Fantastic surroundings and interior. We got four waiters dedicated to our table. Absolutely fantastic food! High price range. Memorable visit!
We’re travel and restaurant junkies and, at only four stars, this place is grossly underrated. In fact, it is right at the top of the list when compared to anywhere we’ve been… anywhere in the world. The service is second to none, with two dedicated…waiters at our table everytime we went. Whoever designed the concept was an absolute genius, second only to the chief who made the most amazing dishes from both simple local ingredients and from imports from around the globe. You can spend as much as you like but much of the menu is affordable, even by local higher end standards. The more famous and higher rated place 1km to the north is a pale shadow in comparison (we ate there twice too).More
This was our 5th visit and happy to say the food and service remain excellent. The vibe has changed from a low-light hip deluxe space to a bit more corporate and crowded aura. Even the huge video screen seems to have adopted tourism vistas in…place of wild natural scenes. The best of the music is hopping but the waiters and carts seem to have quit dancing, and feels a bit crowded. We’ll be back, but sorry others will miss the original vibe.More
The Bad – The people that work here are a bunch of con artists, they will bring a platter on ice with different seafoods and meats even before they show you the menu. They will then upsell and pressure you into ordering from this platter….Do not fall for this as some of the items are insanely expensive even by US standards. The food itself is average at best and it felt like a tourist trap. I realized the mistake within a minute but they refused to change my order. Oh well, you live and learn, insist on seeing the menu before you order anything. The good – I read the reviews about the waiters collectively doing this to increase the tips and I walked out without tipping a single dollar. I was able to get a hold of the manager who was kind enough to mention that tips are not included and I told him that he should be ashamed of himself for running a business like this. I needed a win after all 😉More
I came to this restaurant for my birthday dinner, and this was the absolute best experience I have ever had at a restaurant in my entire life! It is beautiful, so many gorgeous aspects. The staff was so friendly and personable. From the start of…my visit until the very end, my experience was truly wonderful! I felt very celebrated and very special! The drinks were amazing and the food was incredible!!! There were so many waiters and everyone jumped in to continuously check on myself and my sister one person in specific was Jorge! He made me feel incredibly special on my birthday! His smile is so friendly and welcoming! Even the manager was walking around the entire time we were there checking on people he was awesome as well!!! I highly recommend this place if you’re visiting!!!More
I don’t often leave a 5 star review but this place in my opinion and that of the whole family deserves it. We visited twice during our trip in PV, the first time for dessert only and the second to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We…were very impressed by the warm greeting followed by a genuinely nice and respectful treatment by all the employees. And the food, oh my goodness the food is just amazing, from the presentation to the drinks to the appetizers to the main course and topped off with a delicious dessert! Some will say overpriced because it’s Mexico but in my opinion(and I’m Mexican) it’s totally fair and definitely worth every penny. Freshly made, tasty gourmet dishes.More
We arrived for an early dinner and were met by multiple serving staff. Everyone seemed to have a different task, all in an effort to make your visit a wonderful experience. A little overwhelming at first if you are not accustomed to the level of…service. They assisted us with the menu as we spoke English and understood a bit of Spanish. The food was presented and served well and we had a great meal. I had shrimp risotto and my husband had the filet of beef. More of an upscale place with prices that would compare to home (Canada). Try it for a special occasion dinner!More
This is a gem in Puerto vallarta. There’s 4 establishment in Mexico. Guadalajara, DF, Monterey. If you are in any if these cities, I truly recommend to go and have a formidable culinary experience. The presentation of the food to your table for the choosing…of your meal is a great idea. The selection is diverse for any culinary taste. From seafood to meat to poultry. The meals are cook to your desire and the attention to details make the presentation rise your appetite. All of these is only surpassed by the service and the attention to the customer. The decorations complete the enjoyable experience. Quality always come at a price. But the overall quality and experience is well worth the price. Better call for reservation. In my case, since I was alone they were able to seat me very quickly. Thank you to the owner, David I believe. Will return.More
The squadron of waiters was overwhelming. The sales presentations of wagyu, Kobe, king crab, lobster and fishes were over-the-top and he incorrectly identified the fish. (We had two fishermen in our party but the mistakes would be obvious to a non-fisherman.) The beef filet was…incredible, I would return to enjoy this dish. The sashimi was meh. The Kosh sauce they have was outstanding. The fly that crawled out of my Caesar salad was disgusting. Our experience was not relaxing and enjoying dinner, we spent the evening swatting away flies. They tried lighting rosemary but it did nothing but leave a thick smoke cloud. they might have closed the windows. the drink cart has a dozen or so bottles of syrup, flies should have gone there. they adjusted our bill by taking off the salad but adding it to the sashimi. (we were quoted a different price for the sashimi than we were charged.) really wanted to like this place.More
When we first arrived for lunch they sat us at our table. There were about 6 people hovering over us. They also wheeled in a drink cart to our table. They was heavy pressure to order drinks. They gave us drink menus but no food…menu which we had to demand. This was not a good start. It is said as the restaurant itself is very nice both indoor and outside. We ordered hamburgers for lunch. The burgers were not very good and the fries were under cooked. I would avoid this Vegas style restaurant that is trying too hard but does not have its act together.More
One of the most awesome restaurant I have visited in my lifetime. As a travel blogger and Level 15 Restaurant Expert on Trip Advisor I rate this restaurant as 10/10. The food and cocktails were out of the world. No words to describe the ambiance…and the crowd. Compliments to the entire staff for looking after all the guests remarkably.More
We came here for dinner for my friend’s bachelorette. We were treated like absolutely royalty. The food and the service were absolutely perfect. But I cannot say enough about Hiram. He was so pleasant, friendly, accommodating and professional. He made our evening amazing with a…happy smile and an awesome attitude. I think everyone who goes to PV needs to visit this restaurant. BEWARE. We were encouraged to order the “birthday special” drink and was not told the price beforehand. One would assume it would be between $10-15 USD but when we got the bill it was $68 USD FOR A DRINK. Make sure you ask for prices…before allowing them to bring you anything. DISHONEST BUSINESS PRACTICES. After expressing how upset I was about being taken advantage that way, neither the manager nor server would do anything about it, no discount, nothing. Will not be eating here again. Disappointed by the lack of good business practices.More
We found this restaurant right next to our condo so we thought we would try it! We were so impressed with our greeting. We had four gentleman seat us at our table and a dedicated waiter the entire time we were there!! The food was…awesome and our waiter, Ceaser was so much fun!! We went back the next evening and had a blast there!!More
Although it is true that the food is good, the complaints are spot on. DO NOT order specials off the menu without asking the price! We were SHOCKED that our special cocktail came to $62 US EACH. Drinks from the menu were reasonable for an…upscale place. Disgusting business practice. Other complaints of music too loud and distracting electronic wall also valid.More
