A superb Mexican diner not posh but great food staff and atmosphere had breakfast on two mornings and dinner one evening
I had ribs while my husband had the beef fajitas. The ribs were a good value. Meat was tasty and the stuffed baked potato was delicious. My husband’s beef fajitas was a very generous portion accompanied by refried beans, guacamole. The beef was a bit…well done for my husband’s taste but he enjoyed the meal. The passion fruit margarita and peach daiquiri were quite tasty tooMore
Cafe De Olla was a great find for breakfast! We waited in line right when the opened for breakfast. Chilaquiles and Coffee was very good. Lazaro Cardenas Park and the beach is just a short walk. Cash only no cards.
Always busy now that they serve breakfast. They have a nice small menu for breakfast sometimes there is a line because tourist think it’s great if I wait in line, there are plenty of places for eggs all around. Staff is good and the food…is also good not huge servings but huge plates. Bloody Mary’s are great.More
Great food and very good value. Lots to eat and often there is a line up. Locals and tourists alike, music was good and waiters interactive. Good sized portions. They only take cash though , not much of an issue as prices are good.
Consistent great food for over the 20 years we have been going to PV. Breakfast lunch and dinner always good. Often lineups so if no line up grab it. Good service pleasant staff.
We have been eating at Cafe de Olla for 28 years. We just stumbled upon it years ago and never miss a visit there each year when we visit PV. The food is excellent. The service is great. The prices are very reasonable. They are…always busy and that is a testament to the wonderful food, good service and the fair prices.More
Fabulous food, prices, portions and great staff!! So great to be back at one of our all time favourites restaurants. We also stop here. Looking forward to next as our next hotel is close by. Highly recommend
Stopped by every day for an afternoon brew just from the beach with fresh Guacamole and chips every day. I had them take the cucumbers out of the Guac and it was much better. They have different chips than most of the restaurants and are…always fresh and crisp. Great service as well.More
We ate here two days in a row. On day one we ordered the empanadas which were delicious. In day two ????, there were six of us and we ordered quite a few items off the menu, all were delicious – taco soup, baked potatoe,…omelette to name a few. From what I saw and heard, everything on the menu is delicious.very friendly staff and when they were told it was my wife’s birthday, they brought over some tequila and cake.More
Was staying at Riu Vallarta and decided to go into PV for a day trip for a change of scenery. Walked past this place at lunchtime and it was packed, which is always a good sign. Had a little walk about and when we passed…by a little later it had quietened down, so decided to go in. It was a good choice. Big portions, good food and a great vibe to the place. Also compared to other similar restaurants near by it was very reasonably priced.More
SO delicious! The best octopus I have ever eaten. I got a banana daiquiri that was perfectly sweet. Our waiter was very helpful and kind. He knew the menu very well.
This is one of my favorite places to have breakfast in Vallarta. There is almost always a line to wait for the table but it moves fast. I recommend Chilaquiles for breakfast. Everything is good in this place so you will not be disappointed.
Fun and great food Breakfast omelette was perfect with a mild green sauce. Big Bang for your buck! We return soon!
Arrived to PV March 27th tired and hungry. This being at the top of our favorites from before Covid had to be our first stop. Great chicken enchiladas – must try. The chicken is seasoned and both green and red are delicious.
