1st time we have ate here, great menu, full of variety. Leo our waiter was excellent as we ordered meals with substituted items to meet our tastes and everything came out as ordered. I am a stickler for food coming hot, the burritos that we…ordered came hot and steamy, very tasty. We will come here again thanks to the 1st impression we had. Thanks Leo!!More
Husband and I had a lovely dinner here. The ceviche appetizer would be a lovely lunch. Prawns were succulent. Steak was flavourful. Service was attentive and professional. Quite reasonably priced.
This restaurant opens right onto the sidewalk of the main street from the Hotel Zone to the Malécon – making it very easy to walk or drive by. Our concierge recommended it when we asked her for a restaurant NOT on the Malécon, which was…crazy nuts b/c of everyone in town for the public celebration of Dia de Los Muertos for the first time since 2019. Taxi Drivers didn’t want to try to make it down there. Are we glad we went! My husband had a shrimp dish and I had tequila shrimp, which was a cream sauce w/ onions and peppers. The servings were huge and the food was delicious! The guacamole was homemade, and the pico de gallo was spicy. The margaritas were also a generous size. I had the mango, which was as creamy as a milkshake and nearly as sweet! We ended up returning another night, but this time we walked to and from our hotel at the Krystal Vallarta, probably 1.25 miles each way.More
Amazing. Had the red snapper it is definitely a lot for two people but super yummy. Excellent authentic Mexican food. Come hungry! Fresh mango margaritas are devine and staff are excellent. Very friendly, funny and speak perfect English for those who cannot get by in…Spanish.More
Friendly waiters, fantastic food beautifully presented. We enjoyed a wonderful evening meal here, fresh fish, and a margarita or two! A must if you’re in the area.
We stayed at Sheraton hotel nearby this seafood restaurant. What a hidden gem! You got to try this new sisters restaurant! The original one is called “ Happy Lobster “ which located near this place. Super highly reviewed on here. The price is the much…much cheaper than other places in Downtown and the Old Town!More
I’ve most definitely give this restaurant a five star , my family and I have travelled to many places and to date this has been a cut above the rest. With our knowledge growing up with seafood as an stable we know a good meal…when we taste it, the Resturant is a family own and run,it definitely shows thru the service and the seafood dishes. So for my family and I say it’s a “go to” and “go for it”.More
Four of us had dinner here last night. Charming setting from the street and reviews were good, so we gave it a try. We were not disappointed. Drinks were fine and, after the usual display of available seafood, we ordered one of the specialties for…two, including lobster, langustines, shrimp and snapper. There was enough for three and everything was cooked to perfection except the snapper which was a bit dry. Our fourth had fajitas which were great. with cocktails, sangria and kahlua nightcap, price was very competitive. If you want good quality and don’t have to be in the centre of the action, we would highly recommend Santos.More
This charming restaurant is right on the Main Street in the hotel zone. As we walked by, the workers invited us in so a very friendly place. My friend and I each ordered a seafood casserole. There were about 6 to choose from. We were…both pleasantly surprised with our orders when they arrived. Mine had a large crab leg, many shrimp and octopus in a great spicy sauce. We enjoyed our experience there and are going back soon.More
Staff, food and drinks were all very very good. My partner had the Puerto Vallarta style seafood casserole and she stated that it was the best seafood she had here in Mexico. Having some drinks on 2 for 1 in the afternoons is a good…thing as well. GREAT job gang. We will see you again soon…..More
I was unable to rate this restaurant a 5 due to trip advisor. We were searching for a flash fried red snapper and our taxi driver stopped by to verify if available. The restaurant was accommodating from the start. Superb service, very attentive. Hugo stopped…by often. The flash fried fish met our expectation. We will return.More
Had dinner twice here. Both were excellent. Service is efficient and friendly. First night I had grilled whole red snapper. Excellent. The next time I had their shrimp, split and grilled with garlic butter. Heaven in a shell. Tasted almost like lobster and was so…tender. One night had a pin it a to drink,, non alcoholic pineapple drink. Very refreshing. They serve fired tostadas with the best pick de gallo I’ve had. I also got an octopus and shrimp cocktail. Huge and the octo was tender. Too much for me with the shrimp but glad I had it!More
We had loved quirky Cuetos for years but this modernization and relocation puts to shame the family’s name. Horrible service—virtually no attention paid to us. Seafood platter dried out and cold and no preliminary views given. Such a disappointment. We will never return nor suggest…to our many hungry friends.More
Like fresh seafood at reasonable prices then go to Santos Mariscos. Our waiter was very attentive and made several suggestions. If you are staying at the Sheraton Buganvilias/Buganvilias Club it is a short taxi or walk. Everything was delicious and seasoned perfectly. We had two…different types of shrimp that were served family style with rice and vegetables. After dinner they served a complimentary Kahlua and cream drinks. Looking forward to a return visit!More
Love, love, love this place. Secluded, local, excellent food, drinks, and value. My favorite is the sea bass. This is a must every time I visit PV.
