It was a very nice place to have dinner. We were taken care of by a kind waiter named DANIEL. I had a Juicy Lucy burger and una cervecita Victoria. My lady had a seafood plate New Orleans style with shrimp, mussels, and blue crab….We loved an open-concept of the place and flavorfulness of the dishes.More
We just had a great experience at Capitan Cajun! We went there to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday and it was a great choice. Our waiter, Carlos, did a great job guiding us through the menu. We ordered the low country boil. Our food was wonderful,…and frankly, not very expensive. My kinda dinner!More
The service was great and our waiter Daniel was very helpful!! But their shrimp boil wasn’t the best. My rating is for their food rather than their service. I had planned my trip to PV a few months in advance and I couldn’t wait to…try this place because the reviews were so good. However, if you’ve been to boiling crab and bubba gump and love them then this place isn’t for you. The sauce in the boil wasn’t anything special and needed a lot more seasoning and flavor. I was expecting the boil to be delicious but I was disappointed. I hope in the future the owners can add more seasoning and spices to the cajun boil because it tasted like I was only eating shrimp with lemon and pepper… very plain. However the octopus dish and guacamole they gave us was good! But it’s disappointing that their most famous dish lacked flavor and seasoning. And they were out of the clam soup.More

I was looking for crab, and i got some in a great dish. They were missing a major part of the dish, but because of world supply issues I understand. Not a main street place, and that helps its vibe. Besides the ingredient shortage, there…were a lot of flys around our table. But it’s an outdoor place, and we timed it so there were few people there. We might have been the main attraction! Lol… Food was delicious. There was spice and flavor where i wanted it. Service was on point. Our specific server was great, and we chatted about Naruto. Summoned us an uber and kept us updated while we chatted. Next time, I hope the dish can be made with all the ingredients. This is on my list to return to.More

My husband and I went to Capitan Cajun last week for an early dinner and loved it. Like many in the area, this restaurant is open-air, but shaded. They have an impressive list of house cocktails (in addition to all the usual ones), and our…waiter, Daniel, was very helpful in suggesting drinks he thought were particularly good. I had two cocktails, both his suggestions, and enjoyed both immensely. We ordered fish chicharron, the Viking Tower, Captain Tuna, and a side of cajun fries. Everything was delicious, and we’ll definitely come back to sample more. The food arrive quickly, and we were attentively checked on, but not intrusively so. Daniel was super friendly, speaks excellent English, and let us practice our Spanish with him. We exchanged some slang.More

It’s has excellent service and it’s fast too, the workers there are great. Special thanks to Jaime who was our waiter that day.
Too bad they are so disorganized with orders and timing because the food is good. Ive been here often but lately they are all over the place. This last time we waited almost an hour only to find out our order was never placed.More
We are sorry that your experience has not been pleasant, It was an atypical day, if you can read the other opinions, this is not something that happens often, since We have spoken with the staff so that this type of detail does not happen…More
Food was very good! It’s just a block off the main road, not far from Secrets. It’s definitely worth the visit. Staff was great, Daniel was a sweetheart.
First of all we want to thank you for choosing us to spend a pleasant time and secondly thank you for taking the time to write this review, we hope you come back soon and continue enjoying what the captain has to offer.
Best restaurant of our PV trip! Our server Danielle was the best! The food was flavorful & filling! The service was quick. The place was clean, including the bathroom. Parking was easy. Will be returning!

We both had the shrimp and crab boil which had virtually no crab. The season only resembled Cajun / New Orleans in that it was spicy but it wasn’t particularly flavorful. The service while friendly was very slow. The drinks and guacamole were vey good.
Thank you for sharing your comments with us, this helps us improve day by day, we are sorry that not everything has been to your liking.
