The chicken was good but the staff was not friendly at all. They didn’t want to add another table we are a family of 5 we were all bunched up and the food didn’t fit in our crowded table. They were allowed to combine 2…tables. 1 person sat on that table for 6. We were forced to sit on a table for 4 Since they didn’t want to add another table where we were sitting, the waitress accidentally spilled the plate of rice on my son. I asked her to give me another side of rice which she hesitantly did. The sides were not great btw.More
The food is fresh and tasty and you get a huge amount for a small price. Service was quick but not very friendly.
This is what Guy Fieri would call a Mexican dive if he filmed in PV, but the chicken is outstanding. The place is totally nondescript inside but it was packed. We got a half chicken that comes with two sides. The chicken was some of…the best I ever had. Tender, juicy, smoky, skin was crispy. Just outstanding. Prices are extremely reasonable. I always make time to go to Pollo Feliz every time I come to PV. Unfortunately this time round, chicken not so good. Too dry, and over salted.
… but there are better options elsewhere. The staff was friendly, though the bill was quite hefty for a taco joint in Mexico.
Affordable delicious meal that feeds a family of four easily! Hot and made fresh all day! A must when in Puerto Vallarta!
We actually ate at the Bucerias location which was FABULOUS! The waitress was very helpful and kept the food coming! Clean restaurant and clean restrooms. Highly recommend!
We couldn’t leave puerto Vallarta without a visit to Pollo Feliz. Their chicken is delicious, homemade tortillas and all their sides compliment the chicken nicely!
If you’ve seen Breaking Bad (and if you haven’t, you really ought to), this place is just like Los Pollos Hermanos, complete with artificially polite staff, a map of restaurants that spans Mexico and southern USA, and of course – chicken. Though suspiciously fast to…arrive, the food here is pretty ruddy tasty. Particular highlights include the baked potato smothered in melted butter and cheese which makes a great accompaniment to the whole ‘carbonised’ chicken. Great value,too.More
Charbroiled chicken for $10. How can you go wrong. Also the coslaw And dessert.FLAN. SUPER Home made tortillas and good service. It’s a beautiful thing.
Can run a little dry, but this bbq chicken is so tasty. Get a full chicken package and it comes with tortillas and salsa, ready to make a bunch of tacos.

If not for the closure of our favorite lunch place Traviesos, we would not have found and eaten at this place. Since it was late, my hubby and I thought it would be a good place to eat even though it looked like a fast…food chicken joint. It appeared to be very popular with the locals. We went in and were discouraged with thoughts that it would be a very very long time to get our meal when we queued up behind a dozen of customers. This was soon forgotten when a young lady who spoke excellent English told us that we were in the wrong queue… we were in a queue for customers who would like meals to go!. She signaled us to go straight to the cashier to place our order if we would like to dine in. Our Roasted Chicken with sides came is a jiffy. The half chicken was deliciously marinated, the coleslaw was good unlike the ones in the States, tortillas were warm and the rice was just not rice. It was flavorful and tasty! So a disappoint turned out to be a good surprise!!!!More
Everything about Pollo Feliz is delicious. Their chicken, tortillas, beans and salsa are amazing. It’s a definite must when you visit Puerto Vallarta
Went in for a half chicken for my self. The sauce was awful the chicken and tortillas where cold. Besides the quality of the product. Was left not feeling so well afterward.
