Super clean, friendly staff, fresh and house made food, fun ambiance. After an afternoon of shopping, we enjoyed a fantastic lunch of authentic tacos, beans, salsas, and enchiladas. Great place away from the crowds and noise. Authentic delicious food. Prices were affordable as well.

You had me at tacos! I went with the chicken, pastor, and churizo tacos. All 3 were solid, If i hadn’t just eaten my weight in foood at another returaunt less than an hour ago, I can confidently say that I would have ordred another…2-3 rounds of the pastor tacos and given some of their menu offerings a try as well. Service was very attentive (although we showed up in the middle of the day, and there were only two other tables sat). But if you are able to find them while youre in downtown PVR, it’s definetly worth a stop in; they’re off the beaten oath a little. You’ll have to leave the main strip of restaurants and shops on the main strip and head towards the hills. Bottom line: good food at a really good price, great break from all the tourist traps on the board walk. **** CAUTION: CASH ONLY ****More

Stopped for a quick snack while touring through the Malecon. Spent about $14 USD for 6 tacos, and 2 drinks!

We ate here after doing the Art Walk on a Wednesday. Pinatas is a family run taco restaurant. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. We split an order of fish tacos (4 in the order) and each had a beer. They asked us if we…wanted the fish deep fried or pan fried. We chose the deep fried which was a good choice. The tacos were very tasty and the one order filled both my husband and me. While we were waiting for our order they gave us some chips and guacamole. We both are sensitive to cilantro and they made it without for us. We really enjoyed out experience at this restaurant.More

Nice, friendly staff who provide excellent service. Whilst the food is reasonably priced, it’s quite average, catering for the tourist interpretation of Mexican food.

We stopped in looking for a cool drink and a light snack. Very accommodating and welcoming AND the margaritas are generous in size and very reasonably priced. Very yummy tacos (also inexpensive). Returned for lunch later in the week and was as delighted with the…service drinks and food. Plan to return. Highly recommended.More

We ate here last night. Friendly staff. Great service. And most important great food. Large portions at a very good price. The arrachera with guacamole was incredible. It did take a little while to get our food. Then they explained that everything is prepared when…it is ordered, even the guacamole. We will be back.More

Heard about it and stopped in with my wife. We have certain taco stands that we know are safe because we come to PV a lot. Ordered quesadillas with steak and side of boiled beans. OMG were they good. Ordered a couple more. Staff were…very talkative and prices were really cheap. Highly recommend, especially if you’re walking down the Malecon and have no idea where to eat and don’t want to pay tourist prices for the same crap.More

Dec 3, 2019 Pinatas Tacos Puerto Vallarta Needing a quick bite after a lovely massage. We stopped into Pinatas Tacos. Service was great with a friendly, fun, young man. I had two Pastor tacos and my friend had a chorizo quesadilla. Freshly prepared, served hot…with 3 different salsa and an avocado slice on top of the tacos. An inexpensive snack or lunch. A colorful little place off the beaten track appeared to be quite clean. Would return at any time.More

We spotted the Taco sign from the Malecon and decided to wander down to street to check it out as we wanted something a little off the beaten track. It was empty when we arrived which made me a little nervous but quickly filled up…with repeat customers so my confidence returned. We ordered 4 Tilapia tacos a chicken and a beef along with the guacamole and chips. Everything was fresh and amazing! The chicken tacos were a particular hit with the kids and we ended up ordering 2 more. The young man who served us couldn’t have been more nice and welcoming. I’m so happy we chose to end our stay with a visit to this little gem. Make sure to check it out on your way back from the observation tower.More

This is right by the ChocoMuseo. We just happened upon it. The chicken tacos here were so great that my lazy 12 year old son was willing to walk quite a ways out of the way to come back a second time in 2 days….The sauces were excellent! Great prices as well! Friendly service!More
