Excellent view and food and drinks and service. I love cannelloni and this place has the best I’ve had. I like the amount of spinach and it’s not smothered in too much cheese. They are so nice here and we dine a few times while…here in a 2 week period.More
I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. Always where we go. Was there. Christmas Day. Was busy, very busy but service was great. Food was hot. Bill was reasonable for food and wine and dessert. Will always go back.
We stopped here for a drink. Good value, especially with the beer. We were there between lunch and dinner. Had a pizza, was enough to share with four people. Washrooms were pristine! It’s on the Malacon, with an outdoor patio, but there is shrubbery to…outline the patio.More
The food from the caprisi to the cannelloni was fantastic. The Dulce Vita was also good but a little cold but great flavor. Our server never ask about desert and just brought the check. We would go back though as the food was great.
Best Italian hands down in PVR. The meals were large portion and so tasty. The staff were happy and friendly. A must eat!
The noise in this place is obnoxious!! They bang pans together and sing a song to celebrate someone’s birthday. It totally ruins the evening. The service is good, food is mediocre and the noise is offensive. Stay away if you want a good meal in…a pleasant environment. It was a truly negative experience!!More
Another highly over rated Puerto Vallarta restaurant. The food is mediocre at best and the service terrible. A friend really wanted to go for her birthday because of the view. The view is gorgeous I’ll say that! I’ve eaten better frozen pizza truth be told….The service was slow, inattentive and brusque. We had to flag down the waiter to order drinks, later our food and again for dessert. I live here and won’t be back. There are too many other great options.More
The food here is incredible – the best I have had outside of Italy. Excellent service and great ambiance. Located right on the Malecon, there are amazing oceans views to be had.
Stopped in here while out walking around. Attentive service, delicious food, reasonable prices. Would definitely visit again!
Great spot for gelato ice creams and any Mexican beers. The ambience is vibrant fusing in both cultures in decor & cuisine. Service is exemplary and the servers are detailed and efficient. I would recommend this spot any time when in puerto Vallarta.
La Dolce Vita Malecon is fabulous. We were walking by and saw the 2 for 1 margarita sign so stopped in. Ended up having munchies with a drink. I don’t think I have ever been in a restaurant with such good service! They waiters were…fabulous! Polite, efficient and extremely friendly and on the ball. Enjoyed the food and service so much, we walked through the pouring rain to head back for supper.More
I ordered delivery from Rappi for my birthday dinner. A pizza and a caprese salad. The Pizza was terrible and I couldn’t even eat it out of extreme hunger. The cheese is orange and slimy and definitely not anything close to mozzarella. I think it’s…chihuahua cheese, which has no place on a pizza. But the caprese salad, well, I’ll let the picture speak for itself. Caprese is supposed to have plenty of fresh basil, so you can have some with each bite. There is no fresh basil, just a tiny piece of mush of what was once maybe one small leaf. There is also supposed to be olive oil, which there was not. Served with a hunk of hard stale bread. Whole birthday dinner for 500 pesos, straight into the trash. I can’t believe they get away with this!More
The servers are always prompt and courteous. I almost always get the pizza with a salad. However many of the entrees are good.
I went to Puerto Vallarta Mexico on a whim from LA and on my own. La Dolce Vita restaurant and Mario and his staff made me feel completely relaxed and at home. Spaghetti alla Vongole first night – sweet clams- and pizza Capricciosa last night…and good squid in between, all really good. I went 4 nights out of 7! Best sunset views on the Malecon – the boulevard next to the sea – and great people watching. Lovely all round. Go!More
Had dinner for 6 as a birthday surprise for a friend. Every meal was wonderful. Bruschetta appetizer delicious. Outside or inside dinner with strolling musicians and great people watching. Tiramisu dessert with a candle as Mexican happy birthday played with pots banging. Fun evening with…reasonably priced excellent food.More
