I just had a Michelada here (which is basically a beer with Bloody Mary mix added). I got charged 270 pesos ($14.10 USD). I was not even sitting at one of their overpriced beach chairs. I was just at the bar. I got online after…leaving and checked their drink menu online. A shot of Crown Royal or Jack Daniels is 300 pesos ($15.67 USD) . The prices for their specialty drinks, like Pina Coladas, etc iare not even shown. Even they must be shocked by those prices.More

I was invited to Sunday Brunch at Mango’s Beach Club, by a very good friend. I had never visited this restaurant in the past. It is open from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm daily and is located beachside at Uruguay 109, 5 de Diciembre, 48350…Puerto Vallarta, Jal., Mexico, a few blocks from Highway 200. It has a few stairs, as well as wheelchair access. I was greeted at the door and led to my friend’s table. They have good sized tables throughout the restaurant, close to the buffet table as well as next to the beach. We were immediately waited on for drinks. The waitress also brought a smaller coat stand to accomodate our purses. Mango’s has a complete menu as well as a full bar, however, as we were going to enjoy the buffet, we were advised that we could help ourselves at our convenience. They have a chef to prepare personal omelettes with several toppings available. I chose a ham, onion, mushroom and cheese omelette. Delicious! The menu for brunch also consisted of a variety of entrees such as picadillo (ground beef with potatoes, carrots and onions in a gravy), mischaca (shredded meat with scrambled eggs, peppers, onions in a gravy), rajas (peppers) and onions in a white creme sauce, refried beans, pork ribs, pancakes, an assortment of cereals, fresh fruit and cinnamon rolls. All was very good. Our waitress was very attentive and made sure our coffee cups were kept full. My friend and I enjoyed a relaxing time catching up on each others lives, and in no point in time did we feel rushed to leave. I thoroughly enjoyed my brunch. I personally will definitely return with other family members and friends.More

Price for day access has doubled from 2020. Takes away much of the value considering the drinks are ruthlessly watered down. Food is still good. Service is good. Nice spot on the beach too. Been here many times but won’t be back. Better options elsewhere.

I just went in for one drink at the bar and a view of the ocean. Great bartender and excellent drink. Horrible atmosphere. Is it a gym? Is it a bar? Is it a scam? Yes to the last one. Per their conversion rate, my…160 peso drink was 18 USD. When I tried to discuss this, I was dismissed and treated horribly. Needless to say, even showing the international conversion rate didn’t help. Don’t waste your money on needless hype. Go to one of the many other excellent local spots that won’t rip you off.More

We made a reservation for breakfast and had them them reserve the beach chairs. The breakfast was very good both the eggs and the pancake entrees. The service was excellent…but the music was a little too loud.

Relaxed beach club that is well ordered with good service and friendly staff. Good value food and the drinks aren’t too bad either. Music is a touch loud but I’m showing my age!

At first, we receive good service at the beach reception of drinks was good but when we order something for lunch we wait almost 2.5 hours and the fish tacos we order were almost empty. We never receive something as a compensation or a proper…apology. Not recommendedMore

It’s not the 1st time I’ve been here, but it’s probably the last. I don’t care if you have an event going on, I – no, none should be sitting with an empty bottle in front of them for 15min. Also explain your math- I…asked if instead of 1 beer for 40 pesos you could roll that into and convert it to a bucket for 350 pesos. The server said no without even checking. Makes no damn sense. So instead of having 350, you settle for 40 with no tip because of your crappy slow service. I don’t care what I look like walking in there, maybe ask around who I am first. I was planning on ordering food also, but now I’ll let people know to stay away unless you “fit their profile” of who they think deserves service. Sorry I’m not a 20 something female in a bikini. I got a couple coins tho. Your bad. I’ll make sure to let my wife know to stop referring people as well from her resort. Oh that’s right- we’re locals, and she works at the only 5 diamond resort in Jalisco. Great job!More

Found this place when walking thru downtown PV, what a gem. The food and drinks were fantastic. If you like the day club vibe its a fantastic place. We sat at people watched for hours and had some great drinks. We sat in restaurant, not…on beach as we had our 15 year old and he thought it was so cool. I would totally go back and have fun with my friendsMore

I had a great time at Mango’s before heading to the airport to go home (which explains the sad-looking face). The fish tacos were awesome, and so was our waiter, William! I’d say this place dished out the best pina colada I’ve had in PV….I will be back for sure.More

First came to mangos in July 2020, and we came back October 9th! The employees are amazing. Very tentative and really pay attention to the guests. You can sit out on the beach (many chairs/couches and umbrellas) or eat inside. The food/drinks and delicious and…you cannot beat the view. We also love it because they have water toys that are easy accessible if you want to enjoy them! Will be back in November for a 30th birthday trip and we cannot wait!!! Thank you mangos for always providing us with great memories!More
