Went for dinner base on a friend’s recommendation. The service was excellent and the food amazing. Had the potato/ mushroom soup which was delicious. We had the specials which were Madi- mahi and lamb shank. Both were very good. We ate outdoors which was a…little loud due to the busy corner but contributed to the uniqueness of the experience.More
This was an impressive and attentive dining experience. While OpenTable gave us the impression that it would be quite expensive ($$$$), it truly was not. The interior is a beautiful modern design, but both times, we ate outside. Each experience was with different people accompanying…us and all were very satisfied. Five different individuals played roles in serving us. All with excellent English and very helpful and kindly interactions. The head chef even made a point of visiting our table. Appetizers, main and desserts were all excellent – especially loved the schnitzel. This dining room offered us terrific service and amazing food… A+.More

We went twice during our recent week in PV. They’ve a 3 course special, perfect for us. We don’t have big appetites but we like to try everything. And everything was delicious, fresh ingredients @nd freshly cooked. We will be back.

We always love to come to this place. Their food is definitely on the top when it comes to taste and presentation. Service is top notch as well. I always get the catch of the day and you will not be disappointed! The best. Definitely…highly recommended place to dine when in puerto Vallarta. Worthy to try new cuisine by the chef. A hidden gem in plain sight. We had the most enjoyable meal, great location, great food and service. Nicolas was completely attentive with the help of Carlos and Carlos. From the delicious stuffed figs, to the schnitzel and finishing up with apple beignets – flawless….We have eaten at Swedes one street away, and across town at the Iguana. This was every bit the experience with a warm and friendly feel from the terrific staff.More

We had a really lovely dinner with impeccable service that PV is known for. From the moment our amazing server Nico arrived to the very end of the meal our experience was fantastic. My husband had the house specialty ossobucco. The meat just fell off…the bone and was flavorful and delicious. I had the fresh fish of the day that was a flaky, buttery, white fish perfectly cooked. We left completely satisfied and look forward to returning to this stylish restaurant located in the heart of Zona Romantica!More

We are here to take advantage of their three course summer special for 500 pesos. It was WELL worth it. All courses were absolutely delicious. I got the garlic shrimp appetizer (highly recommend) and the lamb as my main course. It was probably the best…lamb dish I’ve ever had anywhere. Nico was a wonderful server and he helped us decide what to get. My husband got the figs (delicious but I personally preferred the shrimp) and the catch of the day, which was seasoned perfectly. The dessert, we both got apple beignets which they said is the chef’s grandmother’s recipe. Perfectly prepared. This place is a great choice for a nice dinner.More

This restaurant is exquisite in every way. The wine list and cocktail menu offer affordable and delicious choices. The service is superb, and the food is out of this world. Never have I ever had such a tasty meal in Mexico. Chef Andreas and his…team and creating a location that is truly a real “find” here in Puerto Vallarta. You will not be disappointed in any way. A co-worker who visits PV often recommended this place for a special dinner and it paid off. Marvelous food, great service. We both selected the Summer Menu at MX $499, so about US $27 each for three courses. My wife chose the stuffed figs and…I the sauteed asparagus as appetizers. Our main course for both was the Nayarit Lamb Barbacoa style. For dessert, she had the Grandma-style Apple Beignet (a recipe from the chef’s grandmother in Germany) and I had the chocolate mousse. We liked Azafran so much we considered returning for dinner during our one week in PV.More

What an amazing restaurant . From the time we walked in the staff were excellent and so professional . The food, atmosphere and staff were all outstanding!!! I was talked into going and had my reservations… they were quickly quashed the second we entered. It was a quiet start and we were the only ones there. Don’t let that deter you, the food was…well above par!! We started with margaritas, stuffed figs and sautéed asparagus, both of which had excellent flavor and were prepared perfectly! The main course was short ribs and my partner had shredded lamb wrapped in cabbage. The short ribs fell apart and were cocked to perfection. The flavor with the gravely, vegetables and masked potatoes couldn’t have been better. We’ll be back, guaranteed!!More
