Food is tremendous, eat there, delivery or take out. Best burgers anywhere either side of the border.
We, like a few of the other reviews out there, were craving a burger. We met another couple that had mentioned this place during a tour we were on and decided to go there with them. It is only about a 10 min walk from…our resort so it does score a 4 **** for location to Villa de Palmar. The location is across from Sorianos and handy. Prices were ok – all in for 2 good size burgs, fries, onion rings and 2 soft drinks came to just under $20 US or $372 M Pesos. The burgs, fries & rings are all cooked to order so the food is fresh (but probably out of a freezer. The burger (in my opinion) had a slightly odd flavour but edible. The onion rings were a bit over cooked (very crispy) but I liked them. Everyone in our party enjoyed the change from either high end offerings at the resort or the standard mexican fare available every where else. Bottom line – better than the burger chains but probably would not go again.More
These burgers are THE BEST if you are near one dont even think twice go and get one NOW, they are so tasty and the delicious unique meat is a must
Limited menue. Cooked lettuce. Meat like from the steam not from grill. Did not like it. What a change from before. No vegetables anymore.
A few nights ago I was hungry for a burger since hadn’t had one for a long while since coming to PV. This place was recommended when we asked in the neighbourhood. I am Canadian and like the way burgers are made there. This burger…was a little more on the moist/more fat side but still very tasty. This restaurant has 3 things on the menu: burgers,fries and pop. You can choose from 4 types of burgers but all of them are 1/2 pound burgers. I enjoyed the burger quite a lot but couldn’t finish it. For party animals on the way home, this would be enough to help you through the night!More
Well, we love the burgers – really tasty. Hoping we don’t get sick after seeing the grill cook handling raw meat with bare hands and then also handling veggies and other toppings with the same bare hands…this is a disaster waiting to happen! Casual place for burgers. Prices are good! Half quarter size is perfect if you don’t want to get stuffed. Try Guacamole! It’s delicious.
I live in Puerto Vallarta several months every year, but now and then, I’m in a mood for a good old hamburger. So, earlier this year, I tried Cuarto de Kilo at the Plaza Caracol. They had all the fixings and I was prepared for…the best. But it missed, and missed by a pretty good margin. Now, the lettuce, tomato, onion… all was done right. Even the bun was okay, if not great. But it stopped with the cooking. I can’t even comment on the meat, because it was so poorly cooked that it ended up being no more than a squishy mess. May be if it were well done, it would have been better, but then I prefer medium. So, give them a chance and, failing that… if you really want a good hamburger, drive east past Costo and Commercial to Lukumbe on the right. Enjoy.More
Cheap rats for burgers. Typical burgers with breadcrumbs in. But taste good, fries and better still the barbeque vegetables are very good.
Was craving a burger and stumbled into this place after going grocery shopping, man am I glad we found this place, very tasty burgers wonderful choices and the price you just cant beat!
I went to this restaurant today at lunch time and had the cuarto de kilo guacamole Burger. I also had the grilled vegetables as a side. To drink, I had a Coca-Cola light. In total, the bill was about a hundred and forty paces. The…place is clean. The counter service is professional. The menu is big. The burgers are good, but not by any means great. The vegetables were very good. Service to make the burger and vegetables was 14 minutes.More
Real charcoal flame hamburgers over real charcoal. A unique circular rotisserie that is used to grill everything including the vegetables. Exceptional flavor and the quarter kilo burger is very large. Service is exterior seating and very popular.
If you’re like me and you love a flame broiled burger. You are going to love this place. It has a circular rotisserie that you can watch them cook the burgers over real charcoal. You have to specifically ask for the big Quattro kilo and…they have screwed up my order all three times that I went there so be damn sure to check the bag. However, I love the concept. Someone is actually going to rip off Mexico and take it to North America and make a bunch of money.More
Best burgers in Puerto Vallarta, the taste of the burger is so good that you notice that is real meat and not the frozen one that use to sell. Excellent service too. Good job guys!
If you want a flame broiled burger this is the place for you. Cooked in front of you on a rotisserie that is a totally new way. The quarter kilo burger is a monster.
