We visited Quinta Paloma while on a family holiday. While there we celebrated Nana’s 94th Birthday. The staff was extremely accommodating and really surprised us all with a celebration al this was very unexpected and not planned. The food was outstanding and fairly priced. This…will be a must stop if we return to Puerto Vallarta. Thanks so much for the experience, we really enjoyed it. We were visiting from New England!More

¡Mil gracias por sus comentarios y los esperamos muy pronto de regrerso en Quinta Paloma!
Six friends dined at Quinta Paloma. Unfortunately my husband and I did not enjoy our dishes. The burrito was not good, and not authentic: It contained yellow American cheese, not good melted Mexican cheese. The arrachera was tough and mostly tasteless. Instead of the normal…lettuce, tomatoes, etc. the vegetables were peppers of various colors and maybe cabbage? It was rather wet, so I could not pick it up to eat it. My husband’s Carne en su jugo was also not to his liking. You could take lessons from La tapatía cantaritos y carnes en su jugo in Col. 1 de Mayo, where it is excellent. Our friend said the Chamorro was very good. The chairs were very uncomfortable and need some cushions. The music was deafening (yes, I know Mexicans like their music loud), but it’s impossible to have conversations or talk to the waiter. For those reasons, we won’t be back, but I might order the Chamorro for takeout or delivery.More

This off the beaten path for Americans is truly worth the trip. Every Sunday around 4 PM Mexican time, a Mariachi band plays. Not just any but the best in PV, the house band at the Sheraton. The food is excellent. I had the arranchara…but will bring hungry friends next time to share that plus the 30+ hour pork speciality. The service was excellent. The made to order salsa is prepared table side to your desired heat level, medio was perfect for me. The hand made blue corn tortillas were a delight. I have enough for another meal – very generous portions. The refries are the best I’ve EVER had., plenty of lard I’m sure but worth every bite. A huge playground for children but beware they may not want to eat but play!More
