Best calamari ever. I will not eat this anywhere else in Vallarta. Probably anywhere. Super high quality ingredients prepared with skill and care. Go. You won’t be sorry. Oh yeah.. the fresh pasta was incredible too. Hidden gem.
Delicious authentic tasting Italian food. This place is a gem. My small feedback would be not to add dill to the tomato sauce. Once it was overbearing. Second time it was more mild. Regardless though, it just doesn’t taste good in pasta sauce.
Been hearing some great praise for Il Pesce. Was anxious to try it. Our orders of Clam Linguine, Shrimp fettuccine, mushroom truffle pasta and shrimp with pesto. All outstanding. The appetizer of calamari fritta was incredible. Light and crispy. One of the best we had…anywhere. Service very good. Wine list is reasonable. Small place, fills up quick so reservations are recommended. A very good seafood/pasta restaurant. Will definitely be back.More
This restaurant was absolutely amazing!!! The owner was so excited & passionate about his dishes and you could tell he truly wanted the best experience for his customers. The shrimp bruschetta appetizer was to die for and the mushroom truffle pasta was probably the best…pasta I have ever eaten at a restaurant! We were too full to try the chocolate cake but we will be back for that for sure! Do NOT miss this place when you are in PV!!More
We have dined at Pesce three times – and each time the food was amazing and the service, exquisite. The salads, the fish, the pasta are all perfect. Even the water from Tuscany is incredible!
Had a delicious authentic meal here our last night in town. The chef was extremely friendly and passionate and his food was equally enjoyable. The pasta and seafood were very fresh. Highly recommend this spot.
This is my favorite authentic Italian restaurant in Puerto Vallarta. Their pastas are made in-house. They have beautiful tasty salads. The seared tuna entrée is my favorite dish. Service is impeccable!
My fear in writing an outstanding review is that this hidden gem will become so popular that I will be unable to get a table next time I visit PV! The meal and service at this small, quaint restaurant were impeccable. I was in the…mood for seafood pasta. I could not have imagined a better dish. It was light, fresh, flavorful and filled with various delicious seafood: calamari, shrimp, mussels, clams, and octopus. My friend got the pesto pistachio dish with lemon shrimp. The portions were large, and everything was extremely reasonably priced. We had a great selection of wine and were treated to a small pineapple basil sorbet.as a dessert. This is not a fancy place, but it serves five star meals in a friendly, quaint atmosphere. I’ve been to a number of Italian places in PV. This is, by far, the best.More
I went twice in one trip, I love this place! The staff is incredible and the dishes are super fresh and delicious.
Lovely little restaurant with great service and food. The calamari was crisp and hot with just the right amount of light batter and the pastas were inventive, flavourful and we’ll prepared. Highly recommend!
My husband and I ate at Il Pesce tonight. The food is fabulous, each detail is so thoughtful and the flavours are truly amazing! We will go back again and again, a new favourite for sure. The owners are passionate about their food and we…enjoyed getting to know them. You won’t be disappointed!More
Ate at il Pesce tonight! Fabulous food and great service. Has the pistachio pesto with shrimp was fabulous! The caprese salad was wonderful and loved every bite! Highly recommend this small great service restaurant! Please join us for a great meal.
I ate here for the first time several nights ago. I was torn between the Linguine with Clams and the Three Funghi pasta. I had the linguine and it was great. So I went back tonight to have the other dish. It was superb! I…couldn’t recommend this restaurant highly enough!More
2-07-22 Perfecto !!!!!!! My second visit and again, another memorable dinner . Wine selection : Etnia Pinot Griggio Both were crisp, light w/hint of apple. I lean more towards the Etina. Calamari Fritti : lightly battered & crispy . Aglioli dipping sauce was a great…compliment. Three mushrooms cream of pappadelle pasta with truffle oil . Amazing combination. Affogato : expresso with vanilla gelato !!!!!!! Need I say more Thank you Willie for your professional service and patience.More
Had dinner there last night with friends. We split a caprese salad and fried calamari. The calamari was perfectly prepared. Lightly battered and very tender. I had the pasta with clams in white wine. Delicious! Others had the pasta with pistachio pesto and one had…the pasta with multiple mushroom sauce. We all loved it. Inexpensive wines and the whole bill was dirt cheap. This one is a winner.More
