We had a wonderful meal here, but I’m writing this review to celebrate the amazing dedication the management here (specifically Beto) showed to taking care of us as customers. My husband accidentally left his phone in the restroom at this restaurant, and he realized he…had left it while we were having our salads (approximately 6 minutes later). He went back to get it and it was gone. Emanuel, our waiter, alerted the manager, Beto. Beto reviewed the camera footage for us and we all watched those few minutes between the time the phone was left and the time my husband went in to check for it. Only one person had gone in, and Beto recognized the local worker from the docks (NOT an employee of the restaurant) who had taken it out of the restroom. Beto took a lot of his own time to help us. He went to talk to the guy who had taken it, and ultimately Beto brought the phone back to us! SUCH a relief, and without Beto’s dedication to help his customers, we would most certainly never have seen that phone again. He is our hero for this trip, as we are returning to the U.S. tomorrow and we can now do so with peace of mind. It was a frantic couple of hours but we want to say please visit this restaurant and enjoy their fun atmosphere, good food, and amazing personal integrity and compassion of the staff and leadership. This place is fun and lively, with friendly staff and a great American diner menu. We came here twice, once for tacos, and another day just for Sundaes and both times we had a blast!
Went for the thanksgiving dinner, it was delicious! Good food , good staff ! Will definitely return !
I had the best experience during my vacation. The best food and customer service I have received since I arrived! Jesus and jona brothers were so amazing in taking care of us. I recommend this place 100%, you won’t regret it!
Great staff, really unique restaurant taking you back to the days of rock roll. Staff stops and does a awesome dance to staying alive. So entertaining. Food is delicious!! I had a breakfast skillet and it was delicious and very large serving. Will definitely return!!
As a local I eat here all the time with friends and family… they have Rootbeer floats! Malts, onion rings and all sorts of diner fare… can’t recommend highly enough… During the high season elvis does shows, they have nightly specials, pot pie night is…my favorite, and the atomophere is the real deal…More
After having walked by the restaurant numerous times on this visit and a previous visit we decided to stop in for a meal. We each ordered burgers and they were delicious! The staff are very attentive and the spontaneous dancing was unexpected and very entertaining….They have Churro’s! The Churro’s are not listed on their menu but we can attest they are fresh and delicious!!!More
Let’s start with the good. Service was great. Employees are extremely friendly and welcoming. Now, the food. Not so good. Shrimp still had THAT vein in them and were only grilled on one side. Fish did not have a lot of flavor and the prices…were on the high side. So many choice of places to eat at the Mariana, this place has to do better. Overall, average at best.More
Located right at the PV Marina, this is a fun diner experience with burgers, hot dogs, fajitas, and more. Their house salad is very fresh and their homemade soups are also delicious. The servers in the evenings will break out in rock-n-roll song and dance,…and some evenings they have live entertainment as well. Give it a try!More
When you are ready for a great malt or homemade root beer, this is the place. They serve breakfast, as well as, lunch and dinner at reasonable prices.
We stopped in for a casual meal on a market night. Place is cute and service was attentive. Our burger meals were nicely presented but unfortunately they were terrible. Crumbly dry meat, limp/fatty bacon, crumbly buns, and limp fries. Pricing was also on the high…side for a casual spot (we would have been fine with the pricing had quality measured up). This was easily the worst restaurant meal we have had in 5 months in the area. We won’t be rushing back.More
Terrible & unprofessional…this business suffered issues with their credit card machine on the day of our visit on 3rd March 2022…but for whatever reason didn’t inform us prior to seating & taking our order….when it came time to settle bill …no credit card would work…– as apparently machine faulty…an unnamed supervisor then threatened us – with calling police – accused us of being drunk, demanded our passports.. just acted totally unprofessional. We paid what cash we had & went to the autobank just a few metres up the street which was working fine…with a member of staff (Victor) in toe.. and paid the balance in full. I was with a local PVR marina resident who was known to staff..and regular customer..most unprofessional service ever by the supervisor. Had been paying by credit card in several establishments locally prior to this..so issue was ONLY with this establishment…Victor on the staff was professionally…..good De-escalation skills…More
We went to the Thursday Market at Marina Vallarta that runs from 5 until 10 pm. We walked forever ( there are a LOT of vendors) and as we got hungry looked at all of the restaurants (there are a LOT) but found this restaurant…to be the most interesting. We were seated and ordered the rib special…(the menu is HUGE)…Margarita, ribs coconut shrimp an fries….lol…we figured would be a nice meal….WOW!!!…that was an understatement ….what we didn’t realize was it also came with a delicious salad with the best dressing I have ever tasted…..fries and a very nice 1/2 portion of ribs…(every time I pick up 1 rib it was so tender the meat fell off the bone) …corn on the cob…beans in a shell. The coating on the ribs was so delicious….all for $350 pesos…. Needless to say we had leftovers for another meal. Very nice atmosphere and excellent staff who were so kind and helpful….so much fun… A visit to MrDz’s Route 66 restaurant will not disappoint….. Thank you so much..More
My meal was downright awful, and I left regretting that I didn’t go to any of the other restaurants at the marina. I had ordered the night’s special, a chicken pot pie with side salad. The salad was served first, and while sizable, it consisted…of nothing more than shredded lettuce and thin strips (not slices) of tomato. The lettuce did not appear fresh, but I was hungry so I drowned the thing in ranch dressing and ate it. Then, came the chicken pot pie. It looked pretty, but with my first bite realized that it was cold. So, I waited for our server to reappear and sent it back to the kitchen. In no more than two minutes, out came the pie again. This time it was lukewarm, but losing patience, I proceeded to eat it. To be blunt, the chicken pieces were tough and the sauce and pie crust was tasteless. Really an awful meal! And, my partner had no better experience with his Cobb salad of tough chicken and wilted lettuce. There are many good restaurants at the marina, So please keep walking!More
This was our second visit to this restaurant. The margaritas are especially tasty and the food is delicious. I had a shrimp scald and my husband had the back ribs. Both exceeded our expectations. There is live music at the restaurant which adds to the…ambiance, as well as a view of all the mega yachts that are in port. The staff is friendly with a good command of English ans the service is excellent.More
