The three shrimp and Mahi Mahi were delicious. And the service was quick and very friendly! What a great little find, just a couple blocks off the malicon.
This little family-owned ,out of the way restaurant has some of the best seafood you’ll find in PV….and the Cadillac margarita made with their house made personal tequila is “muy fuerte”. Fresh, delicious seafood. The red snapper is a must!
I am recognizing that Trip Advisor reviews tend to be very high if English is spoken. that seems to explain the ratings here. The staff are very friendly and English speaking. the food is cheap but the boring. The decor is depressing. Value is good…but the mango Mahi Mahi was very well cooked– not dry– but not interesting at all. the mango margaritas are the same price as at my hotel but much less tasty– no tajin on the rim. They seem to cater towards tourists who don’t like seasoned food.More
A quaint little restaurant with great food and friendly staff. A must eat at place in PV. The Mahi Mahi is to die for!
This restaurant belongs to a friend’s brother. The food is excellent and a great price point for the area, the service is first rate with a personal touch from the owners. Make this place a priority when you visit Puerto Vallarta.
Jorge (father), Melissa (mother) and Diego (son) have a real gem in Vallarta. So friendly, all speak English, all are engaging and accommodating and their food is fresh and delish! We usually get fresh seabass or mahi and/or one of their shrimp dishes. They also…have authentic, home-made tequila that their relative in Guadalajara distills and bottles…highly recommend trying a margarita or better still, a shot of their blanco or reposado! Tell them that Estéban sent you:)More
First time to visit this place. Delightful casual ambience and hospitality from owners. I highly recommend the avocado with shrimp appetizer. My wife enjoyed the “three seasons shrimp” medley, and I had my old standby Mahi Al mojo de ajo sauce. Great drinks, not watered…down, during the happy hour.More
We ate here a few times on our last trip and will definitely be back, nice sized portion the coconut shrimp were huge. Complimentary tequila with your meal. Nice setting not too cramped and very clean.
This restaurant offers great food, drinks and service. The whole red snapper is a standout. Two of us shared one. With a shared salad it was a great meal The wait staff treat you like family. Great experience
Went on a recommendation. Was not disappointed. Located in Centro. Small but spacious tables nicely separately. 2 of us had whole red snapper which was fantastic. One had mahi mahi and seafood speghetti. Food and service was outstanding. Recommend this find. PS: Get directions, not…on a Main Street in centro.More
What a fun Friday night dinner in Puerto Vallarta! A wonderful local restaurant with great food and service. Our group had octupus, seafood pasta and mahi-mahi–all were so good! Credit cards are accepted. Can’t wait to return!
Great family run restaurant. Great service and food. Portuguese shrimps are to die for. Excellent margarita’s and treated to some tequila shots on the house.
We went to Melissas with our fresh catch from a day of fishing and they were so gracious to cook it, using all of their various menu recipes to give us the most amazing medley of dishes. It was truly a wonderful experience. They also…have THE BEST red snapper dish we have found in PV! The owner couldn’t have been more wonderful and we keep coming back year after year.More
A nice, quaint, casual, unpretentious restaurant with a homey vibe. I enjoyed the grilled Octopus, with Olive Oil, garlic, onions and a hint of chili. It was accompanied by rice and mixed veggies. It was fantastic and the perfect portion size. They initially served hard…tortilla chips with an olive oil/chili/garlic dipping sauce as well as mayo and 4 veggie dipping sauce. The Margarita was standard. Service was very good and the waiter was bilingual and very polite and cheery. I’ll definitely return.More
Went in November with friends. Always welcoming, they informed/warned us about the sauces they put out with chips. The hot sauce is VERY hot, but so good. The seafood was super fresh and delicious. Not on the main drag but worth finding!
