Went here for the 3rd and final pescado zarandeado I had on our trip, and it didn’t disappoint. Was by far the best of the three, and way better than that at a much more famous place in the Zona Romantica that I won’t mention…by name. Crab enchiladas, the aquachile, and drinks were fantastic, too. Really lovely building with lots of exposed brick. Would go back in a second.More

We have been coming since 2000, this year we were lucky enough to have tasting to the new dishes they’ll be having. Everything on the menu is a must!

We were recommended Marisco’s Tino’s El Pitillal by a local and will be returning…without a doubt. The red snapper “zarandeado” and coconut shrimp were delicious beyond belief, and Jose’s service was even better. By Mexican and American standards, this place is gold!More

We stumbled on Tinos by accident. We were having dinner at La Leche and were served a drink made with an incredible tequila. When we inquired how to buy the tequila, they told us we could only get it from the distiller itself, and at…Tino‘s. our waiters also said that Tino‘s had unbelievable food. So we decided to have an adventure and go to a restaurant we knew nothing about. Wow, what an experience! Absolutely the best seafood we had on our entire trip. Super fresh, and amazing options. We ate a ton, and drink fantastic margaritas. And also went away with four bottles of tequila to take home to the states. It’s not in the main tourist area, but it’s super safe and a cheap taxi ride. Our driver even offered to stay and wait for us at no additional charge. We bought him dinner for the convenience. We cannot wait to go back to Tinos. It will be our first restaurant probably every trip. You will not be disappointed, and if you have young kids they have a fabulous play area off to the side. Go! Great food and great atmosphere. Super fun. and pick up the tequila if they have it in stock. I’ve attached a picture.More

We just had delivery of two coconut-mango shrimp dinners with amazing sauces, fresh coleslaw, and flan to share. FABULOUS! (Also piña coladas for the full coconut experience!)

Fabulous lunch at Tino’s. I had the Popeye fillet for my main course, it was fabulous to look at and even better to devour with manchego cheese and fresh spinach! We started with marlin tacos and shrimp empanadas. There was shedded carrots with the shrimp….Yum! I had a a piña colada, that was icy and delicious and was kind of my dessert since I was too full to order anything else and took home enough for two more meals. (I never take pictures of my meals, but regret that today- the tomato was cut into a rose!) Service was keen and friendly. Everything came promptly.More

The service was excellent. The prices are very reasonable. The food was simply outstanding. We tried the seafood stuffed fish, the Tino’s shrimp and the garlic fillet and all were delicious. We will certainly return.

Party of 4, expecting great seafood our expectitatios were not fulfilled. Fish ceviche as a started was good, nothing else. Clam chowder was awful, it was butter with flour, no flavor at all. Ordered a seafood sharing platter with: lobster, shrimp, octopus, crab, etc. it…was all over cooked. I have to say, service was very good, but kitchen needs a lot of work.More

The restaurant is little out of the way but worth the trip. On this night we had the stuffed fish which was excellent and the filet mignon which was just okay but, you have to remember this is a seafood restaurant. Prices are very reasonable….The service was outstanding. We will definitely return.More

Simply the best restaurant in Pitallal. We have been coming here for years. Most all taxi drivers know the location. Very good food in a nice clean restaurant with friendly servers. lol

We’ve been going to Tino’s in Pitillal for over 30 years and having taken many friends. When we stay in town, we’ll go numerous times to eat, it’s that good! The cab ride may make you wonder but you’re traveling over the streets the locals…use and eat at a restaurant they love…. what better recommendation! They’ll recognize you when you go and give you exceptional service. Everything is delicious. Wish I was there right now!!!More
We asked our taxi driver for a place to get a cold drink and appetizers. We were greeted by the owner, ordered fresh salsa and guacamole, and received excellent service. The owner mentioned that he had been there over 30 years and showed us a…delectable plate of fresh fish options. If only we had been there for lunch or dinner we would certainly been satisfied. This restaurant is in Pitillal. It has been a Tino’s restaurant for years. Renamed, still serving great food along with super service. A very nice restaurant.
Tino’s original Calle Avenida No 333, Centro El Pitallal. Do not let the cab ride discourage you! Once you’re there you’ll get it. Superior service. Superior food. Once you go you will go again and again. Love Tino’s!
