We really enjoyed our meal at Maximilians. Luis, our server was fantastic and the food was very good. The owner Andreas stopped by to see how everything was!
One of those restaurants with an enormous menu and everything is well done. The chef can cook, the servers know how to serve.
We’ve been coming to PVR for a LONG time and we eat here every time. Jesus, the lead waiter, has been outstanding throughout the years and the food is always consistent. The French Onion soup is quite good.
Had breakfast three mornings here I liked it so well. Great food, service and people watching. The bread was by far the best I’ve had in Puerto Vallarta.

We walked by and decided to grab a couple of espressos to go, and they were very generous! We added Baileys to make the experience even better. Would definitely visit again for a full dining experience as the staff was very pleasant and friendly -…they taught us some spanish words when we asked and were patient in pronunciation etc.More
This is our first visit to Puerto Vallarta, we have been here a week. This evening will be our third time dining at Kaiser Maximilian. Although there are many wonderful restaurants here, Kaiser Maximilian is by far our favorite, the atmosphere, the service, the food,…everything is very special. We have tried the Caesar salad, beet salad, creamy mushroom ravioli, calamari with squash purée, scallop entree, catch of the day and a couple wines by the glass. Everything was spot on. We can’t wait to see what dining experience awaits us tonight. All of the servers seem to be attentive and professional. Both times our server has been Jesus, we feel honoured to have met him.More
Be prepared for a shoes and shirts place. Very refined. Good service. The food was well described, well made and the service was very good.
Another incredible meal with Jesus—world’s best waiter and wonderful person. Sea bass excellent. Beef with sauce super. Always good food with excellent service. Don’t miss it when in PV.
We visited twice for breakfast during our stay in PV. The service was great and food was excellent. We loved the home maid jams at the start of breakfast. We felt the prices were very reasonable too for the high level of quality and service.
First time to Puerto Vallarta and after eating at many restaurants which all had good food. This place surpassed our expectations! Professional and courteous !! Trying to decide on the many choices for our 32 anniversary, Luis suggestion were perfect!!! From the main meal to…dessert!! Mouth watering great food!!! Both meals just under $100 Canadian. There was no way I could not give a healthy tip with Luis service and the top quality from the chef!! Top notch service!! This is one place we will return to on our return trip. Will be trying breakfast and lunch next time as well!! It was worth the 20 minute walk from our hotel !! !! What an exquisite meal. My father and I booked a table and we were the only people in the restaurant for awhile, which I guess is understandable for a visit to PV outside of the high season. The service was wonderful and it was such…a charming place. We started with the onion soup and crab cake, which were both divine. For our mains, we ordered weinerschnitzel and scallops and, again, both dishes were amazing. I loved the presentation of the dishes, right down to the gorgeous butter shaped as flowers accompanying our bread. Lovely wine list too. We look forward to returning.More
I try to dine here with every trip to Puerto Vallarta. This is a small restaurant with Old World Charm. Attentive waiters, excellent food at a good value. I had crepes with poached pear and a Latte for breakfast, wonderful!
We look forward visiting KM espresso bar when ever we are vacationing in PV. We have eaten here several times. It is are go to for a delicious breakfast and the best expreso doble! My husband is a big espresso guy and he gives it…a thumbs up! Service is top notch! Jesus is AWESOME and always provides excellent service! He always remembers us and even remembers our usual drink order! It is a perfect breakfast spot for us. We love sitting outside and people watching while we enjoy our meal. After reading reviews we think we maybe missing out and will have to try it for dinner on our next visit coming up very soon. We recommend and will keep coming back!More
Wow wow and wow Excellent service and Excellent cuisine. portions are perfect and it was a wonderful experience for us to enjoy. Out server Jesus was up to the challenge with us foodies that love to try anything new. Highly recommend the duck confit tacos…in mole. Yum!!! The beet salad was delicious and the crap cakes were at another level. We sampled several dishes and non disappointed!!More
