What makes Devil’s Bar so special……. THE PEOPLE! We have been coming here for years and love the owners and the staff. Many of them have become like family to us. Caia, Amy and Alex are 3 of my fav bartenders. I personally love their…Mexcalitas. They are so flavorful and well put together. As soon as we get to town this is our first stop and every night we are in town we start here. The drinks are just so good and the environment is fun. They keep the place very clean and organized. The owners are very friendly and just good people. The view, you can’t beat the view! Who wouldn’t want to sit and drink a cocktail while watching whales or dolphins swimming right there!More
We came in for a beer and enjoyed the Devils bar. It’s in a great location and a perfect spot to stop and rest your feet. The service was good and our bartender was very attentive.
A small bar with lots of margrietta options . Cold fresh drinks and attentive staff. Not fancy but a good mix of patrons around the bar.
Nice little bar, short walking distance from the hotel we stayed at. Drinks were okay, location is good. Don’t expect anything fancy.
Great Margaritas, nice staff, small but personalable. The service was great and the prices reasonable for the quality of beverage you received.
We went here a couple of time on our vacation. The first time was not great but we wanted to give it a second chance as we had heard good things. The second visit just confirmed the poor service and drinks. The place only had…a handful of clients each time and the staff was busy on their phones and we sat waiting to order, never asked how we liked our drinks etc. By far the worst service we received while in valllarta!More
Wow, I’ve never been to a bar with a more rude and dirty bartender than here. There were two gals working, but one sat at the bar the whole time on her phone while the other, Susy, could not be bothered to make drinks. She…didn’t even greet us with hello, just “what you want?” I had the margarita and it was TERRIBLE – all lime juice and salt and no tequila. Plus Susy didn’t wash her hands after scratching her crotch area several times before she made our drinks – DISGUSTING!! There were only maybe 10 people in the bar altogether and she was rude to EVERYONE. We talked amongst each other and apparently the regulars that go to Devils often know how rude she is and called it “normal”. She dropped a bar utensil on the ground and picked it up and put it back in the fruit container without cleaning it. I paid cash for our bill and she put the money in her pocket, so not sure if she even charged us correctly or if she was stealing from the bar. The regulars said she’s dating the owner who I thought was married, so maybe they have another arrangement going on. Either way, this bar was dirty, the bartender Susy was dirty and rude, and $1000 MXN for 4 drinks was way too much. Never going back.More
Great location, cheap well made drinks, friendly crowd and awesome staff. The lady behind the bar spotted my allegiance to Bowie on my T shirt and puts some Bowie on! Small things make good into great, and this bar is great.
Have to say we have been here many times & have always had awesome service & great drinks! Last night we had the worst cocktails ever served to us in PV. Tried to politely talk to the female bartender & all she wanted to do…was argue. Paid for drinks & left! Will stop to talk to owner next time he is in to let him know our experience ????More

Walking down the Malecón we spotted this small local dive bar, which seemed like a good spot to stop and have a couple of icy cold adult beverages. Full of colourful ex-pats enjoying the very strong and reasonably priced drinks, loved their T-shirt collection. The…bar staff were very friendly, and gave us the names of lots of alternative places to eat! They do not close till late (2:00 am) so a nice place to come in the evening, and enjoy the beautiful view of the Bay of Banderas and listen to the waves when all the cruise ship passengers have left. One of my favorite bars anywhere. Beer is cold, one step off the malacon. Great people watching of just ESPN on the TV’s. Nothing better than a nice ocean breeze with a drink and this place hits the spot every time.
Angie was great!!!! small and very fun. beers are always VERY cold. People just seem to gravitate there.
Without a doubt the best bar in all of PV. Friendly staff and yummy drinks….not the watered down versions at all the hotels. Absolutely fun fun fun.
