This little restaurant is amazing. The service is fast and efficient. They have a small little condiment counter to personalize your meal. A must try is there habanero pineapple salsa. Will be going for more yummy tacos very soon.
Tacos were nothing special. Service and atmosphere were good. Had breaded shrimp tacos. For better value and taste try Maria Baja.
Great fish tacos, yummy margaritas, with several choices of flavors, good service, decent prices, outdoor seating!
Just a great small taco joint in the heart of the romantic zone. The owner was there and introduced himself. We chatted for a long while and I appreciated his love for his food. Pineapple salsa to die for.
After seeing all the YouTube videos and online reviews raving about this place we were pretty excited to try Tacos Revolucion…. Service was great ! The margaritas were tasty !! Prices were good ! The tacos…..not so great. Not sure if we hit them on…an off day which happens at restaurants from time to time. The chorizo taco was tasty but very average, the al pastor also tasty but maybe below average, the carne asada taco was not good at all. The meat was small grey cubes that reminded me of some low quality frozen bagged meat you would buy at Walmart. So many better choices in PV….More
My husband and I came here for dinner after reading the reviews and were pretty excited especially given how close it was to our hotel. Unfortunately we did not get the same experience others on here had but it’s alright! Not every where you eat…is going to blow you away right? We started off with the nachos Al pastor. These were pretty good, average, but decent. We then both ordered the Al pastor quesadilla with chorizo which didn’t have much in it but they did have a little bar with cilantro, onions, and limes, to add to it. The chorizo was a bit salty so I didn’t eat all of mine. Overall, I think we should have ordered the tacos since that is what they are known for.More
Third time here in as many years and I will always stop by here. The service is excellent and the food is amazing. The taco revolution is so good, different types of red meat deep fried in cheese then in a taco shell, it’s so…darn good. You won’t go wrong anywhere else on the menu, the volcanoes are great and we had the ice cream for dessert, mango, pineapple, I think guava, and orange, orange may have been the best. The t-shirts are great too. Go here if you plan on walking into the romantic zone.More
We have been here several times on past trips and always come back. The service this time was horrible. We felt like an inconvenience. Food was ok, I had alambre and my husband had carne en jugo. His was like soup, flavor was ok but…soupy.More
After trying to out so many great tacos from the many taco stands in the romantic zone we wanted to go to a sit down restaurant and found taco revolution. First of all, our server was great, spoke great English too which was helpful. The…terrible experience was due to the fact the fixings were not kept up (missing tongs, dry cucumber slices, out of cilantro), and every taco we ordered was bad. The al pastor pieces were unusually big and chunky and so very dry with no flavor. The chicharrones taco was greasy and unappetizing. Abodaba and asado tacos were also lacking salt and had a weird texture. The saving grace was the salsa they bring you (pineapple habanero) and chips. We won’t be returning again.More
Ate here three times during my two week visit to Puerto Vallarta. The tacos are delicious and customizable. Staff are friendly and efficient. Very authentic ambience. The best part is the ice cream.
Another great place to have a drink and eat some tasty food. I had the taco Al pastor, carne asada and chorizo. Condiments were available so you can enhance the flavors based upon your personal taste. Very affordable prices.
The tacos were amazing. I recommend sitting on their back patio. The staff was very friendly and attentive.
We’re regulars here and have enjoyed their amazing tacos over the last 9 years. Our favorites are their revolucion tacos, especially the seafood and regular Taco Revolucion. What makes these tacos unique is the protein, whether seafood or beef are grilled to perfection then wrapped…in melted cheese and it’s very filling, I can usually only eat two at most. I also enjoy their regular Baja style tacos especially the shrimp tacos. On our last 2 visits the Baja fish tacos were not crunchy and were a bit chewy but it’s probably just an off night. I still recommend this place based on the other tacos we tasted and thoroughly enjoyed. They also have THE BEST guacamole in PV! Creamy, fresh and seasoned right, you can’t go wrong with the guacamole here. ????More
Popped into Tacos Revolucion after a day at the beach late afternoon. My wife and I each ordered the tacos pastor and they were delicious. It was just enough food to fill the gap until dinner later that evening. Price was very reasonable and the…quality was excellent. Good service too. Sat outdoors on the covered sidewalk and watched all the action of Olas Altas in the Romantic Zone. Would definitely eat here again. Very nice ambience and friendly staff.More
I went here because of the great recommendation I received from my hotel. Cash only. Great food and service. Their corn tortillas were the best this first timer to Mexico has ever had. The food was great, and I loved their diverse salsa selection. I…came back here twice for delicious and quick lunches.More
