We did an all inclusive package through the Marriot. This gave us access to 5-6 restaurants on the resort. Although we tried several of the other restaurants (all of which were good), we decided to eat at Las Casitas every day, most days multiple times…for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacksdrinks throughout the afternoon. The food was the best on the resort! Cannot say enough about how delicious every meal was. Another reason we decided to come back every day was due to the outstanding service we received. Our waiter, Miguel, was there for breakfast and lunch the entire week we were in Puerto Vallarta. To say he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome would be an understatemet. By the second meal, he already had our drink preferences ordered before we sat down and knew our names, where we were from, our occupation, etc. after one conversation and remembered that information at each subsequent visit. This really made us feel welcome and not “just another guest”. I know he probably makes the majority of his salary through tips, but I hope Warren (the manager of the resort –– who was also very welcoming and kind) sees this post and gives Miguel a much needed raise. Regardless, I hope Miguel sees this post and knows how much he made a family from Oklahoma feel welcome. We will certainly return and hope to have the chance to speak with our friend Miguel. -MichaelMore

Couldn’t say enough about our experience at Las Casitas. Ate there multiple times a day on our stay and they never disappointed. Second time we went back Miguel remembered our drink and meal orders and asked if we wanted the same. Talk about going above…and beyond. He for sure is the best! Super genuine and I crave those shrimp tacos daily since leaving.More

We checked in to the hotel at 5:30 PM and were hungry, so we went straight to Las Casitas for dinner. I ordered sea bass. It had an incredibly strong “fishy” taste which is unusual for sea bass. I couldn’t eat it, but also did…not want to be difficult and did not say anything. Instead, I just shared my husbands entree (chicken). Within six hours, I had chills, fever, cramping, and other disgusting symptoms I’ll omit that Immodium could not seem to control. I eventually needed to hire a doctor and pay for prescriptions to get over it. Not a good way to start a vacation! We were hesitant to return.More

On Wednesday 27 April 3 of us went to this restaurant for lunch. We ordered the beef nachos, fish tacos, chicken enchilada and a fish sandwich. The person who ate the fish tacos experienced nausea followed by diarrhea the next day. My chicken enchilada was…terrible..the chicken was dry and stringy and I only ate 2 mouthfuls. I experienced stomach pains for 24 hours followed by diarrhea. The person who ordered the fish sandwich ate 2 mouthfuls and left the rest including the fries. He said it was inedible. The waiter did not come back to enquire about the food or if we needed anything. We sat at a dirty table surrounded by barely touched meals for 10 minutes while the waiter put tablecloths on surrounding tables. All 3 of us had flights back to the US the following afternoon which was most unpleasant. This would easily be the worst dining experience in our 5 day vacation in PV.More

We enjoyed dinner at this restaurant. It is located at the Marriott Puerto Vallarta. The restaurant is open air with views of the ocean and the swimming pool. Reception staff were pleasant and efficient. We were seated as soon as our reservation was confirmed. Wait…staff were friendly and attentive. Chips and bread were served while We were waiting for our cocktails. We started with seafood and beef tacos. The chunks of lobster meat and rib eye were delicious. The salad with fried goat cheese was fresh and tasty. Mains were short rib pasta and seafood pasta. Both dishes were excellent. The seafood and meat were tender and sweet. Pasta was cooked al dente. Benjamin and the team of wait staff checked on us throughout the meal. They cleared dishes as needed. Great food and service plus a bonus awesome sunset. A relaxing casual dinner.More

We were a group of 8 adults with reservations for a 1pm lunch. The ambiance (great ocean side location) is fabulous, the service is good but that’s where it stops! The QR code for the menu is literally a freaking pain!! The tiniest of print…takes forever to decipher, big annoyance. The food is less than stellar, we were hoping to have a filling lunch but it’s barely mediocre, and for the price one would hope for something much better! Most of us had the fish or shrimp tacos, they were a noticeable smallish portion (I’m comparing it to any restaurant along the Bay of Banderas), very disappointing, in fact after lunch we went for drinks at the Marina and ordered some additional appetizers! We will have no reason to return and I recommend looking for other lunch venues. And if the management wants to respond with a typical ‘corporate managerial response’, save your breath and actually go out and see what good restaurants serve, then make changes!More

We ate here about four times during our visit and did not regret a single one. We loved the Seabass as well as the shrimp tacos and the grilled shrimp entrée. The shrimp bisque was also delicious. As well as the food, the service is…exceptional. Particularly Benjamin always took excellent care of us and went above and beyond to make us feel special during our stay. We were also visiting during my birthday and he made sure to make that particularly special. He is exceptional. The view from this restaurant is also amazing especially around sunset.
