This is one of the most authentique restaurant in the bay, if you want to try really spicy kick ass good and dirty yummy food this is the place, don’t forget to ask for your michelada and margarita.
The coconut shrimp was so over cooked that it was hard to eat. We don’t need to go there again. The staff was friendly but that wasn’t enough to get us back.
This place is associated with the chain of restaurants in Chicago. If you think the Chicago dishes are Delicious, wait till you try this place! AMAZING!!!!! And Sooooo conveniently priced. We had Camarones Zarandeados, Fried Shrimp, Mejillones all DELICIOUS. No regrets!
This place has *great* Mexican “native” food, very inexpensive, unique atmosphere. Be warned the staff No Habla Ingles, you’re on your own interpreting the menu. Their slogan translates “A Little Poison Won’t Kill You,” a resilient attitude. Veneno is located ~300 metres from Canto del…Sol/Villa Vallartes; put it on your list, but don’t go there on the 1st day or 2 your visit — you will experience severe Culture Shock 🙂More
