Had a fantastic dinner here with Cesar taking such good care of us made it very special for our anniversary- we could not have found a more beautiful spot- perfect view, amazing and creative cocktails and high end interesting plates. Everyone on the restaurant loved…taking pictures in the swing on the patio in front of the sunset. iK is an amazing dinner spot. Do not miss this. Not just because of the location and the menu, but because of Cesar. Cesar made our special night even more special. When the best table in the house opened up, he moved us over to…that table. His recommendations on the amazing cocktails were spot on. Would come back just because of Cesar. Do not miss this chance. It’s a lovely rooftop bar with an incredible view, especially at sunset. Great food and cocktails. Sergio was impeccable with service and he even stepped in as photographer with amazing photos on the swing. ☺️
We had the most amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was excellent in presentation and taste, and the service was impeccable! The view is unbeatable! Cesar will treat you to a unique experience! We will definitely return the next time we’re in Puerto Vallarta!
Cesar took great care of us. We actually sat here for hours in our little nest. We started with just 2 of us wanting a cocktail which morphed into all 6 of us for dinner. We had to switch to a bigger nest! Our son…has celiac and they were able to accommodate his dietary needs. NOT an easy task in Mexico we found out. Cocktails were inventive and tasty. Food was served very artfully. And the view was just perfect as we watched the sunset. We had the octopus, the ahi, and pork carnitas. All cooked to perfection. When we return to PV we will return to iK Mixology.More
My husband & I have visited IK Mixology several times. It’s our favorite spot to get unique cocktails and watch the sunset. Victor at the bar makes top notch drinks and gave us wonderful service. Charly !!! Thank you for giving my daughter and I an unforgettable experience for my birthday . We had no plans that evening , we were just casually walking along the boardwalk . The host asked us if we wanted to come in and take…a look .Being as we certainly weren’t dressed for the occasion we were reluctant however his sincerity convinced us to take a look around and take pictures . We felt zero pressure to stay yet felt a sense of comfort when we walked in . The cascading lights and the flora above the bar were the perfect balance of earthy and elegance . We were welcomed with open arms , with detailed attention to service and respect . It’s been a week since we had the honour to experience the decadence of the chocolate cake and the artistry of the sensual and Fire gin drinks . Absolutely unforgettable! Highly recommend! Please ask for Charly , he treated both my daughter and I with the utmost respect . He is a master at his art . We will go back to Puerto Vallarta for this experience again . One of a kind experience . If you are in Puerto Vallarta , make a reservation here for sunset . The view is spectacular and the atmosphere is welcoming . Definitely take a picture in the hanging chair , part of the experience .More
Visited iK Mixology last night and was treated to the best Margarita I’ve had in five visits to Puerto Vallarta. Sat at the bar and Victor and Carlos gave us terrific service. First time in Puerto Vallarta, and got caught in the rain while here – but had a wonderful time talking to Victor at the bar! Drinks were beautiful and top-notch – I won’t forget the special touches. ❤️ Fue el mejor huracán que e tenido!…Everyone on staff were amazing – they brought out towels for everyone when the lluvio grew heavy. Food and views were also excellent. Definitely worth a visit! ☺️More

They don’t respect reservations – 40 minutes after our reservation we are still waiting for our table. This really is NOT good enough.More

If you want perfect service, Jair was the best, most attentive server ever and a creative menu cooked perfectly – this is your place! It was our 19th anniversary and my hubby could not have picked a better restaurant! Victor the bartender was an artist…and my margaritas were concoctions made with hibiscus sugar rims, fresh fruit and flowers. Also plenty of tequila! We shared the Countryside Thought to start – Tender zucchini flowers stuffed with wild mushroom, Tofu, over a sweet corn sauce served with caramelized popcorns and baby corn. Amazing. I had Pina Colada Shrimp – Six giant shrimp on a bed of delicately seasoned quinoa and a drizzle of pineapple coconut sauce. The shrimp were PERFECTLY cooked. John got the filet mignon with mole. I would have liked to take home a cup of the mole! The steak was butter tender and again – perfection. Dessert was a chocolate cake and they hand written Happy anniversary in chocolate with hearts! You guys!!!!More

We visited today from the Rui Vallerta hotel in Nuevo Vallerta. It took us 45 minutes and the journey did not disappoint. I don’t normally write reviews but I felt as though the restaurant needed the recognition it deserves. Our experience was second to none…from start to finish. Ramon and Cesar were amazing hosts. They took photo’s, chatted to us and customised our desert once they knew it was our first wedding anniversary. Food wise we couldn’t fault it and it was levels above our 5* hotel food. I had read some reviews of the portions being small and the food being subpar. I couldn’t disagree more….The popcorn shrimp were great and we both had this. I can be really fussy with seafood but these I would have every night of the week. I then had the chicken and pasta and my wife had the filet mignon. Both were spot on. They also gave us some fresh bread and garlic butter which again was great. Then for desert we ordered a cheesecake to share but they brought out a customised desert for our anniversary. Again, a lovely touch. The drinks were also well priced for the area, we had a drink at the blue shrimp before we arrived and they were so expensive in comparison for the same drinks. The setting as well was something to Instagram. With it being a rooftop bar the view of the sea, sunset and pier was fantastic. All in all, it was well worth the journey, and for the price I would recommend to anyone visiting in from the surrounding areas.More
