Fabulous food and drink! Marco Antonio was awesome with all his knowledge of Raicilla and his attention to to every detail for our evening. Seriously was our best night in PV and we were there for 12! Can’t wait to return. Our Chef daughter was…on cloud nine with the sampling of Raicilla she even bought 4 bottles. Well done La LuluMore
Music was way too loud. Very slow service. Ordered pizza, was ok. Cold though. Had a drink. It was ok also, but not great. Not rushing back that’s for sure.
This is the hipper side of the Barrio Bistro restaurant. Lulu serves raicilla – which is the northern cousin to Mezcal. Great cocktails on the menu and the barman can knock out some off the menu drinks with ease. There are enough different raicilla to…do flights. They have a pretty sophisticated bar menu which included bone marrow thanks to the kitchen at Barrio Bistro. The kicker is that you can order from the BB menu if you like the hipster vibe better than the more formal dining at BB. A shout-out to Chef Memo and his bartender!More
If you have never tried Raicilla, this is a must. It is the local moonshine made from the tips of the Agave plant and La Lulu distills it with perfection. Lots of flavours to choose from along with the manditory cocktails. Food is incredible with…Memo keeping the menu on point and delicious. La Lulu is off the beaten path but well known with locals and a great place for dinner.More
We just enjoyed a fantastic dining experience here! The food was fresh and delicious and the service superb. We came on a recommendation from a friend, and are so glad we did. Nice to get off the beaten tourist path and enjoy a local culinary…adventure !More
My husband and I are craft spirits and cocktail bloggers. We travel the world and experience culture through the food and drink of the region. We have seen a lot so it’s hard to be impressed anymore. We LOVED La Lulu so much, we went…back a second night. Huge selection of raicilla at reasonable prices. Try the Puntas…it’s amazing. Bartenders took great care of us and were very knowledgeable. Cocktails were great. Had a pizza from next door and it was delicious. Chef Memo came over and introduced himself and spent some time teaching us about his food and raicilla. We learned so much from everyone here and had a wonderful time. Worth your time!!More
Came for Saturday paella nothing like the picture on facebook . 1 cold mussel shrimp looked like from a can tiny tiny fishy …couldn’t tell if there was sausage in the paella. Had Panella app was ok . Had chicken wings dipping sauce was extremely…fishy . Drinks were good and our waitress was great but no way would I go back . Too bad thought it had potential but paella was terrible .More
I’m not sure if anyone would come here to this rather obscure location unless they were going to eat at Barrio Bistro, next door (reviewed separately). The decor is cozy, the music a bit loud, the drinks strong, the staff friendly. We came in after…seeing many people, all men, come in here from the restaurant. It turns out the men’s room is here. Oh, well. If you are coming to the restaurant, come early or stay late to have a drink here.More
Fun place and fun staff with a saxophone player on one of the nights we were there. Good selection of raicilla, maybe four in house selections with good food. Adjoins the excellent Barrio Bistro restaurant in a quiet away from main traffic area.
A cute fun place. Good food, good vibe, good drinks. I would go there every day if I could. Try the drink pata salada.
LaLuLu is the new bar in town ! Mixology at its best , the food is amazing , they had live music the night we went , the decoration is beautiful and original . It’s a good place to go with friends and try all…the various Racillas they offer , My favorite the Jamaica Racilla ! Yummy and it’s right next door to Barrio Bistro the best restaurant in town ! What more can you ask for ?? Go go goMore
