Food and service is excellent! The location is soothing, particularly in the mornings when they have a live guitarist. You relax and enjoy the food and the birds chirping.
We were able to enjoy dinner at Emiliano Restaurant while staying at Velas Vallarta. What an amazing treat as usual. Food, service, and ambience were all over the top. The 3 of us, my husband my youngest son and myself, sat up on the highest…level not my usual setting but it was a different perspective. Look forward to our next dining experience there.More
Stayed at Casa Velas recently so dined at Emilianos and it was a true 5 star experience. Amazing food, drink and service exceeding most restaurants in the area. Highly recommend Emiliano’s
Stayed at Casa Velas for 7 nights so we had all our meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner at Emilianos with the exception of one evening when we went to Tau Beach Club. Every meal was superb except there was two meals that were very disappointing….One was the Rib-eye which was pretty bad and the other was the Chicken Parm which appeared over cooked and not enough sauce with it. Otherwise fantastic meals there. Service staff was awesome, personable, helpful and humorous. Shout to Edruigo for running a great show and honorable mention to Daniel, Cesar,Rosa and the rest of the staff.More
Emiliano Restaurant Dec. 18, 2021 As usual and expected we had an amazing meal at Emiliano Restaurant in Casa Velas. Repeat visit for us and a first time experience for my husband’s sister and husband. Going thru those scrolled iron gates leading into Casa Velas,…just brings me a sense of peace and tranquility. The Christmas decorations throughout were so lovely and utterly tasteful. We decided to dine inside as most were dining out. As usual we were welcomed with many welcomes and seated at a lovely table on the first level. Covid protocol was very good with mask use by all staff at all times, gel use and menus by scanning via phones. Utensils wrapped and sealed for safety. The protocols did not effect our experience of this fine dining restaurant at all. The unusual decor of the dining room in three tiers, the amazing chandelier, the option to dine outside by candlelight. All so soothing. Our service and meals along with drinks were top shelf delicious and with total attention to detail. Presentation of foods a delight to feast your eyes on. Everyone just raved about their meals and the service. Ah, but we knew from experience how wonderful it would be. Not just a meal or service but an experience!More

Feb 29- March 5, 2020 Emiliano Restaurant Casa Velas Puerto Vallarta Beautiful atmosphere and food to delight are descriptions for Emiliano’s restaurant at Casa Velas. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, inside or outside can be obtained here. If they have enough room they also will take…reservations from people not staying at Casa Velas for dinner. The atmosphere is colonial old school elegance, white linen tablecloths with amazing carved wood chairs. In three levels or tiers with a beautiful chandelier, tropical-inspired, above, a sight to behold. Glass wood-trimmed doors lead into the restaurant or you can dine outside by candlelight, next to the Koi ponds and overlooking the beautiful pool on sight. Inside has Air conditioning of course. Many nights they a live piano player, sax player or even a presentation by mariachis. The menu also varies with themed menus or a la carte, options, mix and match, however, you like. The staff are so pleasant, welcoming and friendly but not obtrusive. A relaxing pace and ambience take you back to the old world, where the delight of the night is dining in a relaxed, stunning atmosphere with amazing food. We had such wonders as Pacific Wontons filled with shrimp and Thai veggies served with avocado and jalapeño dip, Apple lettuce salad with walnuts, strawberries and a grapefruit dressing, Creamy duck confit wontons with mango & orange chutney and Osso Bucco chicken with potato wedges. Vallarta Ceviche, peach salad with goat cheese, beets and pistachio granulate. Grilled octopus with green seed piping and mashed potatoes. Rack of Lamb, white beans in an old-style mustard sauce. Red Berry Cheesecake, beautifully presented and oh so yummy. Citrus Creme and crumble pie with sherbet. As well as, roasted tomato tortilla soup that was quite different and very good. Braised short rib with sweet potato puree, tortilla drizzle, crispy corn and capers and seasoned mushrooms. Surf and Turf with scallops, shrimp and tenderloin that was delicious. A Leek and champagne cream soup with brie cheese and green oil and a Miso soup with Shitake mushrooms both were excellent. One of my favorites for an appetizer was the burgundy style snails with toasted peanut bread and Fine Herb marinated Salmon with white beans and Anise Sauce along with glazed veggies. We just had so many delicious appetizers, salads, soups, entrees it is astounding. The service was always excellent and food delicious with some really yummy desserts as well. Portions are small, gourmet, but you can have as many of whatever you choose and if you order a salad, appetizer, entree and dessert along with chef’s complement it is quite a bit especially if you partake of the rolls before dinner. I have always enjoyed all my meals here and highly recommend it to all. A fine-dining treat with high-quality food and white-glove service as well.More

