We wandered in here back to our hotel. We were a little hungry, so I ordered some French fries and we had a couple of beers. The fries were hot and home made, and the beer was cold and SO cheap! The waitress, Abby, is…so lovely and attentive. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.More

Steps off the malecon everything is half the price and double the tasty. They just do burgers and they are fantastic. Most expensive burger and fries combo is 75 pesos. Beer is 20 pesos, vodka 40, michelada 45 but 60 if you add a garden…on top of it lol. And it’s cute to boot. Wish I had come sooner in my trip. A good change of pace if you want something familiar.More
This small place, just of the malecon serves good burgers at 45 pesos. Beer is cold and also reasonably priced. The décor is made from recycled pallets for a very rustic look.
Don Xicote is a small bar and restaurant, just steps off the malecon. The burgers are very good, made with fresh ingredients and the beef patties are made in house. Not the boxed frozen crap. They also serve some Mexican dishes. The pricing for food…and drinks is very reasonable.More

We had a great lunch: chicken strips and fries for the kids, shrimp salad and veggie burrito for my wife and me. Great atmosphere, good food, we will definitely come back.
Excellent food and excellent atomosphere. The owners are very friendly and made you feel like family. A well worth place to eat and when I come back here I will definitley eat there again
Just returned from eating a great burger and fries from this excellent little restaurant. The special burger has a large juicy pattie, bacon, hotdogs, lettuce, tomato, hot pepper and mayo. The medium fries order is larger than a large order in most places. All this…for 70 pesos. The young people that run the place are very nice. We’ll be going back for sure.More
Another gem in Vallerta. Don Xicotes is located a 30 second walk from the malecon. It is located right next to the door of the vallara jazz foundation. I had a giant cheese burger. It was flavorful, juice, called my name and served Hot. grilled…onions toppings as well Cost was 43 pesos add soda and fries for 15 pesos. Your choice of 4 cheeses. Limited seating outside but lots inside. Menu offers, breakfasts, burritas,tacos, sandwiches,hotdogs,quesadillas,chicken nuggets and morning coffees Great place clean and friendly. I live close by and will return often.More
