We were able to sit on the rooftop patio, which was so pretty. They had a live musician as well. The food was a unique blend of flavors. We had a great experience!
My mom, brother, and I visited Layla’s for lunch on a whim when we first arrived in PV. Our food was delicious, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and I only wish we had had a chance to return for another meal! Until next time.
The food was great. The fried oysters were wonderful! The pork shank was tender and flavorful. The service was attentive and the servers brought us a couple of cute complimentary shot size drinks. We went on a Thursday and there was a guitarist with a…beautiful voice providing background music.More
The food was homemade and portions were large – the chilaquiles were exceptional. It was clean and cool inside.
Layla’s is always our first meal when arriving in PVR. This year we went twice. Our first evening we ordered guacamole made tableside, the Mexican caprese salad, and the pork shank. The portions are generous to a fault, the flavors of the guac and salad…were bright and fresh, the pork smoky and rich. The second evening we had the spicy Caesar salad and Arabian Delights sampler plate. The salad dressing is wonderfully garlicky and the croutons are little bites of fried cheese. The chicken and lamb kebobs are tender and well-seasoned. The service is unfailingly friendly and attentive. And there are lovely, unexpected, flourishes that make the experience elegant and even more fun.More
Tonight my husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Layla’s. We chose this restaurant because of the TripAdvisor reviews. Thank you to the reviewers, it was fantastic and very good for the money as the saying goes. We only wish we had found…it earlier in our stay. We will return tomorrow night as it is our last night of a 16 night stay in Puerto Vallarta. The food, ambiance, and service were top notch. My husband had a shrimp/steak fajitas dish, I, the Arabian platter. The plates were plentiful, the quality perfecto.More
A brand new experience tonight at Laylas. Laylas has been a favorite of ours for several years. We are locals and have our choices of many places to dine. Tonight was the first time at Laylas since they added Arabic food to the menus. It…was in addition to their Mexican and Mediterranean menus a delightful surprise. We shared the Seabass And it was wonderful.More
We enjoyed two visits to Layla’s on our recent trip to PV. The food is excellent—fresh ingredients prepared with delicious flavor and beautiful presentation. The menu for both lunch and dinner offer some unique choices and we found them delightful. Service was outstanding and the…ambiance is inviting. I highly recommend Layla’s when visiting PV as the location is just north of the Malecon.More
Glad we stopped here to eat dinner. Service was great the right mix of checking on us but not to much and not to little. The food was great. Really well seasoned, tender, cooked well, and right portion. Check this restaurant out if your looking…for something to eat and cannot decide where to go.More
My husband and came here because of the reviews I read while looking for a restaurant out of the hotel. I knew what I wanted before I got there based on reviews and pictures. I had the sticky ribs and the pork shank, they were…both delicious!! My husband had the tequila shrimp and he said it was best meal he had had this whole trip. My hotel must have called ahead to let them know we were celebrating our anniversary, because they brought us dessert and congratulations! They were all so wonderful. Please visit this wonderful restaurant!More
Food and service by Cruz were all excellent..shared fried oysters and caprese salad..wife loved the Seabass special and I had the flank steak. Malbec and Pinot G by the glass. The view of the town and Banderas Bay from our 4th floor corner table were…breathtaking. Bit of a climb up the stairs but well worth it. great value by NA standards but our most expensive meal of the week. Very friendly welcoming spot and they accept credit cardsMore
Such a quaint colorful little place with excellent service and food at very reasonable prices. The chef even customized my dish to my liking, which is so appreciated from a fussy eater. Highly recommend!!
Isabel and her staff show what happens when friendly Mexican hospitalty and great food come together! This is the first restaurant I visited on my recent trip( I read a fabulous review) and I returned more than a dozen times over my four weeks there….As a solo, on dates, and with family. Everyone agreed that this place is a winner in every way! The dinners are devine, as are the breakfasts and lunches. The shrimp, and the ribs are standouts….and the pancakes are heavenly! The chef even makes his rounds to make sure your meal is to your liking….he is quite the character! A palate cleanser and an after dinner homemade shot are given “on the house”…and part of the most pleasant experience! I fully encourage you all to try this place, and I bet you will return as I did. When I go back to PV( and I will) this will be a must!More
We were looking for a place for lunch and happened upon Layla’s. What a terrific experience. Sat upstairs on the adorable little patio. Service was perfect, even set me up with wifi. We both had the Pollo Barracha. This sandwich came hot on a perfectly…toasted roll. The chicken was flavorful and tender..just a perfect sandwich. The fries on the side were unlike any I have ever had. A little tang with a generous amount of seasoning – I’d go back just to have the fries. Very reasonable price point for our sandwiches. Highly recommend. We’ll go back.More
A new find for us after coming to PV the past 8-10 years. And a wonderful find. One must make your way up four flights of stairs to the balcony. Caution stars are winding and fire escape like metal. The view from the balcony, once…you arrive, is worth the trip and the food prep and sauces are superb. The wait staff, and the visit from the chef, are an added touch. I would recommend you visit Layla’s for the view and the cuisine.More
