Went today with my friend and I i asked for a single plate I asked for a double, when he served me I took the first spoon and then the second spoon he put less then half a spoon of meat and then starting puting…sauce on it, to move on from what he was doing, which I immediately told him to stopped and to put more meat on the 2nd spoon CAUSE IM PAYING FOR IT, where he went and put one little extra piece of meat I stare at him and asked him if he was kidding? And he goes and puts yet another single piece of meat and tell him how he’s scamming/robbing me infront of my face and he starts acting as he doesn’t understand/speaks the language (he’s only way to defend himself from trouble) Ps I’m not a tourist calling for attention, I’m a local and as a local please save yourself a bittersweet time.More
Fairly fresh tasting Chinese food. Hard to find good Chinese food in P.V but this is the best I’ve found so far.
very cheap and cheerful little buffet. pick from a tray of food that is fullest. hot pork dish was great with spices and pineapple. local love to bring their families here for “American food”
It’s very hard to find good Chinese food in Puerto Vallarta. I feel this restaurant does a very good job. I frequently get take out. It’s fresh, large portions and very reasonably priced.
This place is located where you catch the bus in old town on the main drag. Just down the street from Guadalajara Pharmacy. To get something different then Mexican food, this is a place has food that is fresh, warn and has taste. There is…NO service, but the people dishing out the foods a friendly and accommodating. You order your food and then take your tray to the table, but the price and food makes this a worthwhile stop. We have been there twice this tri and will hit it one more time before we leave.More
We’d passed this place a few times and thought, ugh, a Chinese buffet? Can’t be that great, but it really was! Crunchy spring rolls, fresh broccoli and pork, sweet and sour chicken like I had in China, and spicy beef – all with a side…of fried spaghetti. OK, you probably can’t get the chow mein noodles here so substitute spaghetti noodles but everything was pretty good. Super nice guy, made me feel right at home. I would choose this place over Archie’s Wok any day! Can’t beat the 3 choice combo for 68 pesos.More
I was looking for good Oriental takeout in my neighborhood and this place fills the bill. I especially like the pork, the chop suey and crispy chicken. Nice family atmosphere, not fancy.
My visit to this restaurant was memorable, excellent service, large menu, and as I am aware the only Cantonese restaurant in Puerto Vallarta. I have to admit I am a little biased since Cantonese food is top of my menu list. Parking is a problem…so walking there is necessary. It is a small restaurant but charming, their soups are excellent, along with the main courses, alcohol is available sometimes they get it from another restaurant. Make your trip to Puerto Vallarta memorable by visiting.the Cantonese Garden.More
Although this place is not your typical upscale restaurant, it is a small dine in or carry out restaurant with great food for a low price. You also get a lot of food. I read other reviews about the orange chicken, and although it was…good, I’d have to say that the jalapeno shrimp was one of my favorite dishes. My husband enjoyed the beef with the vegetables. It was so good and inexpensive that we ate there 2 times while we were there!More
A simple, small but very clean place which is run by a nice chinese couple. We were tired of the tacos and miserable foods and places, so the Cantonese Garden was a life saver for our family! Tasty and with generous amonuts in each plate,…we difinitely will be back!More
We ordered 2 take out meals with 3 items. They all come with rice or noodles. We were told to go with the rice as it is the better of the 2 choices. I am not really a rice person but I must say it…was good. It all tasted good and we had plenty for leftovers.More
We get the carry-out chicken when we’re in the mood. They have a clean environment and enough space to eat at the restaurant, but we usually take out. Limited number of dishes, but all we’ve ordered have been tasty and plentiful.
nice couple runs this place been in mexico 4 years. busy place good takeaway. buffet style. lots of vegetables. nice and crisp. a nice change from tortilla. friendly and clean. worth the visit
I came with a friend. The owner behind the food offered samples of food. He and his wife speaks Spanish, English and Chinese and was very friendly 🙂 We ordered a 2 item Combo plate AND you have a choice of rice or noodles (chow…mein) and they bring your tray of food to your table for you too. The restaurant is well lit and very clean. Food served hot and is fresh! The steamed broccoli was tasty hot and fresh. The noodles and chicken entree item is a bit on the salty side but this place does NOT add MSG. I am very allergic and did not have a reaction to the food I ordered :)) Great alternative for those on a tight budget. I had their home made iced tea profiled in plastic cups with the lid already fastened and was refreshing! I highly recommend this restaurant!More
I’ve been going to this little place for years and you can’t beat the price/value offered for a Chinese meal. The best offer is to take meal deal. The rice and or Chinese pasta is included and is a in very generous portions. Then your…choice of a 1, 2, or 3 other items complete your meal. Try the Orange Chicken along with a few others. The last time there, it was 65 Pesos (US$ 4). Lots of seating or just bring it home. I still can’t understand their mostly Chinese but they are always smiling. You show with your fingers the number of items you want and then just point. Great food and value especially when travelling on a budget.More
