I have been to yeo’s since they open the place. They make my wife favorite passion fruit mezcalrita But we also love their food and atención the quality and consistency in their food and service makes yeo’s one of our favorite
We used to be weekly regulars, but the menu changes and the price increases are absurd so I have to modify my review. The drinks, even bottom shelf liquor are so expensive. The veggie shrimp tempura is now over $500 pesos and many items have…been removed altogether. Easily $1500 pesos for two drinks each and 2 rolls that aren’t even the raw fish rolls….just can’t do it when there are so many other options.More
The worst everything except the saki!! Well, service was excellent, food sucked, asahi Japanese beer was 120 pesos!!?? Bill was 2300 pesos plus tip sianora amigo, Never again
We’d heard about the restaurant and decided to give it a try. We have a teacup schnauzer, 6 pounds, who stays in his LV “condo” and travels everywhere with us. We arrived at the restaurant to find no one there, and not even greeted with…a Hola or hello…the hostess was leaning on her podium and gave us the side eye. We were asked “dos”? and led toward the patio. Mid June in Vallarta, I’m not keen on eating raw seafood on a 90 degree patio. I said we’d prefer to sit inside with AC and I was told it was “against the rules”. We left. Good luck YEO…we can actually afford your over priced raw fish…not only did you insult us…but I’m going to tell everyone I know how you treated us and all about your “rules”….if I was more inclined I’d send you a dollar so you could go buy yourselves a clue! You won’t be in business long with your dumb rules!More
Artfully presented and extremely good quality! What more can you ask for? We had a tuna sashimi with truffle oil. The crispy rice with spicy tuna and more… Truly divine. The atmosphere is amazing! I have been to Japan 3 times and this sushi stands…up to any restaurant I have ever had sushi in . Service could be a little more attentive. We felt like the staff was too busy talking to each other rather than focusing on service. But bottom line…DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS GEM!More
Always love coming here and just enjoying the atmosphere, food and service. Best sushi you can have in Mexico no joke. Tried the margaritas this time and absolutely loved them. Thank you once again for such an excellent service! Hope to be back soon!
Today is the second day of Hunter Sushi week here in Puerto Vallarta. Now I have a Happy spot already. Great Chef great staff great music clean and you feel at home. Thank you with Sushi Love.
Great experience. Sushi was Divine and waiter Paco was excellent and he gave us some good suggestions. Not in the tourist part of Vallarta but if you have a craving for sushi then it’s well worth finding it. Nice ambiance. As with many restaurants in…Vallarta music videos are played. Can be annoying but also something to have fun chatting about.More
Excellent sushi Horrible music. Probably the best sushi around great atmosphere. Sushi is fresh and tasty. Don’t know why the music is so loud and feel like you are in a disco. Even on the patio. We have been here 5 times and never changes…with the music. Tonight was the worstMore
We dine there several times per month, because we absolutely love the place. The fish is fresh & the decor is amazing.
Yeo is a new kid on the block and is delivering some of the best sushi you can eat in Puerto Vallarta and the bay area. The decor is contemporary and cool with a really awesome mural graffiti sexy geisha thing. Honestly everything I ate…there the couple times I have been working perfectly good. It’s not the best sushi you’ll ever have in your life by a long shot but it’s definitely what I consider the best in the area right now. Don’t expect Zuma or Nobu, but you can expect very decent cuts of fresh fish correctly served, a friendly staff… One thing, the music is over the top; they are trying to hit the “trendy” note so hard that sometimes it makes it a little bit hard to talk to each other, tune it down a notch for those on a romantic night out.More
In Puerto Vallarta for the first time and went to dinner with a local – this is where he chose to take us, and we were so happy that he did! The atmosphere was chill, the design was sleek and clean, the staff was funny…and helpful, and the sushi was divine!!! We had the spicy edamame to start, then chose several different roles to share – my favorite was the Moshi Roll. This define it the place to go for incredible sushi!More
This was our first visit to Yeo. A friend was treating us for doing him a favor. There are only a couple of parking spots out front. We parked next to 2 parking spots occupied with 5 motorcycles owned by the restaurant next door. Yeo’s…interior was done in a modern design, black walls, with a huge mural of a woman on the 2 story wall. You have your choice of upstairs or downstairs seating. There was at least one TV upstairs and one downstairs at the bar but fortunately not blasting away. There was 80’s rock playing softly as background music. There were both tables and chairs and padded bench seats with chairs. It seemed to accommodate wheelchairs (1st floor). They have an extensive 3 page Japanese “roll” menu along with other offers like Mizo soups, green salads, tempura, teriyaki, etc. Prices are moderate. Also an extensive alcohol and non-alcohol menu. I had the tempura/4 large onion rings, carrot, zucchini, shrimp and fish (under 200 pesos). The batter was not thick and doughy like so many places have. It was served hot and crunchy with dipping sauce and a “tiny” bowl (4 bites, why so little?) of steamed sticky rice. Hubs and friend had dragon rolls and tuna rolls with plain miso soup. All of us had jasmine iced tea. (The tea would have been much better if they left out the lime wedge.) Everyone was very pleased at the presentation, freshness, quality and taste of the food. We were offered some kind of ice cream that was “rolled and made” at your table (89 pesos) but we declined. The waitstaff was attentive, ordering time to serving time was moderately fast. All requests for more wasabi/ginger and soy sauce were attended to in good timing. Cost for 5 large (8 piece) rolls 135-165 pesos each, tempura 189, 1miso plain soup and 3 iced teas-1048 pesos(=$60. U.S.) I am looking forward to our next visit there.More
This is the best sushi in Vallarta – and we LIVE here. The new renovation is beautiful. The freshest fish you will ever eat. Don’t miss it!
We enjoyed the restaurant a lot. They were very accommodating. We had wanted to get tuna and salmon rolls with veggies, and they prepared them as we requested. The sushi was tasty, and the price was reasonable.
