I can’t even describe how good this burger is! And the French fries! I came, because my wife had previously spent the day here watching sports and had told me I had to try the burger, and she wasn’t wrong. What makes this place even…better, is how friendly everyone is, workers, owner, and patrons. They’ll pay whatever game you want to watch on one of their many screens. Also, important to note, they are super LGBTQ friendly!More
Our group stopped by Players a few days before the Seahawks vs Buccaneers game to see if they were going to be open since it started at 8:30 am. Don, the owner, said that he would open early and would come up with something for…breakfast since they usually open at 11 am. Our group of six had a great time! They had delicious breakfast burritos and the bartender had Don make a booze run so he wouldn’t run out of what we were drinking (we do a shot after every Seahawks touchdown). We are from the Seattle area and found out that Don is as well and had just purchased the bar in August. He was very friendly and it was fun to hear his story. I would definitely go back and would recommend it for other sports fans in PV looking for a place to watch their favorite team. The only negative…the Seahwaks lost. 🙁More
Vikings so a good time was had by all. Food servings were generous and tasty. Alert: only takes cash BUT owner Ron worked with the guys when the girls took off with all the cash!!!
Not sure what David experienced, however, the food here is quite good for a sports bar. Nothing overcooked, great service and wonderful atmosphere. I get it that some people have high expectations, but there are no table clothes on these tables. :). Do yourself a…favor and look at the overall ratings of this place and make your decision based on that…not on some dude who’s hatin’ on a new owners’ bar. I’d put this place up against of the major franchises back in the states with quality of food.More
The new owner (over heard him telling another patron) he has owned it for a month. The food was not to expectations foe a sports bar. Wings extremely dry and over cooked. Chicken sandwich was mostly breading. It was disappointing. We were there on a…Sunday and just a few people there.More
If you want to see Canadian and American sports, this is the place to go. Great place to meet with friends for sports and drinks. Alezar makes the best margaritas
This little bar is legit. I know, does Vallarta really need another sports bar? No, not really. But this place is so much more than just a sports bar. The staff is always friendly and attentive and the burger is amazing. Their prices are great…and unless there is a big event they don’t have the volume on the TV’s. If there are no sports they’ll even play anything else you would like! I’m not the kind of person that loves to sit at a bar in front of a TV, but the bartenders here will chat with you. Don’t believe me? Stop in anytime there isn’t a major sporting event and have a drink. You’ll thank me later. Plus the owner is a real cutieMore
Not a big restaurant/bar however, really enjoyed the evening spent there watching a hockey game. I challenged the owner/bartender, to make a drink he had never heard of and was impressed with the outcome, thanks. The bar type food is excellent and it is a…laid back type of atmosphere.More
Eleazar (hope I spelled his name right) was super accommodating along with Greg. I cane here to watch the leafs game and without hesitation the game was on with audio. I had no intentions of eating the food here but it ended up being the…best decision I made by ordering the delicious fish tacos with tartar sauce and other toppings. Very reasonable prices and would definitely recommend. So glad I stopped by awesome staff and even better atmosphere with amazing foodMore
We went here twice on our recent trip to PV to catch a Jets game. It’s a cozy little sports bar that caters to tourists wanting to catch their home team play. The service here is insanely prompt and friendly for such a busy little…place. In fact, when my friend and I arrived to meet our group our first stop was to wait for the washroom as it was occupied. The manager saw us and stopped by to ask if he could have a drink ready at our table for when we got to it. Now THAT is service!!! The manager/owner, whose name is evading me right now and I feel bad for it, is such a friendly chatty guy who makes all his guests feel valued. On a return trip we will be sure to try the food which we have heard good things about. Our new favourite sports bar PV.More
Great food, friendly atmosphere, numerous tv screens and excellent service! A must go to place to watch your favorite team play while in PV! You must also have the fish tacos and chicken strips!! They are delicious ????
We wanted to watch the Scotties and found this little pub. There were many Canadians with the same idea in there. We shared a burger and salad. It was delicious. The owner was very friendly.
We go to this Sports Bar all time when we can get in. The place is quite small but very friendly. Lots of TVs Greg will try and find your game if there is a free TV. The food is very good and reasonably priced….Beer is always cold and fast. I have had the BLT sandwich. The chicken strips are to die for. The Rings,Wings and French fries are great. They have the real potato wedges. Can’t go wrong watching your favorite game here. Cheers GregMore
Even though we were surrounded by Seattle fans, it was great to be able to watch the game and see the Packers win! Great service too!
The word is out… Players Bar makes a capital K Killer hamburger. I love them, and the potato wedges and/or huge side salad makes a full dinner even for me! Super inexpensive too. Also a great group of people end up there for hockey games….This is now our regular hangout. Really close to the Tropicana.More
