The food is very good and consistent from time to time. Excellent whole fish, seafood and some meat options. I recommend reserving by the edge where you can see and hear the ocean!
Casual yet elegant dining. Right in the beach! Enjoy a beverage, the sea salt air, the waves crashing in the background, and the charming hospitality of the Mexican people! Very good service. Valentina and Pedro were phenomenal waitstaff. Always a smile. Always working hard. But…always time to talk to you! The food is excellent as well. Tasty. Reasonable prices. Just a pleasure to be there! I had the mahi-mahi. My partner had the lobster Filet combo. We will go back! You must stop here for at least the table side guac and a beer!More

We went without reservations but did get an inside table for 5 which was less noisy. Three of us had the jumbo Portuguese shrimp and two had the coconut shrimp. We have dined at the Blue Shrimp a couple of times on previous visits and have high expectations with regard to the quality of the food and service. The three menu items we ordered more than met our expectations. I loved the seafood soup which…is a hands on meal to extract the jumbo shrimp and other delicious bits. The broth was very rich and flavourful. My husband loved the fajitas and our companion really enjoyed the shrimp and beef skewers. What made our experience even more memorable was the fabulous service provided by our waiter Pedro. He a sense of humour and was helpful and attentive to our needs. We were walking back to our AirBnB in Zona Romonatica and wanted a few beach side drinks and good food (but b/c I’m so darn white, something with some shade – so I remembered Blue Shrimp was on the way. It had been a few…years since I had been here but the service was even better than I remembered! Fun, festive, polite, helpful, and went out of their way to make our lunch a good time. Paulo was our server and was fantastic! A+ service, the food was good and a great value for the price. Highly recommend for a nice beach experience out of the sand. 🙂More

The Blue shrimp Puerto Vallarta was awesome!! Great yummy food, beautiful view, and even better service. We enjoyed the Vallarta fish Ceviche, table side Guacamole, and a yummy Shrimp Cocktail, all was EXCELLENT! Cold beer and Micheladas kept coming. Pedro treated us so well, made…sure we were always attended to, and even recommended some great things for us to do while visiting. I would definitely come back here and Pedro would be our guy. Our service was fantastic, Pedro & Paulo we’re fantastic and very attentive. The only thing I don’t recommend is the Key Lime Pie! The Newspaper Shrimp was amazing!

Talk about great food and entertainment! Our server & entertainer, Pedro was AMAZING!!! Not only was the entertainment amazing, so was the food!! This is definitely a restaurant to visit if in Puerto Vallarta! Our party had the whole Snapper, saute octopus, the Oyster Rockefeller,…garlic butter jumbo shrimp, lobster tacos, Chili Relleno, Mai Mai and Alll was delicious!!!
