Wonderful lunch, terrific views and great service from Milton this is a must do for every trip! Palmares beach has a ramp or a few steps to a beautiful sandy beach that is very walkable and gentle slope to the surf. The rancheras music certainly…added to our lunch experience.More
Generous dops of meat on tostadas! Great quality food and drinks, just pricier than other beachside restaurants with tables and views up the road … but may be worth it for the quality! Great service.
Love this place. Great food in a beautiful setting. Our server Angel was the best today & we kept him busy! From the guacamole and chips to the tempura shrimp tacos to the ceviche tostadas, everything was delicious. The best part was the beach! Perfect…day at the beach, nice waves and sandy bottom.More
We just wanted a table in the sand and a couple of cevezas. Well only tables in the sand were rentals at a cost of 200mp. The restaurant there charges 40mp per beer, a couple each, with a tip, another 200mp. Well 400mp for 4…beer is no bargain. On the plus side, the restaurant is nice. The beach and water were clean and there was not one vendor to draw your attention away from the calming waves.More
I had steak tacos and a delicious cocktail on the upstairs patio. The view (and the beach below) are stunning and not too crowded. Great option if you’re looking for something a little quieter than PV.
Food is good enough but nothing special 3/5. Left a tip of 5%, the owner came up and demanded 10%. No any word about it in menu or the check
Has always been one of our favorites until today, 1/31/22! Nine of us local residents went for lunch. Three of us ordered Cadillac margaritas! We have always been given separate checks in the past so we were more interested in what our costs would be….Our server, Pana, said the machine wouldn’t allow separate checks. We asked the price of our Cadillac margaritas, $135 pesos. Nothing said about large or small. When they presented our cuenta, margaritas were $275 pesos! We were told they were grande! I explained there was no mention of small or large, but our server just shrugged his shoulders. I asked to speak to the manager/owner. Pana said I could go downstairs to speak to him. I said no thank you. Being a local resident and a frequent patron, I thought he could come upstairs and do the right thing. Did not happen. It really had nothing to do with the double price, but everything to do with the server quoting a price and they did not honor what they said. The next time the rains come and wipe them out, and they ask for help vacating, I will be unavailable! Shame on you Luis Villanueva!More
The service was dreadful. We waited over 45 min for our food which they got wrong and had to wait a further 20 min. So a total over over an hour. They food was a 4/10 and service was horrendous. They were very rude! DONT…EAT HEREMore
Great service, great value. Really nice people. Tuna tostadas to die for. It has a great easy vibe. Lots of locals
The staff and owner are very kind and accommodating. This is a very unique and authentic place to eat with great food and views.
Not far from downtown, on the side of the road is Canto Palmares. This placed was introduced to me by a local and OMG, every time I am in PV I make sure to get out to this place! Best view of the ocean, great…beach to hang out at before or after your meal. Amazing drinks and the best food I have found in all of PV! It’s worth the trip out here!More
Excellent food and service. The great music and amazing sunset view make it a wonderful experience…. Highly recommended!
Came here a about 5 months before Covid hit, loved it. Finally able to make it back to Puerto Vallarta and made sure we stopped at Canto Palmares. Loved it back in 2019, love it 2021! Angel provided great service, and Oscar mixed us up…some delicious adult beverages. Will be a regular stop for us when in Puerto Vallarta.More

On the highway about 15 mins drive out of town. Lovely beach front mostly seafood restaurant. Lovely view overlooking the beach. Music was a little loud for such a serene setting.
