My husband and I have breakfast here several times every year we visit PV. It is constantly good. They offer a variety of food from Mexican favorites to American breakfasts, all are delicious and made with the freshest ingredients. My husband ordered orange juice with…his breakfast and it was fresh squeezed as we watched them prepare it. They offer many types of fruit juices as well as smoothies and their coffee is always great! It is definitely worth going there.More

In past years, this little restaurant was packed. Tables were surrounding the atrium and waits were expected. We haven’t been to breakfast there in a while so more patrons could be there. We usually make dinner or lunch. Again, this is a restaurant that is…willing to make changes so people with allergies can find something delicious to eat. Guacamole is a must have for my wife and I. This restaurant will make it onion free. One excellent dish is “Enchanted Shrimps”. These are shrimps wrapped with bacon and cheese with rice. For the last several years, coconut shrimp was available everywhere; this year, finding coconut shrimp requires some searching. One specialty at La Mision is Mexican coffee. This is coffee with cinnamon in it. Drinks are excellent too! The wait staff are great! Breakfasts include such things as eggs, omelettes, pancakes, bacon and other items you would like such as orange juice.More

We ate here a least 6 times during our 9 day stay. Go in hungry and you will leave stuffed. The Chorizo omelets are great, as well as the orange juice. (But it is good every place we ate)

We didn’t want to spend $49 on breakfast again so we decided to Walk to La Mission. So glad we did. The food was tasty and the atmosphere was nice. We both ordered pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, and potatoes for roughly $16 before tip. The waiter…was very friendly. We walked from the Sheraton Buganvillas and it was about a 10 minute walk.More

One of the closest restaurant to our resort, Sheraton. We wanted a real Mexican breakfast our first morning in PV. Nice courtyard setting. Filled with locals, we were the only gringos. Husband order the Provincial skillet…89 pesos so less than $5.00. with potatoes, tomatoes, eggs,…pepper and a side of bacon. I ordered the poached eggs with chilies. It was like an Egg’s B Mexican style. Poached eggs over toast with a spicy dark sauce almost like a mole with chilaquiles, beans and corn tortillas for 59 pesos…$3.00, very good. Good attentive service. Wanted to get back and try something off their lunch/ dinner menu but ran out of time.More

We had fajitas and carne asada… Both were delicious even though we had expected a little more spice. Service was fantastic and the ambiance of the little courtyard enticed and relaxed us. Lunch is a great value and they have an impressive menu. Again, another…great little local place for eats. I recommend.More

I have been to this restaurant numerous times for breakfast. They serve breakfast late until 1:00pm. Their special is Mx$109 for 2 eggs, 2 sausage, 2 strips bacon, 2 pancakes with a small side fried potatoes & refried beans. A large breakfast at a great…price. Coffee is good as well as their fresh orange juice. Service was always excellent. Cozy courtyard lobby restaurant with a laid back atmosphere.More

I really don’t want to tell you how great this place is. I’m afraid it won’t be the best kept secret it currently is. The prices are amazing, the people are wonderful, the culture is amazing. I can’t wait to go back.

Our go-to breakfast place once we discovered it. Easy to get to via bus. From here can go anywhere else by bus or walk to the Malecon. Generous servings. Great prices. The menu is not extensive, but all the food we tried was good. If…you want to make a change to any menu item, just ask; the folks here are very accommodating. Our server every day was Javier. Javier treated us as royalty and as friends. This was a relaxed way to start the day. We enjoyed the modest open-air setting. It is a little run-down, but I just thought of it as ambiance. Thank you for making our first visit to PV so pleasant, Javier!More

We have visited La Mission several times for breakfast while we are staying at the Sheraton. It is just a short walk. They offer a Grande Breakfast for 89 pesos (about $5). It includes eggs, beans, tortillas, 2 bacon and 2 sausage and wonderful potatoes….The potatoes are new potatoes cooked with large pieces of onion and green and red peppers. Delicious! The service is always good too. Last visit my husband added orange juice and they made his to order. Mmm. The restaurant tables are in the lobby/courtyard of the small hotel. A very relaxing visit.More
