Puerto Vallarta for approximately 23 years, I wander around the romantic zone to embark to Yelapa, Las Animas, or quimixto that I love; but I rarely roam the area at night. I was passing out of Archis in the morning but…it’s still closed, what I missed!! I wasn’t very hungry and a friend convinced me to go (I’m a carnivore), I accepted and I loved the place!! from the moment I walked through the door it was amazing; I like to cook and unfortunately I wasn’t very hungry, I wanted to order one of each dish on the menu, I ordered GINGERY STIR-FRIED VEGETABLES!! I could feel every flavor of every spice that the dish is prepared with!! I will definitely go back and order a different dish until I devour the menu hahaha!! Super recommended, flavor, attention, hygiene and tranquility! THANK YOU Archie’s team!!More

One of our top 5 restaurants in PV. Awesome food and service. Full bar. Good wine selection. Takes credit cards. The ribs are my favorite along with the egg rolls.

You would not think that you could ever find excellent Asian food in Mexico, but it is here at Archie’s Wok. My husband, brother and I had dinner here last night and ordered three different dishes and all were absolutely delicious! My husband, who NEVER…raves about food, kept saying “Wow, everything is soooo good!” My brother said “5 stars for each one!” And I agree with them! So… consider ordering the Hoi-Sin stir fry with shrimp, Pancit with chicken and the Singapore chicken. For dessert? Citrus Cloud plus Molten Chocolate Cake equals deliciousness as well….mmmm…dare I say heavenly? Six more days here, so we will definitely be back to try other dishes!More

This place is a must try if you are in Puerto Vallarta. The food, service, and story of this place are pretty awesome! There is a story on the back of the menu, definitely read that! I ordered the Spicy noodles with shrimp and my…husband ordered the almond chicken. Everything was full of flavor and presented beautifully. The Server, and its owner/manager? We’re Attentive and very helpful.More

Busy place. My husband had the fish and loved it. My dish had loads of vegetables and 6 average size shrimp but tasty. My biggest issue here was the staff. We literally just sat down and we’re asked what we wanted without getting a chance…to look at the menu. We were asked 4 times in 5 minutes if we had decided. Service was super fast but plates were attempted to be taken away without us finishing. I went to the toilet and came back and my nearly empty glass had been taken away! When we arrived there were 3 ladies next to us who all had empty wine glasses and had obviously eaten. They were still seated when we left with the same empty glasses! This whole dining experience took 35 minutes! It’s all about the turnover and not the diner….I will not return as this felt like a fast food experience rather than a dining one!More

Not as good as reviews would have you believe. If you’re used to good authentic asian food then you will find this place lacking. Tried their 3 course meal and found all items except gelato boring. Vegetable tempura was soft and came with sauces that…are not traditionally served with tempura. My chicken and broccoli dish was okay but boring, I figure there were about 5 ingredients missing. For the prices they need to step up their food flavors. $1700 pesos for 4 with 2 glasses of wine, a mango smoothie and a bottle of water. Menu is weird too, check it out online, it’s an Asian fusion which means they can’t be authentic asian and if they are then they didn’t learn to cook from their moms.More

My partner and I had an excellent lunch on the patio at Archie’s Wok near Playa de Muertos. Both entrees were tasty as well as the appetizers. I would highly recommend this restaurant in Puerto Vallarta.
