I can’t say enough wonderful and positive things about Daniel at champions. He is so friendly so outgoing and made us feel right at home here! We cannot wait to come back and see him again. Food and drinks were awesome as always. We always…feel at home at Marriott but Daniel is a one-in-a-million type of employee. He really raises the bar in terms of hospitality, service, and just straight fun. He sang for us, he entertained us, and truly made our stay a first class experience. He makes Marriott a better place and we had the best time! Honorary mention to Antonio also. He was serving us as well and what a great guy. These guys need a raise and fast because they truly are making our Puerto Vallarta experience an epic one!!!!!! Well done, I gotta hand it to you, you must be doing something right and having such wonderful staff!!!!More
The slowest service, more than 30 min to get a simple salad. We had to ask 3 times for a water, the food very mediocre, and it’s no cheap at all for the quality and service. In general bad experience.
The food and service were excellent and it was inside The Marriot Resort & Spa. My husband had a burger and fries, while I ordered the beef tacos. The big screen TVs can be used to watch sporting events. Customers cheered for their favorite teams…in football, hockey, and soccer in restaurants.More
Eugenia and Alberto are amazing! Great service during our game. We will definitely come here again!!
I’ve been here many times and made 5* reviews. This is a Friday night… I ordered a Dos Exus Ámbar and was served a Texate Light. After I agreed to drink it, the next beer was an Ámbar. It was warm and sour. They agreed…to take it back. They were out of most beer types (Friday night???). I said I’ll take another Tecate Light then. The server said “sorry, your wife got the last one.” Friday night at 9pm. What a Sh*t Show!More
Pool Tables not available, Darts not available, service is the worst, nothing to do with the Campions many years ago, too bad, the food is stll good, never coming back again, there are more sports bars and restaurants much butter than Champions in Vallarta.
Very poor service, pool tables not availabme, darts not available, nothing to to with the champions yeaes ago.
Friendly staff with American-type food. However, would not recommend when the live band is playing. It is too loud and you can’t converse with friends. I would go when band is not there and you can relax and watch sports and drink.
I was hosted at Zona Romántica area, looking for a place to watch the UFC fights for the night. I called this bar and 2 people confirmed that the fights would be shown, I spent 25 minutes from the zone where I was + the…Uber fee to get to this place to find out that they won’t show the fight that I asked for and that they confirmed less than a hour before. If you don’t know the information, you say that you don’t know or you didn’t understand, you don’t lie and say “yes” just to attract a public.More
Located at the Marriott Puerto Vallarta, this is a fun sports bar and a great place to watch the big sports games. One of their walls is dedicated to being a TV filling up the entire wall – HUGE! Premier League or Champions League football;…NBA or NFL games – you can catch them all here. There are also many other smaller TVs dispersed throughout the place. Antonio and Emily are two of the great servers here. For-sure winners for eats are their shrimp tacos baja style and their classic bacon cheeseburger with fries. Give it a try!More
downside: menu is 68 pages for a phone download that is very poor design and super long download. Since rules require this, optimizing the menu for phone view should be a priority. French onion soup is really good
Dear Notasto, Thank you for sharing your comments with us. We have shared said feedback with the appropriate leaders as a way to keep improving our service. Thank you for your preference, we hope to welcome you back in the near future! Fred Ruiz
I’ve been going to Champions for 15 years. Resort prices, service mediocre but they have my college games so I go during the season. Last night only 1 staff member was helpful. The rest, including the manager, treated me like crap. They wouldn’t turn my…game on any of 20 tv’s they have because some tourists had some other games they were watching. This is from someone who supports yhe bar during the summer, pandemics and any other time tourists aren’t here. They need to treat locals and people who visit in low season with respect. We support this place when nobody is around!! Thank you Raciel who was the only staff member who went out of his way to help me. Erwitt and the rest of the staff shame on you. Everybody should venture into Fajita Banana in the Marina where you’ll be treated better and food far more like Mexico prices!!More

We really only went here because the menu said they had an IPA on draft. They had nothing on draft except Modelo. Just got some nachos, the portion was good enough for 2. The Service was good as always in this resort.

At the last minute, we canceled eating out and opted to stay in the Marriott and decided to eat dinner here. Highlights: – Quick service. There was not many people there. The servers looked bored and was looking for something to do. Seemed super excited…to serve us when we walked in. Self serve seating anywhere in the restaurant. – Hockey Sticks were fantastic as appetizers. It seems like mozzarella sticks just made with puff pastries instead of bread crumbs with cheese inside. There were four to an order. It was fresh, hot, and not greasy. – Nachos con carne were flavorful and gigantic. It could feed two people easier if not more. I ordered this appetizer as a meal and only finished half. It came with a side of jalapeños, sour cream, and pico de gallo. – They have a full bar. I ordered several rum punches and they were full of flavor and tasted delicious. Things to consider: – Not as clean as I would have liked for it to be. I noticed direct and trash on the floors but the tables were sanitized. I shouldn’t be too critical as it is a sports bar after all. – Great place to watch sports. They have many screens and there was two MLB games on when we were there. There was an actual electronic score board showing all the scores in updated looping rotation. Overall, I felt the food was fresh and the service was great. I would definitely go back.More

This Sports Bar is located inside the Marriott Hotel in the Marina District. Great sports bar BUT not impressed with the food. We ordered the Chicken Fingers and they were dry, tuff and stringy. Must have been from a rooster not a chicken. Service was…just OK.More
