A friend told us to leave Zona Romantica for an adventure in a PV neighborhood rather like what Romantica had been decades ago–Tony’s Please! We went early & had the restaurant & Tony himself to ourselves. We were in heaven. Great margaritas, wonderful chips, and…hot bread were served immediately. For dinner we had avocado soup plus a variety of shrimp dishes, all good, but especially the Tetrrazini (Tony is of Italian heritage). Total price: about $45. Our friend had recommended the chicken livers, which we didn’t try. Next time! Head to Tony’s ASAP.More

Delicious take on Mexican Food. Friendly service. Went twice on our 10 day vacay. Had the best chicken enchiladas we tasted in Puerto Vallarta. They serve salad and bread with the meal along with corn chips and salsa for starters. Beers are nice and cold…too. Definitely worth the 15 minute walk from downtown and there is a freshly cooked Churros stall for dessert on way back!More

An expat friend of ours said this place was incredible … and he was right. We never would have found this place without his recommendation (Thanks Guy W.!). I had the chicken tetrazzini and it was the best I have ever eaten. It came with…a wonderful small salad and this incredible bread. Also, everyone gets chips and pico to start. My wife had the chicken fajitas and they were also excellent. The red wine (3) and a margarita were wonderful and the total price for our entire meal was only $880 pesos (about $48 USD)! We were stuffed and it was fantastic. I will be coming back here on my next PV trip for sure. I highly recommend Tony’s Please to anyone looking for a great local (family owned) meal at a very reasonable price.More

I came here on a Monday evening, and only half tables were taken. Ordered shrimp, and they were so fresh they almost squeaked! Cooked perfectly. Fun menu. Great service, and Tony waited on me and gave me pointers on what to order–Great. I shall return.

We loved this restaurant- friendly staff, fun owner, Tony, great food. We ate there three nights of our short stay and the four of us tried different meals every time. Great chicken parmesan, very tasty steak, great shrimp dishes, and the best ever mushroom soup….Margaritas were yummy, wine was good. Very reasonable prices. Meals included chips, salsa, salad, bread and entree. Dinner one night for four was $80 including 4 entrees, 3 margaritas, 1 beer, 2 soft drinks. Loved it all – will return some day!More

We eat at Tony’s at least once every time we’re in PV! The food here is definitely worth the walk! The Shrimp crepes are a group favorite, but you can’t go wrong with any of their dishes. I love the fish vera cruz…so good! And…don’t forget the margaritas! Very tasty!More

This place is great! We’ve eaten at this small hole in the wall restaurant back in town a bit several times now. Affordable steak and pasta dinners. My wife’s pepper steak was a LITTLE dry on the outsides, but my filet in mushroom sauce was…delicious! They have fried frog legs which taste a bit like chicken even the kids enjoyed them!More

Tony’s Please didn’t disappoint! We ate there a few times years ago and heard from friends who recently discovered them that they were still in business. They are now their new favourite restaurant in old town. We both ordered shrimp dishes and loved them! Service…was excellent! We will definitely come back and we’ll tell our friends to go! Thank you for a great evening!More

My husband and I were there for dinner with another couple. We had made reservations and were glad we had. We all had different dishes: fish fillet Vera Cruz, breaded fish fillet and shrimp and chicken crepes. We were all very pleased with our dinner…. The fresh hot bread and butter were a huge success also. We will be returning soon.More

Tony’s place we had heard about while visiting Twisted Palms, so we thought we’d give it a try… Worth the out of the way walk.. Awesome food in a quaint little place, only about 9-10 tables set up.. I had the stuffed bacon wrapped shrimp…and it was very good. Would go back again!!More
