This restaurant is authentic Mexican. The crab enchiladas are so good as well as the shrimp quesadillas. We got the grilled Maui Maui garlic and butter and it was fantastic. Superb rice too. The mango margarita on the rocks was really really good so we…ordered more.More
Cash only? Why? Why does a restaurant in a tourist locale only accept cash? Better food elsewhere. Difficult parking. Ownership needs to stop being cheap and allow for credit cards.
Amazing food, locals hide out. It’s bare-bones, but comfortable enough. Light and bright and open air inside with sports videos playing on multiple TVs around the room. Kind of place that looks like everything on the menu is going to be good. Service is friendly…and fast, and you will see large parties of many generation families dining there. We tried the namesake ceviche tostada and the marlin tostada, both were awesome, with the marlin being a little meatier a bit like cooked tuna. We also had the aguachiles, a marlin and cheese empanada, and the grilled octopus. So fantastic! Hard to say what I call my favorite, but since I love good grilled food I’d probably give that to the octopus. Cash only, so visit the ATM before you go.More
Although a little loud, I strongly recommend this restaurant. The food was excellent, the service very attentive and the drinks flavorful and fairly priced. I started out with a ceviche tostado. It was piled high from edge to edge with tasty ceviche covered with a…generous helping of sliced avocado and with a few dollops of a very tasty sauce that was spicy but with a hint of sweetness, it was delicious. That was followed by an order of grilled octopus that was to die for. And the portion was large enough that the leftovers were dinner the next night.More
I just never have good luck with resort food and the all-inclusive I happened to be staying at with friends this time was down right inedible. I asked one of the tour guides on the beach where the best place to find fish tacos was….Martin offered to take me here. It did not disappoint. The food was so good. The guacamole was the freshest and best tasting I’ve ever had it was so good! My crab enchiladas with chipotle sauce were delicious. So were the salsa fresca and they had the good habanero sauce. I got my food to go but the atmosphere was great. I could have definitely hung out to eat and enjoy a few Pacifico’s for a while. The service was good and the staff was friendly. It was reasonably priced. If I end up in Puerto Vallarta again I will definitely be back.More
We asked our driver from the airport where to eat and he told us this was his favorite place in the part of town where our hotel was. It was about a ten minute walk from our hotel, and absolutely worth the trip. First off,…if you eat here and skip the grilled octopus, you have done yourself a disservice and need to go back immediately and try it. It is an absolutely outstanding dish, and easily the most memorable thing I ate in PV. The menu is also full of some outstanding cheap eats – seafood tacos and tostadas for about a buck apiece – our marlin tostada came out with nearly a whole avocado sliced up on top. We also enjoyed the aguachile, which came out with tostada tortillas and saltines, and which paired really well with the bevy of hot sauces on the table. The beer was cold, and cheap by marina standards. You can stuff yourself silly here and still have plenty of money for your shopping on the Malecon later.More
Great seafood and where the locals go Hostess: Took our temperatures and then seated us quickly. Food: Great food! (1) Pulpo Asado (grilled octopus) was fantastic. (2) Filet of mahi-mahi: best we had in PV. Service: Great service Ambiance: Rustic, open-air, has a certain local…charm Overall Cleanliness: Average Bathroom cleanliness: average Value: overall good value Misc: (1) Cash only with not a great exchange rate for US Dollars (18:1). (2) Don’t be surprised if the selection of fresh fish is limited. When we ate here, only mahi-mahi was available.More
Awesome food with great taste. Seafood is he specially and my wife and I ordered 5 different things. Everything was full of flavor. Lots of sauces on the table to try. Very large place but wasn’t busy when we went for lunch Friday. Do not…miss if in the marina area.More
Ordered seafood cocktail, good and refreshing, with a ceviche tostada, light lunch… truly recommended… will visit again if back in Puerto Vallarta…
Stopped in for a late lunch. This place can get very busy, so we were happy there was no line up. Very safe in all regards of Covid protocols. Beers were cold, and meals were good. Orders of grilled shrimp, coconut shrimp and shrimp empanadas…were delicious. Our friends loved their Aquachile. Service was very good. Would love to go back and try the different seafoods they offer.More
Go here for lunch and order the Marlin tostadas and a Pacifico the moment you arrive in Puerto. Life is good here.
Stopped by for lunch, shrimp tacos and shrimp and octopus crevices, delicious. Service very good, clean , nice safety issues in place.
Back in Vallarta – and first stop has to be this wonderful place – wonderful fresh seafood , great service – highly recommended
Went for lunch this week while we were in Puerto Vallarta Husband was craving shrimp. He had a nice plate of breaded shrimp with fries and a salad. Had had fries and quesadilla. All the food was very tasty. The waiters all wore masks and…the seating was far apart. Good place to visit while down around the Marina Vallarta. Will be back.More
