They have gotten more expensive than the competition. We also noticed that service is not as good as it has been in the past. It takes exceptionally long to get food and drinks. Seems like they have fewer servers.
I always go because I live across the street from my condo, and the service is slow but I get it, it’s a really big place. Toño always attends me 5 stars for him.
We’ve always gone to a more famous beach club slightly north of this one. On our last trip, we went to Ritmos. It gets busier as the afternoon wears on—but great service, reasonable prices and far less vendors to interrupt you than some of the…other beach clubs. They give you a wrist band for access to the (clean) bathrooms. The food was good and the place is a good value. Located between two large gay resorts, but welcoming to all.More
We got food to go 2 times from here and it was very Reasonable, Big Portions and Fantastic. The Service is very Good and they are so Friendly..
Great service and staff! No rental fee for chairs and umbrella right on Los Muertos beach in PVR. Staff are eager to serve and work hard bringing food and drink from the facility trough the sand to your seating area. Keep track of your consumption…to ensure your bill is accurate and don’t forget to tip! Great for a relaxing and fun day at the beach!More
Made you wait upstairs to buy drinks in the so called waiting list. But then let tons of people in and the waiters found them chairs. They originally said one hour wait but after and hour said 3-4 hours. The supervisor Salina was “ too…busy” to talk to us. Survival of the fittest. Push your way in to get chairs because they are completely unorganized and have no control over it. Very poor. Go elsewhere really.More
I alternated between this place and another Beach club during my visit. These place is budget friendly without compromising service and. Dood quality. Great location to sun bathe and spend a Wonderful day at the beach.
Servers agues in front of you on the beach. They take bribes to reserve the front seats even though you show up at 10 am and the seats are empty till the afternoon. Then when you get a front seat they take money from other…patrons and put them right in front of you . This is all about tipping in advance or you get crappy service. I recommend you go spend your money at another beach cafe or club.More
We came here on my birthday for a relaxing beach day. The drinks were flowing, and if you need a bite to eat, they got you. Lots of vendors around, but they’re somewhat easy to shoo away…unless you want something, then they’ll definitely come and…pay attention to you. Don’t be afraid to haggle! No muss, no fuss, very straightforward beach front food and drinks. And if you don’t like the beach umbrella and chair setup, don’t worry, they got you.More
Love this place…friendly helpful staff, great food, good drinks, good prices, nice chairs and umbrellas, nice sand. Excellent.
Located next to the Blue Chairs area, there is more room here with large thatched palapas and added umbrellas and chairs when needed when needed. This s a great place to spend the day, people watch and have lunch and a few drinks. The staff…are hard working trudging through the sand to meet everyone’s needs. The food is surprisingly good for this casual setting. Great ceviche with a generous amount of chips, best burger & fries I have had in PV! I also like their TexMex bowl. The bathrooms are cleanMore
my wife and i went a few weeks ago. yes, they cater to the gay crowd, but the service was good, the chairs were comfortable, we felt safe and it was a lot of fun. there’s lots of male eye candy (if you are into…that) and all the guys are super nice. the wait staff was welcoming and attentive. it was super cheap and we’d go again in a heart beat.More
Our annual trip to PVR for R&R is always made possible by Memo, our server at Ritmos Beach Cafe. We arrived early each morning to be sure that we had beach chairs and an umbrella. Memo did an exceptional job this year considering that he…had to deal with social distancing and those patrons who think that they are immune to COVID19, immune to manners and immune to rules. It amazed us how often the team at Ritmos had to repeatedly tell the same people that they had to obey the rules. Thank you, Memo, for keeping us safe, keeping us served and for keeping a smile. (I have to assume that you were smiling behind your mask even though I am certain that you were not always doing so.) Thank you, too, to the restroom attendant for keeping the facility clean and hand sanitizer at the ready.More
Whether you sit on the beach or upstairs, great view of the bay. The food is good for beach style eats. Memo takes great care to be there when you need something without being overbearing. Great day at the beach!
We spent a few days here. Excellent service and really friendly waiters. The food was pretty good. Well spaced chairs, so we felt very safe.
