One block down from Playa Los Arcos. Great street tacos made right in front of you coupled with cold coca colas. Great for kids too – they had cheese quesadillas, and you could choose flour or tortilla. Highly recommend the tacos al pastor, with onion…and cilantro. So good! Have a good selection of ice cold beverages as well. Service was quick and friendly. They have little tables to eat at, or carry them down to the beach.More

This is a little taco stand with a small open, indoor area to sit. The tacos are made right there in front of you, to order. Hot and fresh…does it get any better? They are crazy good! Our toddler ate everything, so that tells you…it’s good!More
We googled tacos and this place came up. Only two blocks away so thought we would give it a whirl. Pleasantly supised. Good cheap food. Great tacos. Aga deinkmon the side as suggested by staff member.

I like to eat here and do ever time. The Husband and Wife team are nice … They usually have AGA drink. The Pastor Tacos are good and sometime better then Pancho’s. Pancho’s are great, but only if they are slow and have time for…the meat to cook. Recommend this place and will see them in a few days – 12//2018More
This was recommend by a friend and when I went I was in heaven! I had tacos al pastor and a hamburguesa (hamburger ) and oh boy! I kept wanting more ! Also very cheap ! This is my got to while in pvr !
The super friendly family running this taco stand makes some of the tastiest affordable food in PV. Get it to eat in the little “dining room” or para llevar to take with you to the beach a few steps away or back to your room….Great tacos, quesadillas, tortas, hamburguesas, etc, made before your eyes on the grill. Top it off with a cold refresco and you’ve got a really inexpensive, delicious meal in a couple of minutes. One of my favorite places in the city. A little hard to find, it’s just around the corner from Playa los Arcos hotel off of Olas Altas. Def worth a detour!More
I’m not exaggerating! We stumbled upon Peter & Carmen’s on our way to our beach in front of Los Arcos. When you see locals eating there, you know it’s a great spot. We ate here several times, taking the tacos to go and bringing it…back to our beach spot. Our favorite was the pork tacos – yum! And it’s the best deal in town. We fed our family of three for about $4 US dollars for lunch.More
The food here is great. The number 1 combo (5 tacos and a drink for 75 pesos) is an amazing deal and never fails to satisfy. Been going here for years and still satisfied with the food.
I love their small, soft chicken tacos, with beans and avocado sauce. I can get 4 plus a drink for under 100 pesos. Their menu is short but everything is prepared on a taco cart outside their eating area. I eat there or get takeaway…to eat by the beach or at my hotel. I have never had a bad meal there. For you worriers, I ate there 4 times this past trip, and 3-4 time for several week long trips over the past few years (easily 20 + meals) and never got sick from their food. (I think a short menu assures everything to be fresh.) This is truly local fare with no bells or whistles, and a personal favorite!More
We discovered Peter and Carmens years ago on a visit to PV, when they were just a cart with no seating. They now have a small store front (still the cart for cooking) for seating. Thier street tacos are in the top two of all…PV. The flavors of the tacos are AMAZING. We love this place and hope they stay in business for years so we can visit them again. Very friendly people; very inexpensive and great great tacos. If you want the other of the top two stands go one block to the south and there is a little stand there that is great also.More

I ate at Peter and Careen’s taco stand again several times this last trip (Dec 2016). It is just a short walk from Los Muertos Pier. I think their tacos are as good as any I tried in Puerto Vallarta. You can get a good…sized meal for just a few dollars. There was never more than a short wait, even when other places had long lines. I both sat at their semi-outdoor tables and did take-away. For those who worry about eating in Mexico from a taco stand, the food was always fresh and hot (prepared before your eyes) and I never got sick. The menu is fairly short, maybe 6 or 7 main items with your choice of chicken beef, or pork, plus cold drinks. This place is a winner whether you want a bargain (feed 4 for under $10) or just great tacos!More
