Great people and delicious food. We tried multiple items and each was delicious. Homemade sauces, pesto, and more. Truly a wonderful small place.
My group of five decided to come here on the next to last day of our ten-day trip to Mexico. We chose it because they had bagels and we wanted something different. Being from New York, where we have perhaps the best bagels in the…US, if not the world, we were not expecting much. I actually ordered a bagel with cream cheese and lox. The bagels were delicious and the breakfast sandwich was just what i needed. One of the members of my group ordered the french toast. I have to say, it was one of the best french toasts I have ever tasted. Now on this particular Saturday the place was especially busy as two of the employees had called out. The woman who was running around taking all of the orders and serving the dishes was amazing. She not only handled all of the tables as best she could, she was super sweet and paused to make brief conversation and answer any we questions we had. For anyone visiting Puerto Vallarta, I would highly recommend that you visit Azul Bistro for breakfast or lunch at least on one of your days here.More
We visited Azul during our family visit in January, 2022. At first glance, the tables are outside and the kitchen is not very large. The chef, Hugo Chavez, serves fine dining and the visit was well worth it. We will definitely go back on our…next trip.More
The servers were extremely nice and the food was to die for. I had the special which was a caprece omelet and it did not disappoint. The place is super cozy and clean! Would 100% recommend this place!
10/10. The tamalhuevo is SO GOOD. Wife had the caprese omelet. All around, great choice! Friendly staff, great location, will be back and recommending to all friends!
Do yourself a favor and visit Azul’s Bistro! It’s a lovely little bistro that serves the BEST breakfast! Very much a “traditional” Mexican delight! Friendly staff and very reasonable prices. One of the best!
Went based on other reviews and it didn’t disappoint! This is a very small establishment with maybe 6 tables inside and only 4 outside, but well worth the 15 min wait we had for outside. La señora welcomed us with a big smile after clearing…a table for us with a fresh tablecloth (nice touch). The amazing smells coming from the kitchen made it tough to decide what to order. I went with the chilaquiles with poblano sauce and my bf ordered the Azul huevos (deep fried soft boiled eggs) – because whaaaaat?! Both dishes were off the hook delicious and came with a side of mashed potatoes that were 5 stars on their own. All for $5-8 USD a plate. Mimosas were also spot on and $5 ea. We found this little restaurant by chance just walking the streets downtown. It is owned by a husband and wife, who are just wonderful. The husband does the cooking (but also took our orders). We had an early lunch – lots of selections, and the…food was great. They treated us like family.More
I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. My boyfriend and I ate here for breakfast almost every morning because we loved it so much. Esmeralda is a gem, as is this establishment. The food is delicious, the restaurant is cozy, and it’s tucked away from busy…traffic. You can’t go wrong no matter what you order!!More
Caesar and the team at Azul Bistro are wonderful. Always warm and welcoming. And the food is delicious. We have visited four times in the past fortnight. My friend said it was the best omelette he’s ever had. I had a variety of dishes, all…beautifully prepared and tasty. We’ll definitely be coming back when we are next in Puerto Vallarta.More
Went for breakfast and we were very happy with not only the food, but the service as well. It’s a small place, but we were seated immediately and got our drinks right away. I would recommend the smoked salmon omelette. I loved it!!
Easily the best breakfast in PV. Our second time here and it was fabulous again. French toast is amazing as is the green juice. Excellent service too.
This is one of my haunts in PV. Every visit is special and there is no disapointment ever. The food is always superb and the service is extremely friendly. The cafe is smaller so I appreciate that they had a covid table to enforce distancing….I can’t say enough about this place and I almost don’t want to leave a review and encourage more tourists to crowd up my favorite place! Ive had a variety of items off the menu and not once have I regretted my selection. Every dish is simply awesome. Price wise, it compares with other smaller places in PV but is cheaper than other more famous places. It is worth every penny. Please do youself a favour and visit, cash only.More

Super friendly people, excellent service. The green sauce is perfection. The chiliquilis had just the right amount of every ingredient. Love this place.
