Cook is a jerk, owners daughter is no better. We have been going to munchies for eight years. My wife needed to use the restroom and was charged 10 pesos to due so. No we were not customers at the time but had been there…six times in two weeks. We will not go back.More
People oriented, great daily specials, pleasant surroundings, a real treat you like you’re family place. I highly recommend Roscios cooking, and Blanca at the bar are the absolute BEST!

If you are looking for a great place to have a cold beer and talk to great people there is no better place than Monchis. Any time I am in Puerto Vallarta, I make sure this is one of the first places I visit. The…staff is the best, Blanca and Rosie are 2 of the nicest people you will ever meet and are always extremely nice to all the customers. I can honestly say I have never had a bad time at this bar. Ava one of the other bartender’s is a joy to see, she is always full of energy and will make you glad you chose to stop in at Monchis. So if you are looking for a simple place to meet good people and have an excellent cold beverage on a hot day or night this is the place.More
We ended up here by chance, we were originally heading next door but it was to crowded. The drinks are strong and cold and the bartender is lovely <3 We came back again the next day for lunch, met some great locals, had a terrific...meal! Cant wait to come back for a visit next month.More
Eccentric, spontaneous and all around a great place to hangout. Wonderful service! Ice cold beer and mixed drinks also offer traditional Mexican food. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday breakfast lunch and dinner specials. Located very close to Malecon, party scene and plenty of taxis. Went here 2 times last week for a drink and to watch from sports. Divey bar, but that’s ok. Nothing fancy here. Drinks were cold and reasonably priced. You can hear the band from the next door bar (Pour Favors) so that is good if…you want to hear them. Bartender was friendly.More
not your typical sports bar, not a place for children but the food is good and the staff is very friendly clean and four large tvs to wath sports
Love this place. Drinks are cold and the owner and staff are friendly and they speak english. Lunch is served mist Tuesdays and Thursdays. Rocia is a great cook.
Very fun. No smoking inside…..smoking patio outside. Dog friendly. great service and friendly customers. Will definitely return again and again.
I have been to this bar many times….drinks are a good pour. Prices very reasonable. The décor is clean quaint not loud sports bar. There is inside with the bar , where it is small about 10 ft. on the long side and 5ft on…the other 2 sides. some tables and chairs and open window to the street. There is a terrace in the back, which is nice and airy…no great atmosphere but good cocktails. I go to see my friends and everyone there is friendly. They don’t have all of the sports channels that they used to have but that doesn’t bother me….they have the important stuff and I go there to talk with my friends not watch sports.More
Love going in the Summer as they give you refrigerated washcloths to cool you off. They will order food in for you from a variety of nearby restaurants as they have no kitchen. We go after a boys night out for nightcaps. Blanca offers great…service and the drinks are cheap.More

Only ever have stopped in for later night drinks, but, certainly lives up to it’s name……Third Base (last stop before home).
We were actually looking for another bar and thought this was it. Spent a couple hours here talking with ex pat USA and Canadian folk. Made it back 4 – 5 times during our 10 day trip. Pretty divey but very friendly people. Good place…to watch some sports. No food.More
