I have recently moved to PV for six months, and I adore eating at Los Mariachiles. Hector is amazing, and takes great care of me each time I visit! The food is out of this world. Hector definitely goes the extra mile, delivering excellent service,…and welcomes me like I am one of the family.More

The best location in Puerto Vallarta, excellent ambiance, superb service, and wonderful food are combined with a gorgeous waterfront view. You can have a $10 lunch or dinner.

Hector will give you a warm Mexican welcome to his restaurant complete with complimentary tequila shots and crazy photo opportunities. This is the perfect place for a group dinner and you will have fun! The service was excellent and our dinners were delicious. Gracias Hector!

Our last dinner of the vacation was such a great experience! The atmosphere at the waterside restaurant was very authentic Mexican including the Day of the Dead family altar to honour the relatives of the owner. The food was outstanding: Red Snapper, nachos, shrimp ceviche,…chicken with mushrooms and spinach salads. The waiters were so efficient, friendly and helpful. After dinner we were given complimentary house tequila ( a lovely reposado sipping tequila). The owner had fun with us donning everyone with oversized sombreros and the ladies holding silly monkeys. We laughed so much during this dinner, such a fun evening!More

This restaurant caught our eye with its colorful tables and setting at the Marina. The food was excellent and service was attentive. We had the usual Mexican fare— enchiladas, molcajete, skirt steak— but also a guacamole and shrimp appetizer and tortilla soup (both excellent). The…meal was graced by the owner greeting us at the end…a lovely time.More

After we sat down, it took at least 10 minutes before the waiter came. He seemed to be in a bad mood and not wanting to work. Unfortunately it didn’t get better with the food or the rest of our dinner. The restaurant was slow…so don’t understand why the service was so bad. I would NOT recommend this restaurant based on our bad service and food experience.More

I really wanted to like Los Mariachiles but the food just wasn’t very good. My mahi mahi was supposed to be in a spicy “Devils Sauce” but instead came out in some sort of sickly sweet and sour sauce. Guacamole was poorly made (way too…much lime), fajitas didn’t sizzle, and to top things off I watched two male servers use the mens room and then exit the bathroom (the sink is outside the bathrooms and shared by mens and womens) and neither washed their hands before returning to work. Pretty patio though.More

Love the marina restaurants for 15 years and never had a bad meal until this evening. I and my two friends each had issues with our meals. I ordered a shrimp cocktail and it arrived served in a hot liquids – none of the shrimp…had been cleaned – I cleaned each individual shrimp before eating them. I also ordered tortilla soup which I have eaten many times – this soup was served cold and incredibly spicy so I sent it back after one taste. I was not charged for the soup. One friend ordered whole red snapper which was passable but it was not hot nor was the rice. My second friend ordered coconut shrimp with pineapple sauce – the shrimp came cold without sauce and the potatoes were cold. No one ever checked to see how food was and we had to ask for the bill four times. When we had the opportunity to get someone’s attention to lodge our complaints we were offered a piece of cake. I would not recommend this restaurant.More

This outdoor restaurant has nice covered seating options overlooking the marina. On my visit, I opted for the breakfast special (150 pesos) a classic American style breakfast featuring eggs any style, choice of breakfast meat, potatoes, toast, juice and coffee. My eggs were properly cooked…(I ordered scrambled). The bacon was very poor quality, fatty and not at all crisp. The potatoes were very mushy, made into a patty and fried. The toast was French bread that had been brushed with fat and briefly exposed to a grill. Coffee was very average. Juice was good. There were quite a few staff members around but the service was uneven. I had to ask 4 times for a glass of water. While I liked the setting and the price was reasonable, I wouldn’t rush back for the breakfast special.More

While the guacamole was tasty – the rest of the meal was not. The tacos especially came with the meat and shredded carrots only – no sauce or other toppings at all – or even options for them. On top of it all the service…was terrible- with the waiter disappearing for long periods of time. I would not go back.More

We took friends from out of town to Los Maria Chiles for dinner after a day at the pool and beach. They had the enchiladas and the Mexican plate; we ordered the breaded chicken and the chef salad. The food was exceptional! Our friends declared…the margaritas the best in the Marina and wanted to know the name of the tequila used. They are still raving over the drinks- ( and they drank margaritas at every restaurant we visited) Service of course is always impeccable, and Beto the owner came to visit our table and check on our meal. Our only regret is we didn’t get to bring them for breakfast before they left. Maria Chiles breakfasts are the best in the Marina- fluffy pancakes and light as air waffles, fresh fruit and juices- absolutely divine! One of our favorite restaurants- we keep coming back, and they don’t disappoint!More

We ate here several times while in PV from 2/17 to 2/27/21. Their food is excellent as are their drinks. While the food is great, what is also great is the view of the marina. The place is nice enough that my wife felt comfortable…waiting for me while I finished a massage and she had one of their Cadillac margaritas while she waited. They were very attentive to her needs as well as ours when I arrived. The prices are very reasonable as well. This is a wonderful addition to the restaurant choices at the marina. While we never had breakfast there, they do offer a very inexpensive breakfast consisting of eggs, bacon and toast.More
