The food and drinks were amazing!! The views are amazing! The mariachis are amazing! We had a great time. We will definitely be back!!
Truly an amazing restaurant. Pumpkin soup was one of the best soups I’ve ever had. All entrees excellent. Drinks – great. And of course the mariachis…
We were celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary and wanted to find someplace special to go. And special it was. We could not have selected a better venue. The ambiance of the beautiful sunset and the outstanding Mariachi band playing softly in the background was second…to none. Oscar our waiter was very attentive and surprised us with a special anniversary dessert. The arugula salad was the perfect accompaniment to the most delicious entrees of salmon and pork shank. Do not miss going here for a special occasion!More
Perfect dinner of service, setting, and food. What a gorgeous restaurant with lovely views. The service was fantastic, including the sommelier who proactively suggested a glass of wine to accompany my mother’s main meal. We started with squash blossoms and pumpkin soup, and both were…fabulous. For our mains, we ordered steak, fish filet, and short rib, and we all raved about our dishes. The chocolate cake was an excellent way to end the evening. Definitely a dinner we will not forget.More
Incredible view and service. The filet on bone was perfectly prepared with layers of flavor. Expensive place but so worth it for a special night.
The best experience we had in PV, service and food. HIGHLY recommend. The mariachi band was amazing as well. Kudos to this establishment.
This restaurant was recommended by a co-worker who goes to PV a lot. I don’t believe he has been here but he said his friends recently declared it “the best dinner in Puerto Vallarta!” My wife and I had a very enjoyable time here. We…had a table with a lovely view of the rooftops out to the Bay. I forget what we ordered remember that the food was quite good. I would not say that it would be the first place for a vegetarian or vegan. The restaurant is all open-air with ceiling fans and in late August it was rather hot and humid, but that is just Puerto Vallarta. If you need air conditioning they do not have it here. The trip to the restroom is amazing because you see some of the inside of Casa Kimberly, which once belonged to the actor Richard Burton. The service was very attentive.More
Elizabeth Former Estate in Puerto Vallarta with 5 Star Service and Ambiance . Restaurant is sure to earn a Michelin Star soon. The short ribs killer and the black bean soup wow. Cocktails amazing as well. Definitely will be returning. Entrees range in price from…15$-60$ definitely worth the high price of admissionMore
Definitely the most elegant and special dining experience we encountered in PV. We loved the food and appreciated the large menu. Plus Elizabeth Taylor is everything.
The setting, service, food, and drinks were all terrific. We stopped in on a lark and were greeted with enthusiasm. The views from this legendary restaurant are beautiful. All in all, a lovely evening at this exquisite restaurant.
We came here for my parents 21st wedding anniversary on may 19th and it was one of the most amazing experience. All the food was definitely top notch. We loved all the decor, and the servers were definitely on top of everything. I will 100%…recommend this place to anyone looking for a special evening.More
Had a wonderful time here at the Iguana Restaurant. I booked through Open Table for my wife’s birthday and we got seated at a very nice table with expansive views. I was hoping to catch a glimpse of the mariachi band but they weren’t working…on Sunday. Overall it was a great experience. Food was super delicious, nice ambiance, upscale clientele. Wife and I were dressy and we looked great against the beautiful backdrop . Wife had the filet and I had the salmon; never tasted salmon that good before! Service was also very, perfectly paced, perhaps they wanted us to experience the sunset and ambiance of the whole restaurant/villa. I do appreciate everyone being very nice and kind. Will be back.More
My wife wanted to come here for the Elizabeth Taylor love story with Richard Burton… I was skeptical.. located in Gringo Gulch with a good view of PV. The property is beautiful and we loved the patio. Nice cocktails that had a flair. We got…the food and it went into the crapper. I had the Diablo shrimp and my wife had the fish special. (actually not special.) The food was just OK but charged on the high side for Puerto. I would much rather go the Serrano’s and know what I am getting. The story of the villa is an interesting one but understand that the food doesn’t live up to the legend..More
While there are many good restaurants in PV, this was our favorite. Though more upscale and pricier than others this place will not disappoint.
Extremely unique place- read the history of it if you have time. Excellent views. We had top-notch service. Enjoyed the squash blossoms and the arugula salad. Pork shank was tender and flavorful. Sea bass (fresh catch) was a nice portion and cooked to perfection.
