Don’t forget about this place around lunchtime as well – Your comida corrida – bistro dining experience at a hole in the wall price. Exceptionally friendly service and fine food, with little gastronomic touches which elevate the meal. This was a highlight for us on…this trip. Our last meal before heading to the airport, gives us good reason to return.More
Adobes is an amazing little restaurant about 2 blocks off of the Malecon. Outstanding food cooked with pride, skill and love. Great service and very affordable. Can’t wait to go back. Don’t miss this one. It’s a PV jewel you will be glad you chose.
Superb food, great service and brilliant quirky touches like the tiny snowman who turned out to be the butter! So good I’m going back for my birthday.
This was our first visit here, won’t be our last. Small, quiet atmosphere, good service, amazing food. My husband had chicken mole and I had chile en nogada–both wonderful. Has been added to our Must Return list. Cash only.
Food was amazing. Well seasoned. Generous portions. Beautiful plating. Impeccable service small, homey, local
Price was right — especially when ordering the daily special — and the staff were attentive! I LOVED my shrimp-stuffed poblano (not too hot) and my wife loved her fish. We found this restaurant on the recommendation of therapist at Vida Massage (also recommended) and…are glad we did.More
I have been coming to Adobes since the doors opened. Always consistent good food at more than fair prices. The staff is accommodating friendly, and provide excellent service. Breakfast lunch or dinner you can’t miss. not fancy just good food. Vicente is an excellent chef….I followed him from his previous gig and he now has his own restaurant.More
We have dined at Adobes for years. Always delicious with great service. They close for about an hour around 4pm to prepare for dinner. We love to go for lunch and dinner. Affordable prices and quality ingredients. We prefer it to some of the restaurants…nearby. Closed Tuesdays. Yummy Chiles en nogada ( the national dish) shrimp and seafood dishes. it truly is a gem !More
I had a Mexican platter, it was very good. The staff is very nice. The place is small so if you have a larger party call ahead.
Food fair service nonresistant. The food was plain. We waited for over 15 minutes to place our order and then another hour or so for bland food. We won, t go back.
Fantastic small restaurant packing great flavours and excellent service. Shrimp bisque, Caesar salad, filet mignon, chicken Parmesan to name a few that were excellent. Service was wonderful. We talked to many people that go there weekly because it is so good.
We come here whenever we are in town and it does not disappoint. Great food, friendly servers and safe time. We were able to make a reservation but you can often just walk in. Totally worth it!!
wonderful food and service. Thebest veal osso bucca I ever had. wife had the poblana wonderful best food in town.
You’d be hard-pressed to find a better tasting, filling lunch value in PV. They have 2 lunch specials; $75 and $99 pesos. $75 is either beef, chicken, fish, or pork, with numerous prep options. $99 is shrimp. All include soup of the day, choice of…2 side dishes, bread/tortillas, and flavored water of the day. It’s amazing value, the service is wonderful and the food is outstanding with big portions. I know, sounds too good to be true, but it isn’t. Can’t recommend it enough. Bon Appetite!More
One of my favorite place to dine in Puerto Vallarta. We stumbled into Adobes during our walk and spoke to the nice lady. I read her menu and so glad I did and came for dinner that night. The food was excellent and o recommend…any of their seafood on their menu. It was so nice to see the chef cooking too. The staff was excellent and really enjoyed the romantic guitarist singer too. Love the local feel, and from the look for their patrons, we were the only tourist there and almost all were locals and knew each other by name. If you’re ever in Zona Romantica, I highly recommend you pay them a visit. They are a hole in the wall and probably, one of the best in Puerto Vallarta during our visit. Cheers!More
