This used to be our go to taco place. Unfortunately, it appears Covid closure got them. Per conversation with locals, they closed in 2020. So sad.

my wife and I love this place, if you look closely at the place you will realize it used to be a car repair shop, now it makes great food. we are usually the only white people in the place and we get looks from…some of the other customers, but the staff is always friendly and the food is great. I’ve seen other reviews that say it is kind of expensive, but I think it is cheap. we had 8 Grande pastor taco and 2 sodas for 170 pesos or roughly $9.More

Nice rustic little taco stand along main road very near to Canto del Sol area. A little language barrier, but menu is easy to understand. Everything is prepared fresh on the spot including tortillas. Highly recommend the Adobada tacos. Asada tacos are good too. Everything…comes in Quesadillas too and lots of sauces. They are open for lunch then again for dinner (after 8) with what I hear is a broader menu. Would eat there over and over!!!More

The good things about this place: + big space, room for many people. + you have the option to sit in the bar or at the tables. + tacos and quesadillas were delicious, well served, generous. Tortilla flavor and texture, are superb. + music, have…to say is not something you look in a taco place, but it sounded fantastic. The bad, unfortunately: + the person who attended us, a middle aged woman, was kind of “I don’t wanna work today”. Even though she made an effort, service was slow and smiles were really missed. + whe asked four times the check, and finally told her “mam, we really want to pay”. Minutes later came a guy with glasses and almost screamed “128 pesos!!!”. No paper, nothing in hand. Asked if I could see what I was paying and he told me “well, then go and pay in the front”. I gave him the money and demanded him to charge me. + I suppose the reason they don’t give you the paper, has to do with money they charge you and stays “under the water”. + their tacos are expensive (20 pesos is almost 1USD but paying that for 1 taco is a lot here in Mexico). Suppose has to do with the location and for how well served they are.More

We’ve been going to this outdoor covered taco stand for years. Lily has been the boss there for 23 years. Older ladies make the tortillas by hand. They’ve expanded with more tables and chairs in what used to be their parking lot. Seating is also…available at the counter. The bathrooms are clean and there is a sink outside. There are many varieties of tacos to choose from (fish, shrimp, birria, carne asada, etc. Menu included). They have consistent quality, large portions and reasonable prices. They offer “aguas” (horchata, jamica, limonada) and a couple of deserts (but you won’t have room for them). The quesadillas are large and you can have your choice of meats. They are across the street from Coppell on Calle Francisco Medina Ascencio on the corner. All the locals eat there (cab drivers, dept. store employees, etc.) so it must be good.More

These tacos and quesadillas are a must have, especially the marlin. There doesn’t seem to be a lot of overhead in their prices, so don’t expect fancy seating. The food and salsas are superb.

I almost walked by this restaurant. It’s very unassuming and did not even have a sign when I visited. There was no menu, just a few hand written signs on the wall. Service was available in Spanish and English. The food was extremely delicious and…there was no wait. I went back twice and would have gone again if I had more time. the pastor tacos are delicious, and the prices are very inexpensive!More

Located very close to Secrets and Now Amber This little taco stand is a gem we never miss when in town. Not much to look at but the tacos are fantastic. fresh pressed tortillas, very flavorful condiments and a great value. 6 large tacos less…then $10 US. Pro tip. Stop across the street at La Playa liquor store and bring your own beer.More

As an American, we are used to a certain….aesthetic…to our restaurants. This place ain’t it! Situated on a semi-busy street corner, it is completely open. The ‘walls’ are tarps and the kitchen is the size of a bathroom in the middle of the joint. But…the tacos are amazing! We tried the fish, carne asada and chicharron tacos. There are sauces/pickled onions on the table for you to add. These were so damn good and we paid less than $10 to feed two adults. Can’t beat it! I don’t believe anyone spoke English (and we don’t speak Spanish), but we made it happen. You should too!More

I have been for lunch quite a few times as I work nearby. I always get the vegetaraina tacos with beans and veggies, which happen to be vegan by the way (in case you go with vegan people). Service is fast, the place is airy,…on the street though, so a can be noisy. All in all the food is good and recommended!More

I really like this place. Really good food. I’ve tried the Birria Tacos, Quesadilla, and fish tacos. The tacos are delicious and the quesadilla is great! The fish is fried which is alright but I wish they offered a fresh fish option. Great presentation and…I also really like their chipotle mayo. For the area they’re great tacos. But the best tacos in PV are downtown.More

I visited Tacos Mar y Tierra for the second time this past June and was as impressed as I was the first visit. The tacos are excellent and have great flavour. Pair them with an ice cold soft drink and you’ll be in heaven for…only a few dollars. I also really liked the salsas they make available as they too are flavourful and fresh tasting. The prices may be a touch more expensive than other local street taco places but are still quite affordable for most everyone. Next time I am going to try a quesadilla. If you’re staying in a nearby hotel or are otherwise in the area, pay this place a visit. It’s great!More