Emiliano is the house restaurant at this resort. There is a base menu for each meal and a rotating specialty menu for each night. The food is exquisite! The service leaves much to be desired as a whole. This is a low occupancy resort and…highly touted for its service. However, in March of 2020, it must be in transition or perhaps its regular staff is on holiday. Bernardino and Jose seem to be the most seasoned of the staff and are clear bright spots in the dining room, as is the hostess. The rest are in great need of training. There is a lack of attentiveness (for example water and wine glasses sitting empty, missed orders, etc.). Also, there was a change during our stay specific to the dining room — they would not leave the wine bottle on or near the table. I have never experienced this before in many years of all-inclusive vacationing. Again, the variety, quality and portioning of the meals is excellent, but the restaurant is slim on experience wait staff and the back up crew needs training.More

Serene atmosphere, excellent service, very artistic food presentation, small portions, dress code. Make sure you secure a reservation before you get there. We arrived at the hotel at 5 ish, having not eaten since breakfast and had to wait until 8:30 to eat, even though…we walked by the restaurant several times and it was not full. We learned our lesson and got the concierge to make our reservations for the rest of the week.More

Emiliano is easily the best all-inclusive dining experience I have had while traveling. As with just about anything there is some room for improvement, but you will not be disappointed, especially if you have purchased other all-inclusive packages before. The all-inclusive price is expensive, but…they do their utmost to make sure you are happy. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and you have both indoor and outdoor seating options. Breakfast is served as a buffet and this will be the main offering, but you can request to order from the menu as well. Dinner each night will feature the same base menu every day, but also has a rotating feature like “Tour of Mexico” or “Pacific Night.” The ambiance is very relaxed and friendly, but they do require long pants, collared shirt and closed-toe shoes for men at dinner. Portions are generous and the quality of food is quite good. The prices they list are far higher than I would ever pay in a standalone restaurant, but perhaps that is to make guests feel better about the all-inclusive fee. The service (especially for dinner) moves slowly, but this is not necessarily a bad thing. You will not be rushed at all, but plan accordingly if you have something to do later at night. We have had a number of times when the food or drink that was delivered did not match what we ordered, but the staff was happy to make the correction. Overall quite nice, but would not eat here unless part of the all-inclusive package as there are many better (and far more affordable) restaurants in the area.More

Emiliano has an incredible atmosphere and is completely relaxed. Service is prompt and very professional. It’s very quiet being on a golf course but the odd airplane would fly by and isn’t a big problem especially if you’re sitting inside. Highly suggest asking for the…Shrimp burrito at lunch, short ribs or Salmon dish for dinner. Also suggest at the Casa Velas Beach Club for Paella night. It was the best meal of the week.More

Sept. 17, 2019 Emiliano’s Restaurant PV Four of us enjoyed an absolutely delicious tasting menu at Emiliano’s Restaurant at Casa Velas. The environment and old-world charm of this tiered restaurant with indoor or outdoor seating just make you feel so special. Then add the incredible…and unpretentious but fabulous service and you are in for an amazing dinner. We started by taking some photos in the outdoor lobby lounge with the manager of the resort, then onto the restaurant. Rodolfo, the new manager who previously worked at Grand Velas, graciously welcomed us back as my husband and I have been many times but the 2 other family members had not. They have a new chef, who introduced himself and presented many of our dishes in our array of courses. Chef Miguel was very pleasant and knowledgeable in his presentation of the dishes. You could tell he took great pride in what he was preparing for us. Bernadino and many other waiters took very special care of us. All 4 of us would return and even our mother to be, who had a restrictive diet and taste bud issues would return and loved the food she could partake of along with the ambience. They did try to bring her different options and fulfill her wants and needs. She left happy. We had such things as Ravioli with jicama, avocado and shrimp salad which was absolutely amazing. Salmon cubes marinated in mezcal, lemon zest and mint sauce. Quite an interesting, delightful array of flavors. Carpaccio with pistachios, quinoa in a curry sauce. Again wow! The Octopus with shrimp, rice and calamari was yummy. Passion fruit sorbet, a delicacy for sure. Beef, carrots, mashed potatoes, & asparagus were cooked to perfection. The dessert was a Mango Mousse on cookie crumbs, but one of us, not a mango lover had the cheesecake and she raved of it. So the waiters brought her another. Everything was presented and plated perfectly and just beautiful and mouthwatering. Small portions as again a tasting menu but added all together just the right amount of food to be full but not absolutely stuffed. The waiters and chef go out of their way to suit your wants, never hesitate to ask if they can change something as it is stated on the menu or given to you, they aim to please. After dinner Christian did a live Spanish coffee presentation that was fabulous. Of course, it is coffee, brandy and Kahlua, whipped cream a cherry and flames galore then wrapped elegantly in a napkin to avoid the heat and any stickiness. As usual, our meal was amazing and a treat to our taste buds. My husband and I are already booked for a stay at Casa Velas in February 2020, so we will have lots more foodie thoughts to share but this meal was a definite hit with our party. Yes, the drinks were also top shelf and amazing. No doubt we will be back. The restaurant is open to the public with reservations if they have room. Might I add this is an adult-only resort and restaurant!! I almost forgot to mention there was a live piano player to add to the ambience, though I do find with poor acoustics in cement buildings a toning down of volume would be good for dining conversation.More
