Went and had breakfast yesterday. Scrambled eggs with a spicy red sauce. Excellent and inexpensive. Good service, coffee just ok
Decent breakfast at non gringoized prices. Definitely worth a visit when visiting PV. Now if the could just get the recipe for the Mi Café potato wedges I’m in.
Cute tiny local place. Great for an inexpensive breakfast. Service is good. Close to the beach. Will return.
This has been our “go to” restaurant all week. The breakfasts are fabulous, the green juice amazing and the owner/staff make you feel like your in Mama’s kitchen. Fresh orange juice is squeezed when you order and each morning we have happened to be there…when the fresh fruits, eggs and veggies come in. They do breakfast, lunch and dinner. 8-6 mon-sat and 8-2:30 sunMore
The BEST breakfast place in town! I come to Puerto Vallarta a lot and always make sure I come here. They have all types of foods, Mexican and American breakfasts. I loved the coffee and i’m pretty picky with coffee, 10/10 recommend!
I always order chilaquiles with scrambled eggs and get a full plate of delicious chilaquiles; however, today (Sunday) the cook served me scrambled eggs with a side of chilaquiles with only 4-5 chips! That’s basically a 48 peso dish for 70 pesos! AND not what…I ordered. The cook gave me attitude! Instead of redoing it so I’m going to Serrano’s who have delicious chilaquiles with coffee for less!More
Amazing food and service by a family restaurant! Get the Chilaquiles mixed with Chicken and toast…so good!
Great little Mexican family style restaurant with full menu of Mexican dishes. Especially enjoy breakfast.
We popped in for a late breakfast/early lunch. Couldn’t decide. Ended up ordering lunch with their cheese burger and club sandwich. Wash down with a jug of Aqua Fresca. Food was good. But the big take away was the great bargain. Prices are very good…here.More
You could call me a Frequent Diner at this busy small (about 10-12 tables) restaurant offering a great comida corrida menu posted on the board, starting at 1 pm. Many choices which come with fruit water of the day, soup (usually 3 choices) tortillas in…addition to a modest sized main dish. Always tasty and satisfied. Frequented by a mix of locals, tourists and expats. Friendly efficient service. Frequent lines or you can share tables. No aircon.More
I love this place and eat here often for breakfast and lunch when in Puerto Vallarta. However, during a lunch visit, someone dropped the ball big time. Hubby and I ordered the chile rellenos for lunch. It was crowded so we waited a while for…the food. When it arrived, hubby’s relleno had decently melted cheese inside of the chile but mine did not! My chile had an unmelted stick of cheese inside! I was shocked. I should’ve sent it back but I was starving so I didn’t. I ate what I could of the unmelted cheese and ate the chile. I was so disappointed as we have eaten many chile rellenos here in the past. We would definitely would return to Dianitas during our next visit to Puerto Vallarta but next time I would say something if I get a relleno like that again.More
We love this little restaurant! Menu changes daily but we’re satisfied every year. Lunch special is always great and affordable. Service is always attentive. If you’re in the area try this place!
Want a real Mexican breakfast off the beaten track, at a very reasonable price? Try this hidden jewel, but remember- cash only!
Visitors are always asking where do the locals go, this is it. Breakfast and lunch only. They always have 5-7 featured lunch’s, plus a soup and drink. Wonder service, good food at a reasonable price. It’s in the Romantic Zone.
This unassuming small restaurant is always busy and sometimes you may evven share your table with another diner, which I enjoy. I have only been to Dianita for breakfast and have always been satisfied with the authentic home cooking. Portions are large and prices are…more than reasonable. They also have “comida corrida”, a set priced lunch but I haven’t been able to have lunch there since there is usually a line of people waiting to go in. Located close to the malecon Dianita is certainly worth a visit if you are looking for a less touristy meal.More
