On January 7, 2019 the owner of Dias de Rumba posted on their Facebook page that they were closed because they were moving to a better location. Then on January 11, 2019 they posted “we would like to inform our clients and friends that for…the moment we are CLOSED. We are looking for a better place to continue giving you our best Dias de Rumba”. I have always enjoyed going to Dias de Rumba. The location was great and made you feel as if you were at a private home dancing at a party in the backyard. The owners and staff were welcoming and professional. The band and live music were authentic and made you want to dance. The mojitos were delicious and refreshing. I do hope that they will reopen but a closure during the height of tourism season doesn’t bode well for the future.More
The owner, Daniel, is a fantastic person and makes you feel extremely comfortable at his restaurant/salsa-dancing club. The live band is an absolute treat, and the open courtyard concept of the dance floor is wonderful. I also greatly enjoyed the two meals and mojitos I…consumed here! Would recommend to anyone looking for a lovely dance-setting with great food.More
This Latin club is new in Vallarta. It is a Do Not Miss venue. Daniel the owner is charming, friendly, and goes out of his way to make sure that everyone is having a good time, as does everyone who works there. Bonus!; salsa lessons…are available and top-notch. There is live music Wednesdays through Sundays. NOTE:This is off the Main Road so you will not stumble upon it walking around; It is an oasis open air beautiful setting close to all but a bit hidden. It will be a disservice to your time here if you do not seek it out. You will not be sorry!More
Thank you so much Joy for your comments and for taking our salsa lessons hopefully see you next year
We discovered Dias de Rumba early in our trip and went back every night they had live music. The venue is a lovely open-air space with a good sized dance floor and a fun band. It is one block off the busy Basilio Badillo street,…but it feels like you are entering another world. We never ended up eating here, but the drinks were great and the staff friendly and attentive. We are looking forward to having dinner next time we are in town. Daniel, the proprietor, is a talented, all-purpose guy. He plays and sings with the band as well as offering group and private dance lessons. We had a private lesson on our recent trip and are already planning to have more on our next trip. If you are a serious dancer, you will probably want to make sure you bring a partner at this point. This is a relatively new venture, so make sure you go and bring your friends! This is a gem that needs to be around a long time.More
Thank you for let us know what you think about us, we’re glad you decided to come and have some fun in a little piece of Cuba at pv
Our friend had recommended this place off the beaten track. The restaurant is in a wonderful outdoor garden type of setting. We didn’t wait for the music ( for sure next time). The food was awesome, I had the authentic Cuban dish and my husband…had shrimp tacos on homemade tortillas. Both dishes were great and the service was awesome, Daniel the owner is very pleasant and because it was our first time he gave us 2 mojitos on the house. We will be going back for the food and for sure the salsa dancing.More
Muchas gracias Rubina we will be happy to see you guys here again you always be very welcome
Visiting here is like being a really good backyard party. The outdoor atmosphere is great, the service is great and the music is fantastic. These guys are just starting out and can really use your support. The location is a bit off the beating path…so don’t be discouraged or afraid of the dark street….it’s safe. And once you walk through the gates you will be transported to a world of fun, food and music.More
Thank you for your support my friend, we’re going to try our best to keep Dias de Rumba fun and delicious
We went here for dinner. The food was good and the atmosphere was pleasant. The staff were attentive and the service was good. The music does not start until 9pm so that was a bit late for us considering we had come for dinner at…7pm. It was very quiet the night we went. The music was very enjoyable…we stayed for the first set. Thank you to Daniel and your staff for making our evening memorable. Thank you also to Uriel.More
Thank you for staying until the live music starts, and sharing with us your comments, I will pass the thank you note to Uriel
Me and my wife were looking desperately for a place in PV to go out for dance to genuine Latino tunes which will be just enough crowded and decently priced for food and drinks. Not the overcrowded type of nightclub if you know what I…mean. Diaz de rumba delivered beyond expectations! What a great night with live band singing cuban and caraibean music, decently priced drinks and food, very friendly staff. Positive vibes and atmosphere. Definitely this will be a place to return every time when we will be back in Puerto Vallarta.More
Thank you for your review my friend, we’re glad that you enjoy our culture and music, we gonna be waiting for you guys next year take care
A friendly and exciting place. From 30 to 80. Listen to good music, watch folks dance or participate in the dancing. A lovely place off the beaten path, but only a few steps from Vallarta Ave in the Romantic Zone. Live music and reasonable drinks….Worth a visitMore
Gracias!!!! For visit us at Dias de Rumba, we hope to see you again soon
We had such a nice night at this place with the real Cuban live band, who played very well and the friendly and welcoming people. Danny was really good at anticipating while teaching us Salsa, which made it super fun and quick to learn. Thanks…Días de Rumba, for creating some awesome memories!More
Thank you for let us be part of your first time in Puerto Vallarta, hope to see you again
We came here on our last night in PV, and I’m so glad we did. The owner, Danny was super friendly and welcoming. My husband liked the place so much, he even purchased one of their shirts. There was a live band playing some great…Cuban music, if only we could salsa dance, lol. We missed the salsa lesson, but we enjoyed the band and the setting, its a beautiful open air space with palm trees and string lights, feels really tropical. We had some good mojitos too, didn’t try the food, but next trip to PV we’ll definitely return here.More
It was a pleasure to have you guys here, next time you have to take one of our free salsa lessons y dance salsa with the staff
We stopped by on a Friday evening – too early for a salsa lesson. No dancers there, no band. We left. Stopped by at 9:30 PM on Saturday evening – no dancers, the band stopped playing after 3 tunes. Maybe because it was low season…(May).More
I’m really sorry to disappointing you but it’s how I explained before, we where new in town and it’s a little hidden of the Main Street Ignacio l Vallarta that’s why no many people now about us yet, however our band play for 35min then…More
My friend Lynne and I were wandering down B Badillo after a relaxing massage, and Daniel appeared and asked us something about cuban food or music. His vibe was friendly and relaxed, so we followed him to his restaurant/bar and salsa dance club. As it…was early we did not hear the band, nor have the opportunity to take his free salsa lessons, but we did have the best mojito and a Cuban based appetizer in this family run warm and welcoming atmosphere. Oh and a shout out to Haziel, the bartender. We wish them well what a wonderful concept to embrace and addition to PV!More
Thank you for trusting in me and for let me show you our little piece of real Puerto Vallarta
Found Dias by accident but fell in love with the staff & ambience. Sort of hidden away…off Basillo Bodillo–part of its charm. Ended up giving a party my last PV night there. Music, dancing, fresh mango margaritas, yum food. No lack of smiles on the…great staff & musicians. A treasure!!More
My dear friend thanks for let us hosting your party hope to see you again
My wife and I went there for a free Salsa lesson. We met Daniel the owner who’s a great host. They have a live band playing music all night long. It is outdoor with palm trees. We felt like we were in Cuba. Great atmosphere,…great inexpensive drinks. We tried the 4 Marias Cuban dish and it was delicious! I found a new great hangout spot in Puerto Vallarta! Thank you Daniel!More
