Fast service and great food. Chips and salsa came right away (compliments of the restaurant). Guacamole was freshly made and delicious. We had jumbo shrimp that came with rice and a lovely green salad. About $30 American for guacamole, two beers and two dinners. Definitely…got out money’s worth.More
We came back since our experience a few months ago was great! We ate cumplido de camarón which was really good, then we had the ceviche mediterráneo which was amazing and at the end… as delicious as I remember, the sashimi Vicencio! Great place to…eat and fantastic service, se once it’s an open place I recommend to go a little late because of the heatMore
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Juan Tiburon, we were a little worried when we arrived because the restaurant was completely empty so we thought maybe they were closed? it was about 7:45 PM. We asked and they said they were open, so we came…in. As soon as we sat down we were ready to order our Fish Ceviche and we were so sad when they told us the ceviche was gone and they only had shrimp ceviche. It turns out that this is more of a lunch place, so if you are going, head there for lunch so you don’t miss out on all of the delicious options. We still had the shrimp and it was so good we ordered a 2nd round of it, the condiments were also Amazing and the beer was ice cold. The service was top notch and Eduardo and Esteban took good care of us as well as other staffers that were very attentive to making sure nothing was dirty or left behind on our table while we made a mess savoring every bite of the shrimp ceviche. Next time we are in town we will make sure to get there earlier. And I want to add that the pricing is amazing for what you get. Thank you, Juan Tiburon!!!More
I visited this place for dinner. I’m surprised that they already have a dinner menu. I ordered a delicious New York steak with puree and vegetables. The service was excellent. The waiter Lalo is very professional.
We were in the general area, and were looking for a good restaurant to go to. We should’ve stayed in the center of El Petillo, but decided to walk almost 2 miles to this pretty highly rated place. The walk was good, but the experience…at the place wasn’t. I should say that the staff – Edoardo the waiter and others – were all very professional. The food was not even mediocre. Many of the reviews talked about the coconut shrimp which we ordered and which was, to use a NY term, blech, nowhere near good. The coconut covering was undercooked and the shrimp itself had no flavor. We also ordered a grilled fish plate. The garlic had a burned flavor and the fish itself was barely mediocre. The only good thing was the tuna ceviche, which was fresh and light and left us wanting more. Sorry to write such a disappointing review, after all, we did walk 2 miles to get there, but what we had certainly would not bring us back.More
Amazing coconut shrimp. Friendly service, great food. Good prices too. I came before and had the regular shrimp dish and it was great too.
Service was great. Restaurant clean. (Street noise might be only negative.) We had an order of bacon wrapped shrimp and coconut shrimp. Both excellent! Esteban was great.
The food at this place was not good. We will not go there again to eat. We were extremely thinking we would love this….that was completely different.
Great Ceviche, fresh and interesting ingredients, we enjoyed our meal here. In a nice neighborhood of PV a bit off tourist route, but easy to get to.
We’ve eaten twice atJuanTiburon on this visit to Puerto Vallarta and been extremely pleased with the fresh and delicious sea food! There are many seasoning options that are so tasty and portions are generous. All for very affordable prices! Our waiter,Esteban took care of our…every need. Be sure not to miss this fantastic restaurant that so well attends to every detail. You’ll too want to go back for a repeat visit!More
Small little place, with excellent seafood! It had a limited menu, which I find means they always do it right. I had the garlic jumbo shrimp and shared a tuna ceviche with my friend. Loved both, and will be back. The service from Esteban and…Eduardo was great as well. 2 thumbs up!More
Our first time here, definitely not our last. The Ceviche de Atún was so fresh and full of flavor. It may have been the best we have ever had. We also ordered a shrimp cocktail and guacamole, both equally as fresh and tasty. Drinks were…good and and everything was reasonably priced. Our server, Estaban, was so friendly and helpful. We met one of the owners and she was so very welcoming. We really adored this family run, neighborhood gem. We will be back again and again.More
Came with a family dinner, I liked everything very much, it was very tasty and not so expensive, I advise you to visit this place. special thanks to Esteban
This is the type of place you come to Puerto Vallarta for: delicious and fresh aguachile, ceviche, tostadas and ice cold beer. Unlike the tourist traps you’ll find close to the water, this place is legit. Angel gave us excellent service and made us feel…welcome. We will return.More
Very good service. We were served by the waiter Mesero Angel, everything was good. Very good place to eat.
