A quaint restaurant with fresh, delicious seafood. Location wise it’s off the beaten path but so worth the trip. Huge portions and very delicious. I had the garlic butter shrimp and it was the best I’ve ever had in Puerto Vallarta over the years. Great…friendly service with a family feel. I’d definitely go back again.More

Freshest seafood we’ve had. We’ve been coming to Puerto Vallarta for well over 30 years, so we’ve been to a lot of restaurants. Nothing fancy, but great ingredients don’t need to be doctored with flavorings. Inexpensive and very very good. Basic, a bit of a…walk from the tourist places on the Malecon, but well worth it. Mucho gusto!!!More

Small and personall. Outstanding sea food plate. Far more than worth the extra few yards from the mass catering on Bodillo,

This small, corner family owned restaurant specializes in shrimp and it’s special. Excellent taste, excellent size servings, excellent service, fair prices. Two wonderful shrimp entrees including rice and perfectly cooked vegetables along with 4 glasses of good vino for $55. Get their before 6;30 or…wait. Cash only. Enjoy some really good shrimp.More

Oh my goodness! We waited in line for about 30 minutes, visiting with the folks just in front of us. They said, “You will not be disappointed.” They were right! The menu is extensive, making it difficult to choose. Our shrimp was cooked to perfection,…the rice and fresh vegetables were well-seasoned, and there was plenty of food on our plates. We thought this was a hidden gem, but no! It’s quite popular and I can see why. The family lives above the kitchen, and I’ll bet they fall into bed at the end of the day – they work hard! The tables are on the covered sidewalk outside. If you are seated before 8:00, they’ll serve you, but we saw disappointed people be turned away at 7:50 (no tables were going to be vacated within the next ten minutes).More

My friend, an expat, introduced me to this place. He told me he comes here 3 to 4 times a week. You might have some difficulty finding this restaurant but it’s well worth the effort. You’ll be rewarded with some the best Mexican seafood dishes…PV has to offer. I was fortunate enough to dine here twice during my one-week visit. There are about 6 tables situated on the sidewalk tucked away behind tropical foliage. If you’re lucky, you’ll might sit right in front of the open-air kitchen which is actually the owners house. On my first visit, we had lunch, so I ordered tacos, one octopus and one shrimp. At 45 pesos each, they were delicious! My beverage was listed on the menu as “fruit water” which was actually hibiscus. The evening before I departed PV we went again for dinner (6 pm). A small line had formed and we waited about ten minutes to be seated. I overheard a man raving about the seafood soup, so I had to order it. I began my meal with one octopus and one marlin tostada (45 pesos each). Each were a hearty portions and both were very tasty. The octopus was especially tender and I suspect it was caught that same day. The soup followed in a large bowl. It was chock-full of shrimp, mussels, white fish, and octopus in a savory broth that was amazing. The centerpiece of this dish was crab claw accompanied by a cracker utensil. I washed down my meal with ice cold beer. They only serve two brands, Pacifica and Corona served in pony bottles. The small bottles are used to ensure it’s always cold. In my opinion, this is one of the best restaurants in Puerto Vallarta. I would probably eat there every day if I lived in PV!More

This place needs 6/5 rating, it’s so good! I have been here twice now and have enjoyed both experiences thouroughly! First visit my table had fish tacos, shrimp empanadas, and a mixta burrito. All came out the kitchen window piping hot with the freshest seafoods…stuffed to the max. The burrito was massive with octopus, smoked marlin, and shrimps! The second visit we also had fish tacos, but also ordered a medium seafood cocktail and the Vallarta shrimp (bacon and ham wrapped with cheese, omg!). The seafood cocktail was huge for a medium and a bargain at around 120 pesos. The Vallarta shrimp were giant, stuffed with rich cheese and wrapped with bacon. I’m salivating thinking about the food as I write this review! Need to go back very soon before vacation ends.More

This is a small family run restaurant we’d heard about from a person who is always researching the best restaurants and making a list for her next visit. We sat opposite the kitchen window, on a shady vine covered sidewalk patio. My husband had the…seafood plate which was a combo of shrimp, fish, mussels and octopus. It was all cooked in a garlic butter sauce. My shrimp burrito had at least 10 perfectly cooked shrimp in just one half of it. There was no way I could eat the entire burrito, so half came home with me. Both entrees were very delicious and so cheap, we almost felt guilty, so we left an extra generous tip. Next time we are in town, it will be our first stop.More

We have officially declared the shrimp burritos here to be the BEST we have had, worldwide. There were SO many shrimp in the burritos that we lost count. Delicious. Also shared the bacon wrapped shrimp stuffed with cheese. I know, I know, they had us…at ‘bacon wrapped’, right? My mom had the avocadoes stuffed with tuna and ate more than I have seen her eat in a long time. Wow, is all I can say. Seriously, just delicious. I am already planning another shrimp burrito for later in the week.More
