We ordered take out here and it was fantastic. Had the gnocchi and pizza and they were both to die for. The price was a bargain too! While I waited for my order, they served me a Corona while I sat on the steps out…front and people watched. It will be my go-to Italian restaurant while in PV from now on.More
Great quality of dishes that I did not expected in PV. Chef knows the real Italian foods here, service is good as well, definitely coming back.
Love this place. Tried various pizzas and gnocchi. Always very good. Lately “discovered” their Fortuna, half pizza/half calzone. Piping hot (the way it should be) and beyond delicious. The place gets very busy around sunset time, so plan to go earlier or later, if you…would like to avoid the wait time.More
Always feel welcome(even when making last minute requests). This is a MUST for locals and visitors. Fabulous Italian food(pastas, pizzas, appetizers) and friendly enthusiastic reception and service. Ali and Agostino are long time friends at this point as we have been coming to their restaurant…for years.More
Been a long time customer. Always take visitors, they always love it and look forward to their return. Beautiful thin crust pizza, fresh fettuccini – you can’t go wrong. And reasonably priced. Do not go for the atmosphere as it is on a busy street….Go for the food!More
I just ate here yesterday. I was referred by Ivan at Garlads del Rio Hotel just around the corner and I was not dsappointed! You can actually WATCH them making the fresh pasta! I told them in my broken Spanish that I wanted pasta with…a lot of cheese. So they gave me quattro fromaggio gnocchi with fresh out of the oven homemade bread. It was absolutely divine! Plenty of food, too. I had the rest for breakfast! Their red sauce is homemade as well and looked soooooo good. That’s next on my list! The staff were all so nice, patient with my Spanish and friendly knowing I was there alone. This place is the best of everything. One note: It’s hard to see, so look for Santander Bank (large red sign) and it’s to the right of it. Buon appettito!More
The food here is amazing, whether you order pasta or pizza you will not be disappointed! This is the best Italian food in Puerto Vallarta! The service was great, they were very busy but that did not deter them from giving excellent service. We had…the antipasto with burrata cheese which was excellent, wine from Montepulciano, and a mixture of pasta and pizza. The linguine mare mare is my favorite. We will be back !More
We literally dine at L’Angolo’s weekly. Best pizza in town. Vegetarian with Sausage and Teresita pizzas are our favorites. Love their Parmigiana pasta dish too. Their staff always treats us like their family.
In one week we visited 3 times for dinner having a different dish each time – except I had to have the fettucine ragu twice – wish I could have it for dinner tonite !!! Food was outstanding, service was outstanding – the managers were…warm and welcoming – visiting each table to say hello and ask how the meals were. Do not miss a chance to have a meal here – the best Italian outside of Rome.More
We come here every year at least twice during our two week vacation. This time we had the carbonara and a fettuccine/mushroom/sausage pasta….both excellent!! We will be back next week for pizza!
We ordered a pepperoni pizza to share and it was excellent! We should have ordered another. Dining was outside and it was quite warm. Would order to go next time.
Who knew you don’t have to travel around the world for incredible pizza? It’s right here in PV. We had read the other reviews and decided to try it for ourselves. Angelo di Napoli’s pizza is the real thing. Owned by a couple from Rome…who know how to make some incredible pizzas. We had a meat lovers one that was loaded with sausage, ham, salami & pepperoni. Plus we added fresh mozzarella. Just the right amount of sauce and a well done crust. Just writing about it is making me hungry for more. Their pastas, fresh burrata and mozzarella with tomatoes looking yummy. Will try some of them when we return for another outstanding meal. Also the wait staff is top notch!More
New faces here this visit. The brother/owners weren’t there. Pizza was good. The pasta had a very watery thin sauce like the pasta had not been drained properly. We would probably give it another try next visit in PV.
Everything was homemade and delicious, from the bread in the bruschetta to the pizza, pasta, tiramisu and limoncello. The service was great, personable and welcoming. We’d come back time and time again.
This place hit all the right buttons. Authentic Italian pizza, woodfire of course and real flavours. The menu has everything you would want and the service was superb. All staff were very friendly, happy people, extremely accommodating and a great atmosphere – only 30 seconds…from the waterfront. 10/10 from me!More
