About
Our establishment opened its doors in 1973 and has maintained its reputation as one of the premier restaurants in Puerto Vallarta. Our view is unrivaled in Vallarta as we are located on top of Hotel Suites La Siesta on a hillside 4 blocks from the beach and boardwalk (malecon) in the very heart of El Centro. We have two rooftop terraces and two indoor salons that have commanding views of the entire Bay of Banderas and city with its array of red tiled rooftop. Our menu is international and features flambe cooking right at your table as well as our unique caesar salad, desserts and flamming coffees. Our restaurant is rich in history and tradition and should be part of what all tourists are looking

Don’t get me wrong it’s a great view but the food, service and overall ambiance is horrible. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. It may have been a great establishment at one time, but no longer is.

Everything was perfect for our anniversary celebration with our friends. The tableside food presentation, music and service were all wonderful. Not to mention the wonderful view. I highly suggest checking El Panorama it for dinner soon.

Bruno and his team make dinner a real entertainment experience in Puerto Vallarta! It wouldn’t be a vacation without dinner there. The view of the city is spectacular. We really love his place, especially for a sunset dinner.

4 of us went for dinner. We have been there every time we come to PV and the food and service have always been first class! It was the first time for our friends and the were duly impressed with the view, food and service….Bruno does a fantastic job with the flambéed dishes done table side. Both of us guys had steaks, which were cooked to perfection and our wives had 2 different chicken dishes. My wife and I each had drinks, soup or salad and our entrees and the cost the cost was $60. I highly recommend this restaurant.More

I have never left a review ever. We just left, and I can’t find a superlative that’s super enough. First the view incredible, the musician was great, our waiter Bruno was the nicest person and an excellent cook, he prepared a shrimp dish and chateaubriand…at the table. 11 of us ate and everyone loved the food. It was one of the top dinners of my life and I mean from New York to Paris to Rome. Thank You PanaramaMore

The service was great. We got table side flambe steak and Cameones wrapped in bacon, Yummy. We dined to the mellow sounds of live guitar as we watched the fire works from our open window seat. We were also treated to a lightning show as…a bonus. Middle of the road pricing and atmosphere make this a great choice.More

You walk in and the view knocks you over. It is just spectacular. The food was delicious. And the price was more than fair. They told us to go up on the rooftop to take amazing pictures of the city. It’s our last night and…this was the perfect end.More

We chose this place for our anniversary night during our anniversary trip to PVR. We really enjoyed the whole experience: the view, food, staff, ambiance, drinks and entertainment. We would definitely recommend for a nice dinner with a spectacular view.

I’ve been to Puerto Vallarta twice and each time we make it a point to dine here. The view is amazing and the food is good. We’ve had pictures taken by the very charismatic Marisa and the service provided by Bruno has been top notch….He has prepared our table-side cesar salad and sexy coffee…two experiences that you have to request and will not disappoint.More

We took the elevator up to the seventh floor and it was lovely from the minute the doors of the elevator opened. The view is breathtaking and we were seated at a corner table for two where we could see the city, as well as…the sailboats, sunset and fireworks on the ocean. Caesar was our waiter and several staff members were extremely attentive for our whole experience. The food was very tasty. We had the caesar salad, beef stroganoff, the banana dessert and the sexxi coffee (great show) prepared at our table, as well as chicken normandie, which was prepared in the kitchen. Watching our dinner being prepared was hugely entertaining for both of us. Everything was perfect. We will definitely return on our next visit to Puerto Vallarta and we will be letting everyone at home know they have to go to The Panorama Restaurant!More

I will preface this by saying I don’t believe I’ve ever given a one star review. Please look at my older posts – I’m not a crabby patron who likes to complain about imagined issues. I’m writing this as fair warning to those considering wasting…both their hard earned money and a precious eating opportunity. When we first arrived at somewhat decrepit hotel which houses the restaurant, we felt a bit worried. The cramped waiting area, shabby and dated decor only increased our trepidation. We made a bit of fun of this but agreed the food was where the rubber hits the road, so tried to keep an open mind, especially given the many positive, and now baffling, reviews for this dump. The view is good. But it’s the only thing that is. It’s hard to describe the ambience – it was old and trashy in the 70s. Varnished spindles and railings, tin cutlery – thrift store cheap. I was fixated by the perfectness of the circle from the cigarette burn on the tablecloth. Again though, this can be overlooked if the food is great. It was not. Every meal for our party of five was either very undercooked (raw breading on shrimp, cold undercooked vegetables) or overcooked (salmon), gummy mashed potatoes, appetizers garnished with unfortunately retro tomato- roses, reminiscent of a cheap family restaurant from the 70s trying to appear classy. Wheh! That rant was cathartic. But perhaps you can sense my frustration. Covid friendly? No. Staff wore masks below their noses. There was a large cutlery bucket rooted through regularly by the staff. Not pleasant to see our waiter peel the towel off his neck before using it to clean the salad bowl before making our remarkably overdressed-caesar. My soul now feels sufficiently purged that I won’t go on to further enumerate the many failings, shortcomings and somewhat alarming health code failures of this broken tragedy of a restaurant. So if you’ve got any remaining inkling to go to El Panorama, or can’t get in anywhere else, don’t. Just don’t. Seriously, don’t be stupid.More
